The room was very clean and comfortable, big enough to fit 2 large sized luggages and additional baggage.
Location is so convenient just opposite the Hakodate train station and bus station making it ideal for sightseeing around Hakodate. There are souvenir shops and a drugstore just beside the hotel.
It’s also just one street beside the Hakodate morning where you can hop over for fresh sashimi and uni. The Kanemori Red Brick Warehouses is just a walkable distance with plenty of restaurants to choose from.
The hotel bar is also nice and cosy with an amazing night view.

This was rather far away from the Sapporo station, I think it took me about 10-15 minutes to walk over with my luggage and all. With it being a hostel, there's not much to expect, you pretty much get what you paid for. Towels, shampoo, soap, toothbrush / toothpaste were provided. I only wished that the other travellers would turn off the lights when it's bedtime. Otherwise, the stay was pretty good and I had no other issues.

The hotel is strategically located near to metro station (walking distance) and yet it's not too near to the tourist spot as it will be too noisy at night. I can just walk an extra mile to reach the center of Hokkaido. There is also a beautiful park with children playground next to the hotel, and it looks amazing with snow!
The part I don't get used to initially was I have to pass the key to the lobby whenever I leave the hotel (I didn't ask much on the reason, I just accustomed to the practice). So far, they have been very helpful too! You can choose not to housekeep your room and they will offer you a free drink for that! But I still need them to housekeep my room everyday because we need the cleaner to clean the dustbin with diapers and tidy up the messy room with kid.
My experience was pretty good!

La'gent Stay Hakodate Ekimae provided an excellent base for exploring Hakodate. The location is unbeatable—it's incredibly close to JR Hakodate Station, the main bus terminal, and tram stops, making travel seamless.
The convenience continues right outside the door, with a variety of food options and a convenience store just steps away, perfect for any need.
The hotel's onsen was a true highlight. It was wonderfully relaxing and the perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The facilities were clean and well-maintained.
Combining prime location, great amenities, and a relaxing onsen, this hotel offers outstanding value. I highly recommend La'gent Stay Hakodate Ekimae and would not hesitate to book here again.

¡Para practicar snowboard!
Había más extranjeros que japoneses, pero todos siguieron las reglas básicas y tuvimos una estancia cómoda.
¡Fuimos a la estación de esquí de Furano en autobús!
¡Hay cestas para guardar alimentos, por lo que es cómodo para estancias largas! (Cuando les dije a los extranjeros en el ascensor que estaba en el Hostel Tomar, muchos de ellos dijeron que era un lugar cómodo).

They served public baths, payment of ¥500 per pax per visit which is super reasonable, cleaned laundry room, wonderful breakfast. Downside is the size of the rooms which are typical of all Japan hotels. Some restaurants McD Sukiya and Yoshinoya & Lawson are all situated nearby so it’s truly great choice for fams to stay. Saw many tourist groups arriving too so it might get busy at lobby. Overall it’s recommended

UUsuario invitadoGreat hotel in a nice & quiet location in Sapporo. I enjoyed the hotel and its well-equipped 24 hour gym. Front desk staff were friendly to my kids and even assisted us in booking a bigger taxi to Sapporo Station as we had big luggage in tow.
The hotel is well-appointed and trendy in design. The complimentary beverages which were replenished daily was a nice touch!
Definitely recommended in Sapporo! We will be back!

Our family stayed at Hotel Sosei Sapporo – MGallery Collection for 2 nights, booking 3 rooms, and the entire experience was exceptional. From the moment we arrived, every staff member — from the doormen to the front desk — greeted us with genuine warmth and professionalism. The service here truly stands out.
A very special shout-out to Naveen, who went above and beyond when I accidentally left my phone in an Uber. He took the time to communicate with Uber customer service in Japanese for nearly 20 minutes to help locate my phone. His patience, dedication, and kindness made all the difference, and we are deeply grateful.
The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was excellent — great variety and quality that the whole family enjoyed.
We had a wonderful stay and felt completely taken care of throughout.
Highly recommended, and we would not hesitate to return on our next trip to Sapporo!

YYi ShieanFrom the moment we arrived at Mizu no Uta, Tsuruga Resort at Lake Shikotsu, we were enveloped in an atmosphere of tranquil luxury. Valet parking greeted us, and we were swiftly escorted to a path lined with zen music, setting the tone for a stay where every detail exudes serenity.
Upon entering the reception, a majestic wooden carving of an owl, a powerful symbol of protection in Ainu culture, watched over us. In a delightful and intimate touch, we were asked to remove our shoes – a gesture that immediately made the resort feel like a sanctuary. Walking barefoot on soft wooden floors in such a refined environment felt like the ultimate indulgence.
Live harp music floated through the air as we were led past a live fireplace, its warm flames inviting guests to roast marshmallows, adding a whimsical, yet homely feel to the elegant surroundings. The staff, attentive yet discreet, escorted us to our room via separate lifts, ensuring our luggage was seamlessly handled.
Entering the room, we were struck by its sheer spaciousness. A half-sized fridge, thoughtfully included, perfectly stored all our chilled treats from the road trip. But the true star was the view: an uninterrupted panorama of lush greenery, stretching out to meet the serene waters of Lake Shikotsu. The combination of the stunning scenery and the luxurious in-room robe made us feel like chaebols, lounging in opulence and shielded from the cool lakeside breeze.
As for the dining, the buffet at Mizu no Uta is nothing short of spectacular. Where many buffets struggle to balance quantity and quality, this resort excels at both. Highlights included a live dessert station and a live pizza-making corner, where thin-crust pizzas, surprisingly better than those from Furano’s famed Cheese Factory, were expertly prepared. The spread also featured an incredible assortment of sashimi – the freshest I encountered during my 1.5-week trip across various hotels. The salmon and mackerel, both raw and uniquely marinated in glass jars, were exceptional.
The hot dishes maintained the same elevated standard. A simple tomato-based clam spaghetti was transformed by the quality of ingredients, while even the sautéed kailan was enhanced with the addition of Parma ham. Local produce, such as the fresh broccoli used in the cream-based dishes, lent an unmistakable brightness to each bite. The combination of Japanese and Western cuisine was balanced beautifully, with every plate delivering a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship.
Of course, no stay at a lakeside resort would be complete without a visit to the onsen bath. While slightly smaller than the one at Lake Akan, the onsen here is far superior in cleanliness and upkeep. Conveniently, the bath is stocked with towels, so there’s no need to carry your own from the room. The experience is further enhanced by a sauna illuminated with soothing blue light, adding a layer of tranquility to the ritual. The open-air onsen is another highlight.
For those who appreciate the purity of nature, the bath even features drinkable Lake Shikotsu water, renowned as one of Japan’s top 100 spring waters. This thoughtful touch, coupled with the stunning views, creates an immersive experience that is equal parts restorative and luxurious.

El servicio de comida y bebidas fue caliente y atento, mejorando la experiencia de comer en general. Además, el departamento de mantenimiento de la casa ha hecho un trabajo fantástico para mantener nuestra habitación limpia y acondicionada.

YYizhouEs un hotel muy nuevo. Las habitaciones son de colores brillantes. Lo más destacado del hotel es que el baño público cuenta con aguas termales naturales, tanto interiores como exteriores, lo que puede brindar a los huéspedes una experiencia diferente. La zona de descanso fuera del baño es amplia y cómoda, pudiendo incluso comprar cosas por cuenta propia. A la mañana siguiente fuimos al mercado de mariscos y volvimos después de las once, por lo que no recibimos la llamada recordatoria de recepción y llegamos más de media hora tarde para el check-out. La chica taiwanesa de recepción habló por teléfono con el supervisor y finalmente no nos cobró dinero extra, lo cual fue toda una suerte.

Located just a pleasant 20-minute drive from Otaru Station, the hotel is nestled in a tranquil, private area that feels like stepping into a captivating wonderland. I was delighted to discover a bus stop right across from the hotel, making it effortlessly convenient to explore the surroundings.
From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly by name, and they were incredibly helpful with our luggage. Taking off our shoes upon entering the hotel created a feeling of comfort and cleanliness that made us feel right at home. After a smooth check-in process, during which they confirmed our breakfast time, the staff graciously guided us through the hotel, sharing helpful information about opening hours for various amenities.
Our room was beautifully adorned in traditional Japanese style, complete with an open-air bath. Enjoying this serene experience during the winter was simply magical! We also savored a delectable Kaiseki dinner in our room, which was not only a feast for our taste buds but also left us delightfully satisfied.
The onsens were a real highlight, featuring an adjacent sauna. With daily alternating access for women and men every other day, we were able to enjoy both during our stay. Families will find this hotel exceptionally accommodating, thanks to its variety of playrooms and relaxation spaces catering to guests of all ages. Plus, the complimentary refreshments and bar in the lobby until 10 PM added a lovely touch to our experience.
Breakfast was a true delight, with a peaceful view of the snow outside the restaurant, enhancing the serene atmosphere.
On our departure day, the hotel thoughtfully arranged a shuttle bus to take us to the JR station, making our exit seamless and convenient.
Looking back, our only regret is that we stayed just one night—I can't wait to return and immerse myself in a different season's beauty. This hotel is now firmly on my list for future visits, and I’m already looking forward to the next adventure!

MMobiusARAl principio, disfrutamos de una maravillosa estancia de una noche, que se convirtió en dos debido a un cambio de itinerario. El hotel es privado y tranquilo. Perfecto para relajarse con la esteticista del hotel y con acceso directo a los baños. Aunque no hay pesas, el equipo del gimnasio es nuevo y está bien mantenido, con suficiente para ejercitar la mayoría de los grupos musculares. Las habitaciones son muy limpias y lujosas. El desayuno era abundante. Me alojaría de nuevo si necesito alojarme cerca del aeropuerto de Chitose una o dos noches.

PPARAMEEMuy nuevo hotel. Uno de los más amables y acogedores personales que he conocido. La habitación es espaciosa, nueva y muy limpia. La cena es media, pero el desayuno es tan bueno. MmaxhooSe trata de un hotel de cadena relativamente clásico, con un estilo europeo y un interior espléndido. Cuenta con todas las comodidades que cabría esperar, así que no entraré en detalles. Las principales deficiencias son:
1. Servicio. El encargado de recepción del hotel era un extranjero bastante distante, rubio y de ojos azules. El personal japonés, en cambio, fue muy amable.
2. Las aguas termales. Está bastante lejos del edificio principal y abre parte de la mañana y parte de la tarde, cerrando solo a las 9:30. La prohibición de tatuajes es prácticamente absurda. Esa noche, un grupo de taiwaneses alborotadores, incluyendo uno con un tatuaje, estaba armando un alboroto en las aguas termales.
3. Está bastante lejos del pueblo termal principal y del muelle del lago Toya. Se encuentra en la cima de una colina cercana, a 10 minutos en coche. Esperábamos ver los fuegos artificiales del lago Toya desde nuestra habitación, pero era una vista lejana.
4. Las opciones gastronómicas del hotel son limitadas. Hay dos restaurantes japoneses y una pizzería. El bar suele cerrar a las 23:00 o 23:30.
En general, es un buen lugar para una escapada de unos días, con opciones para jugar al golf y disfrutar de aguas termales, todo en la montaña. No es adecuado para una excursión al lago Toya con registro, principalmente por su incomodidad.
