Fue uno de los mejores hoteles en los que me he alojado. La habitación era espaciosa y limpia, ¡y la vista desde la habitación era increíble! El desayuno era suntuoso y lo esperaba con ansias cada mañana. El personal también fue muy amable y siempre educado. La mascota gato, Kuroneko, también era adorable. Uchisar está a mayor altitud que Goreme, por lo que el paisaje en general es más bonito y personalmente lo recomiendo. (El lugar del vuelo del globo aerostático no está lejos.) ¡Me encantaría quedarme aquí otra vez si vuelvo a Capadocia!

We booked 3 rooms for a group of 7 people. The air conditioner in one room was not working. When contacted, the staff who was first sent to check, insisted the AC was working and then said it was not the hotel’s problem. This was surprising and disappointing from a pure service perspective given the high reviews this property has across several booking platform. The lady in charge of the evening shift eventually agreed the AC was not working and gave us a basket of fruit as an apology but they were not able to fix the issue until the next day and provided some pedestal fans overnight. They again provided more fruit and bottled water the next morning before we left for our day tour as another apology. However the service (especially the initial reaction by the staff) and amenity scores are heavily impacted by this experience. Another issue was a slight leak from the bathtub in our room which ended up making half the floor wet afterwards every time someone took a shower. This again has resulted in a lower cleanliness and amenity score. The hotel were able to accommodate our request to have rooms on the ground level to avoid too much climbing up and down stairs (we had members of our party who had slight mobility issues) - which was a positive, however, these rooms overlooked the road which the hotel straddles and so fairly loud traffic can be be heard throughout the day and also very early in the morning (3:30am) from those leaving for their hot air balloon trips. The rooms don’t seem to have much sound proofing. Note: this is magnified by the fact that this road is at the top of a hill so motorists have to gun their engines to get to the top making the noise louder. These few issues overshadowed what was otherwise a decent experience. The breakfast buffet is great with a wide variety of options - service was great at the buffet. The rooftop terrace where you can sit and relax and watch the hot air balloons fly overhead early in the morning is another highlight.

This hotel is excellent! We do not have a single bad thing to say about it. The staff really make this place from the moment we arrived it was 5 star service! The hotel tour was exactly how I feel every establishment should be. Breakfast was unbelievable and the service always with a smile!

Location is very central which is good for tour pick ups. Hotel was nice and clean. Only problem was ventilation - we got the stone room, and there was immediately a bit of a sewer smell lingering in the room that hit us, which was a bit unpleasant. It went off once we got the heater going. Other than that, everything else was good. Breakfast was the best part though it starts quite late, 830am to 1030am.

Viajábamos en familia y reservamos un hotel adicional. Como era temporada alta y los hoteles estaban caros, nos preocupaba pagar más si reservábamos a última hora, así que reservamos uno con cancelación gratuita. Sin embargo, elegimos otro hotel, el Sultan, y el plazo de cancelación ya había expirado. El hotel se negó a reembolsarnos el dinero después de que nos pusiéramos en contacto con ellos. El personal del hotel fue muy amable. Como ese día había poca ocupación, tenían muchas habitaciones libres y nos mostraron casi todos los tipos de habitación, diciéndonos que podíamos elegir cualquiera y que nos darían una mejora gratuita. Pero al final, no nos dieron la mejora. La ubicación está cerca del Castillo Usachi, a muy poca distancia a pie, y el terreno es agradable, así que el paisaje está bien. No desayunamos allí porque el desayuno en otro hotel era muy bueno y el personal era muy amable. Está a unos 30 minutos en coche del aeropuerto cuando hay poco tráfico. Todo en este pequeño pueblo es caro. Comimos comida china para el almuerzo y la cena en el restaurante Xingxing Hot Pot. Los precios también eran muy altos. Un plato de pimientos verdes con huevos costaba 580 liras, un plato de maocai (un tipo de estofado sichuanés) costaba 1200 liras, y un plato de fuqi feipian (un tipo de vísceras de res al estilo sichuanés) superaba las 1000 liras. Una botella de cerveza turca, como EEFES, en lata de aluminio costaba 450 liras. ¡Es carísimo!

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.. it's at ibrahimpasa, a quiet area outside of the main touristy areas of goreme and uchisar. We checked in easily, and we were immediately impressed by the rooms we booked (the deluxe cave suite with jacuzzi). We stayed in Room 404. After the first night, we informed the reception that our jacuzzi wasn't working, and they upgraded our room to the imperial cave suite with jacuzzi and fireplace. It was lovely and we appreciated the kind gesture. They also helped us with luggage as we moved rooms (to Room 401), and it was all a seamless experience despite the mild inconvenience. The rooms we stayed in were always warm even in winter, and we never found anything to be lacking. Just a note for light sleepers, Room 401 is along the stairs/walkway down to the lower levels, so if there guests who come back late at night and are loud, you will most definitely hear it! Breakfast selection was simple but sufficient, with an espresso coffee machine I really appreciated after drinking Turkish coffee for a week! A small note that the bathrooms often smelled a little bad, perhaps it's the sewage system. Not a big problem tho. It's barely noticeable. We rented a car and drove, so getting in and out of town was never a problem. Parking is available at the hotel, and is free, if you drive! The roads leading in to the hotel are a little narrow, so definitely not for non-confident drivers, but we found it ok. I don't really have photos of the room to share but rest assured the photos provided by the hotel are real and accurate.

La ubicación es muy conveniente, puedes caminar hasta el hotel en siete minutos desde la estación de autobuses. La recepcionista del personal al principio estaba bastante alegre. Más tarde, el resto del personal, especialmente un hombre, no sonrió mucho, pero al ver que le encantaban los perros de hojalata, pensé que no importaba. La habitación asignada era muy oscura y estaría en la planta baja. Fui al segundo o tercer piso. Será más luminoso. La calefacción era incómoda, así que les pedí que la apagaran. Aunque solo hacía mucho frío por la noche, no sentí frío por alguna razón. ¿Será porque los materiales de estas casas retienen el calor? Reservamos un paseo en globo aerostático y caminamos hasta la recepción temprano en la mañana para esperar al conductor. Vi al miembro del personal masculino durmiendo y sentí pena por despertarlo. Hay cuatro perros durmiendo con él en la cálida habitación, que se siente muy acogedora. Incluso si el miembro masculino del personal tiene mala cara, no importa. Hay cuatro perros, dos son grandes y dos son bebés. Pueden saltar sobre la arena como quieran. Se nota que la gente de aquí los trata bien. Si te gustan los perros y los gatos, este es el hotel indicado. Cuando regresamos, los perros salieron a recibirnos. Cabe mencionar que el desayuno aquí es bastante bueno. Debes saber que el desayuno general en Turquía es queso, queso y queso, mermelada, miel y mermelada, pan, pan largo, pan redondo, pan plano. Pero el desayuno buffet aquí tiene muchos estilos diferentes y el sabor es bastante bueno. Vi que lo preparaba una señora un poco gorda con sentimientos maternales. Lo más gratificante es que hay muchos gatos aquí para verte desayunar, claro que hay que ser sensato. . . Pero si no quieres que tu gato te vea desayunar, puedes entrar. El desayuno se sirve en la azotea, donde puedes ver los globos aerostáticos en el cielo. Lo inesperado es que los globos aerostáticos pueden estar tan cerca de las casas residenciales, ¡es realmente impresionante visualmente!

Our stay at Kistar Cave Hotel was nothing short of magical. Nestled in Uchisar, the surroundings are quiet and serene. The hotel offers amazing views of the surrounding caves and landscapes. We intentionally chose a location away from the bustle and Kistar proved to be the perfect retreat - peaceful and secluded, yet still conveniently close to Göreme for exploring. What truly sets Kistar apart is its exceptional hospitality. We were welcomed with genuine warmth that made us feel less like guests and more like family. Each morning began with an unforgettable breakfast lovingly prepared by the anneanneler (Nonnas). It was evident that every detail was crafted with care. From freshly churned yoghurt, an array of homemade jams, freshly baked breads, vibrant salads, and beautifully slow cooked vegetables. Every breakfast felt like a heartfelt feast, and we deeply appreciated the time and effort poured into each spread. Despite the winter chill outside, the rooms were well heated and comfortable. Even when temperatures dipped to zero degrees, we could relax indoors in just a t-shirt. An unexpected treat was to see the hot air balloons take off from our balcony. There are quite a few restaurants near the hotel - from local Turkish food to Asian and Italian. Kistar Cave Hotel is a family-owned gem, and staying here truly feels like being at home, away from home. The owners gave us lovely treats to bring home and we are so touched by their warmth and kindness. For those seeking tranquility, authentic hospitality, and a memorable Cappadocian experience, Kistar is the place to go to.

Servicio: El personal turco fue tan amable y atento como siempre, brindando una experiencia muy agradable. Instalaciones: Algunos aspectos dejaron que desear: el secador de pelo era mediocre, la conexión a internet era pésima (tanto el router como la banda ancha eran inestables) y la piscina climatizada estaba demasiado fría en invierno, lo que dificultaba nadar. Además, la ubicación era algo apartada y había demasiados pañuelos de papel y anuncios que promovían el ahorro de agua en las habitaciones.
