The guy at the FD who checked us in was very nice. He was very helpful that when we noticed we don’t have a kettle in room, he went up to our floor and got us a new one.
The only downside was the cleanliness of the room. Hair was found beside the window and the duvet cover was a bit stained.
But overall we enjoyed the stay. :)
A single issue can significantly detract from the overall experience, overshadowing the hotel's positive attributes, such as its location and the city's appeal. The room's cleanliness did not meet the standards expected of a five-star establishment. Despite presumed cleaning efforts, the room exhibited persistent uncleanliness. Evidence of this is readily apparent; for example, personal items left on surfaces, such as an iPad, mobile device, or dark-colored clothing, quickly accumulated dust or grime. Photographic evidence further substantiates this claim. Upon departure after a two-night stay, we attempted to address this concern with the reception. However, instead of offering an apology, the staff questioned our delay in reporting the issue and offered a complimentary coffee as compensation. How funny.
I had an amazing time in the city of Montreal, with its vibrant atmosphere and lively summer spirit. From strolling through the cobblestone streets of Old Montreal, where history meets modern charm, to enjoying the stunning views from Mount Royal, every day was filled with unforgettable experiences. The city’s festivals and outdoor events added to the excitement, making summer in Montreal truly special. Whether savoring the local cuisine, exploring the artsy neighborhoods, or simply relaxing by the waterfront, every moment was a perfect blend of culture, adventure, and relaxation. Montreal in summer is an absolute delight!
Upon checking into our room had to use 2 separate elevators (neither of with were in good condition). Get to our room and it's 30deg in the room and it absolutely stinks of wet dog ( I know the smell). Next morning the --> Extra 26$/pp breakfast <-- in the hotel was horrible (just don't eat there. So many good restaurants in walking distance). The --> Extra 25$/day <-- Parking is overprice, go on Palais Montcalm (10 min walk) for 15$/day. For the money spent a this Marriott, our experience was very disappointed. Marriott Delta Quebec City used to be a higher end hotel now it's low end. Old and Tired Dirty rooms and bins of garbage in common areas doesn't help too.
We are both heavy travellers, and this experience at Delta is one of the worst I've been go through.

The location was great as it was close to Notre Dame Cathedral and just a short walk to the bus stop for the airport. It was also only 5 seconds away from Chinatown, so finding a late-night meal was never an issue. However, the hotel itself was very outdated, and the room assigned to me had a small window, making the space feel dark and a bit claustrophobic.
I accidentally left my AirPods in the room after checking out, and at first, they couldn’t be found. Thankfully, the lobby staff were very helpful, and the housekeeper eventually returned it to me. thanks to the kind security and lobby staff for their assistance!

UUsuario anónimoGood location, close to other services (restaurant, coffeeshop..), close to downtown . Room is large enough, can be cleaner around back door, fresher odor is needed. Staff is ok, some use language more fluently than others. Kitchen/ breakfast is full, relaxing. Parking is safe
EEntengInaMoSamesun Montreal Hotel & Hostel has become my go-to place whenever I need to stay in Montreal before traveling the next day. The location couldn’t be better—right near the metro, bus stops, and the Gare d’autocars, which makes it so easy to get around or catch an early departure. The hostel is always clean, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is welcoming. It’s reliable, convenient, and takes the stress out of my travel days. Highly recommend!
UUsuario invitadoThere are many positives about this long term stay hotel. The staff at the front desk is very friendly and helpful. The hot buffet (included with the price of the overnight stay)is absolutely amazing, just that alone is worth staying there. Toasts, bagels, muffins, cereals, hot porridge, cheese omelette, plain omelette, boiled egg, sausages, bacon, … and a “make your own” waffle station with sauces, whipped cream and different toppings!!! The coffee and tea or hot water is available in the lobby 24/7! Inside my studio suite, there is a full kitchen with dishwasher, full size fridge and you can borrow an electric induction plate for cooking. The room is big, with a curtain dividing the sofa bed and the king size bed. There are two layers of blinds to ensure complete darkness when sleeping.
The only negative thing was that my hotel room was facing the main road and so there were cars going by every 3-5 mins in the middle of the night, and I heard all the cars that went by, even at 1:00am or 3:00am while I was trying to sleep!!! The next day, I asked for ear plugs from the reception and slept so much better! I should have asked for them when I checked in.
The water temperature of the indoor saltwater pool is not too cold, but not warm. I had a good swim. This hotel is less than two years old, so everything is new, clean and bright. Lots of families with young children stayed there on the weekend I was there. A special thank you to the friendly staff especially the one who assisted me with my luggages.
LLittleMoonMoonI love this hotel. They have warm chocolate cookies, free hot spa and sauna. The bed is comfy and I had a really good sleep. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. I will definitely write a formal complaint.
I was at the shower - the shower gel and shampoo were both empty. Obviously they didn’t refill the bottle. That’s fine. I called the counter and asked them to bring me new bottles. They rejected and asked me to go down. Ok that’s fine. I asked my friend to go down. He came back and said someone would come to change the bottles soon. Sure. I stood in the shower room for 10 minutes and no one came. Ok maybe they needed more time. I came out of the shower and sat down on the bed. Another 10 minutes. So I asked my friend to find someone. He was told that someone would come again. Another 10 minutes. A man came and gave me a bottle of shampoo and body lotion???? My friend went out again and finally got me some shower gel in a cup. It took more than 30 minutes and I just stood there. After shower, I got to do the skincare routine, dry my long hair and so on. Eventually, I went to check out. I was late of course. The lady asked me to pay for late fee. I was like ???????????????????? Explained and she agreed to waive the fee. Everything was perfect until the empty da** bottles. I am late for my lunch reservation now and I am missing some attractions for sure.
UUsuario invitadoThis is our second visit to the Bonaventure. Both visits we have had trouble with paying for parking, and I am now calling because I think I was billed twice. I prepaid through Trip.com, and was charged again at the hotel.
That bruised a really nice visit. This was a rare family visit, and we were able to get a adjoining rooms.
Hotel is located on the 10th floor “penthouse “. There is access to the underground so no need to go outside in the cold, unless you want to take a dip in the pool. A unique experience for many guests
We miss placed our parking receipt and was given a voucher to give the parking attendant that never showed up. We waited 45 minutes to leave, had to go back up to the desk to explain and get another receipt. This morning I have to call the hotel because I believe I was charged again for the rooms. Front desk mixup? Probably, but
UUsuario invitadoVery good location in downtown Montreal - close to the Palais des Congres and Chinatown. Property well maintained. Room was small, but fine for 1 or 2 people. Room includes a simple breakfast of cereal, breads, fruit and hard-boiled eggs. Parking is available for a fee, but is very limited.
