Personal amigable, ubicación fantástica, ...el aire acondicionado hizo un constante alto buzzing no parada ....aún cuando se desconectó ....y cada pocas horas la TV se apagaría por un segundo de alimentación ......so no dormir básicamente, lo informó pero se le dijo ...o'dear disculpa a oye que ...that was it .....shall not be returning

Clean hotel with cheerful staff and a comfortable large bed. Lovely Dove soap, shampoo and shower gel provided. Hairdryer, tea and coffee supplies, decent size TV with good signal and plenty of electrical sockets each with 2 usb ports. Roomy powerful shower and 2 bath and 2 hand towels (some hotels only provide one hand towel for 2 occupants). Aircon which was nice in the warm weather. Lifts to all floors. Bar in reception area. Lots of choice at breakfast: 4 fruit juices, multiple tea and coffee varieties, croissants, rolls, white and brown breads (toaster too), croissants, pastries, yoghurt, compote, cereals, sausages, bacon, hash browns, tomatoes, beans and scrambled eggs. They are also happy to store luggage before check-in time and after checkout. A couple of minutes walk from the train station. Car park (payable - although you get first 20 mins without charge if for example you're being dropped off). What's not to love!

Achterstallig onderhoud en zeer plakkerige lift. We kregen een kamer mat twee ramen waar je niet door naar buiten kon kijken (matglas) Het ontbijt was redelijk ondanks dat veel eten er niet was (niet geleverd) of je kon wel iets extras (worstjes, ei ect) bestellen met bijbetaling.

La primera impresión fue que necesitaba una reforma, se veía desgastado y pegajoso al tacto. La habitación era grande pero básica, sin ducha, pero se podía pasar por alto. El barrio está bien para ir a bares, discotecas y restaurantes. Además, hay aparcamiento gratuito en una plaza. Sin embargo, a medianoche empezó la fiesta; el ruido exterior era horrible: gritos y palabrotas. No dormimos desde la medianoche hasta las cinco de la mañana. Luego, un perro lloró y alguien intentó usar una caja fuerte con llave haciendo un ruido muy fuerte. Intenté bañarme por la mañana; el agua estaba muy caliente, pero salía fría como un chorrito. Tuve que usar la tetera para filtrar el agua fría del lavabo. Lo bueno es que la ropa de cama era preciosa y la habitación era cálida y cómoda. Pero, por desgracia, no volveré. Sin duda, reservaré otra opción.

Service was nice, the room sadly was a bit dated, wallpaper peeling on the walls and the rust spots in the enamel of the bath was not good. There was a smell outside the entrance of sewage treatment. The room served its purpose as a place to sleep but as an experience rating it’s a flatline from me. The place needs a bit of TLC.

We had a wonderful stay here previously and so returned for a night. This time it wasn't quite as pleasant. The toilet seat in the bathroom had a big crack in the lid and was more than just loose in the sense that it almost came off when sat on. The shower curtain was mouldy and uncleaned mirrors and cobwebs. The staff were all very pleasant and the bar and restaurant area were lovely. I did use the toilets at the bar. One was taken and the other 2 cubicles were soiled so maybe not checked as often as required. Overall the room was warm and there was lots of storage space and a nice big bed. It wasn't unpleasant although I'd not be as keen to return again as I was last time.

All the staff were friendly efficient and very helpful. The room was very clean spacious and beautifully decorated in keeping with the age of building yet and uncluttered contemporary feel. Room temperature was controllable and the provisions, TV etc. of excellent quality. Next time we would look to have dinner there as the breakfast restaurant was of the same excellent standard with everything beautifully cooked fresh, hot and well presented. We were able to park and this plus the location in Stamford made the stay very relaxing and enjoyable. A big thank you to Toni on reception who was very helpful and friendly.
