The room's cleanliness did not meet the standards expected of a five-star establishment. Despite presumed cleaning efforts, the room exhibited persistent uncleanliness. Evidence of this is readily apparent; for example, personal items left on surfaces, such as an iPad, mobile device, or dark-colored clothing, quickly accumulated dust or grime. Photographic evidence further substantiates this claim. Upon departure after a two-night stay, we attempted to address this concern with the reception. However, instead of offering an apology, the staff questioned our delay in reporting the issue and offered a complimentary coffee as compensation. How funny.

The guy at the FD who checked us in was very nice. He was very helpful that when we noticed we don’t have a kettle in room, he went up to our floor and got us a new one. The only downside was the cleanliness of the room. Hair was found beside the window and the duvet cover was a bit stained. But overall we enjoyed the stay. :)

Samesun Montreal Hotel & Hostel has become my go-to place whenever I need to stay in Montreal before traveling the next day. The location couldn’t be better—right near the metro, bus stops, and the Gare d’autocars, which makes it so easy to get around or catch an early departure. The hostel is always clean, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is welcoming. It’s reliable, convenient, and takes the stress out of my travel days. Highly recommend!

This hotel exceeded all our expectations! The room was spotless, stylish, and super comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made me feel right at home. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Estaba muy sorprendido por este hotel. El hotel es pequeño y no en el centro, pero está bien situado, puede caminar al centro o tomar el metro (hay una estación realmente netas el hotel), y fue un buen valor para el dinero. El personal es agradable, habla inglés y francés y fue muy útil. La habitación era lo suficientemente grande para los tres de nosotros y tenía todas las comodidades necesarias. Hay un salón con café para mis huéspedes que me gusta. El desayuno era mejor que lo esperaba y sólo nos sacamos de la sala y nos llevamos a la sala de desayuno. No tienen estacionamiento, pero hay un parque público de coches a 2 minutos.
