The location of the hotel is great, as you walk out of th rear of the hotel straight onto the shingle beach. There were plenty of sunbeds available still at noon and should they all be used/reserved, then there were plentry stacked up on the sides, so you could grab one and plop it on the beach somehere. You could etiher pop up to the pool bar to get drinks or there were staff wondering through the beds and you could order them straight to your bed. The sea was crystal clear, but beach/sea shoes are advised due to the pebbles/rocks underfoot. There was a watersports hut next door on the beach, where you could hire boats, paddleboards, donots, jet ski's etc. We cannot comment on the pool as we did ot use it, as looked a tad shady for us and we would prefer the sea. The hotel is a 10 min walk (slightly longer for us as I walk very slow) to the village. We were expecting a small village judging previous reviews, but IMO it was a small town rather than village. It had plenty of shops, places to eat and drink and really came alive after 6pm. The staff at the hotel are amazing and so hard working and go out of their way to to help. The pool/beach towel hire service was great and saved on additional luggage. Just a 10 euro deposit per towel and returned upon leaving. YOu could change the towels as often as you liked. The grounds of the hotel were lovely as was the Reception area. Ok, now the not so good bits.......... It is NOT 5 star! We wanted location (which we got) and luxury (which we did not get). I have stayed in Greece before and it was on par with a 3 star hotel, definately not a 4 or above. The reasons I state this is that the hotel website boasts it has a spa, nightclub and is ultra all inclusive. Neither of these is correct. There is no spa or nightclub and definately not ultra all inclusive. The mini bar in room was only filled with alcohlic drinks one (which I had to ask twice for on arrival), the snacks were only cake/bread, not good if you are gluten and sugar intolerant like myself, there was no frut on offer as snacks, only at main meal times and the hotel make it clear that you are NOT allowed to remove ANY food from the restaurant. The food in general was mediocre, with al the protien ( plain meat and fish well over cooked and dry) and of 3 star quality and rather repetative. We made it our decision to eat out towards the end of the week. The boiled eggs at breakfast were a lifesaver though. Tui state it has a bar and cafe, but the only one availabe is the pool bar. They also state they have bicycle hire, which they do not. There is no TV lounge either as stated. In additin to this, the rooms (we had 323) were tired, with furniture scratched/worn. The fixed shower head was full of limescale/rust. I don;t even want to think about the bedspread, as these clearly weren't changed/laundered inbetween guest stays. Based on our stay, if we had paid for 3 star, we would have been pleased as that is what it is. To pay what we paid

1) El hotel es nuevo con excelentes habitaciones y tiene excelentes espacios al aire libre y interior. 2) Le di 4 en lugar de 5 a la ubicación porque el mar delante del hotel tiene rocas y es muy nublado. Cuando digo rocas, quiero decir muchas rocas, pequeñas, grandes y agudas. En una palabra, el mar es malo. 3) Le di 4 en lugar de 5 al servicio porque no estaba informado en el check-in sobre las rocas agudas. Me cortaron mal por las rocas. Sólo puedes nadar con zapatos de playa. 4) En el restaurante del hotel, comimos pizza con champiñones. La pizza no se comió. Inaceitable para un hotel 5*. El hotel dispone de playas cerca de la ciudad, a unos 500 metros de distancia, que puedes ir con tu coche. El desayuno es fantástico. ¿Volvería al hotel? Claro que sí. Nadaré en las playas cercanas y comer en el pueblo de Ierissos. Es un excelente hotel, pero un poco caro.

Grande hotel. Excelente tamaño y calidad de la habitación para Grecia. Situación sobre la playa fantástico. Excelente zona de piscina. Gimnasio está bien. Viva y hija usaba el spa y disfrutó. El desayuno fue bueno y pagado para comer en Veranda en el sitio una noche y vale bien la pena. El personal es muy especial, pero también se trata de un pequeño Alex de Maria y de su madre, que limpió la habitación con un estándar excepcional. El baño con ducha en el cuarto requería un paso alto que no nos molestó pero puede preocupar a alguien menos móvil y el rayo en el cuarto podría haber sido un poco más brillante.

El hotel de la ciudad de Alexandros fue el lugar ideal para mí. La habitación es muy agradable, pero no es muy agradable. La playa está a 40 metros de la ciudad. No me di cuenta :) (sólo dije que estaba cerca) Hay un camino a pie y es seguro. Hay un bar de playa que ofrece bebidas y todo lo que necesitas y un bar de cocina profesional que grillará carne, hamburguesas y todo. Restaurante del Hotel: La comida era agradable, a veces puede ser llena, recomendaría ir allí un poco más tarde. Desayuno: Vivo en el Reino Unido, por lo tanto, encontrar huevos de bacon y lo que no es realmente lo mejor. Sin embargo, realmente tienen todo. El hotel es un hotel muy interesante en una pequeña colina, rodeado de verdes terrazas que miran el mar. Tenemos una habitación de piso porque vinimos con un bebé de 22 meses. Los camareros son muy amables y fueron muy comprensivos para nuestro bebé desnudo. Besos especiales a NIKOS que era especialmente amable para nosotros. La comida es excelente y muy variada! ¡Tienes helado todo el día! Hay siempre un montón de frutas y diferentes tortas, incluso dulces hechos de cerrias y figos. Muchas saladas, muchas jamadas, miel. Diversos tipos de café todo el día! Los cocktails son maravillosos! ¡Varios tipos de carne diariamente, pescado diariamente. ¡También había camarones! Varios tipos de pan, diferentes tipos de jugos! ¡Qué agradable atmósfera en la piscina y hermosamente arreglado exterior, para un verdadero placer! La playa es de arena, el mar es limpio, tranquilo y tranquilo en la playa, el único acceso a la playa es estrecho. El hotel dispone de numerosas terrazas, barrios y esquinas para descansar fuera de la habitación. La terraza del restaurante es como en una historia de fiestas, puede ver el mar en un ángulo de alrededor de 270⁰. Bianco Olimpico, gracias. ¡Eres maravilloso, BRAVO!

T&J room 227 May 2024 This hotel is only 3 years old and is now under new management since March 2024, so the earlier poor reviews should not put you off from staying at this excellent hotel. We would highly recommend staying here, we’d love to visit again. Upon arrival we were shown round the hotel by Dimitra and then taken to our room where there was a complementary bottle of wine, some baklava and water, a nice touch. All the staff were super helpful, very friendly and always had smiles on the faces. Big shout out to lobby bar and the pool bar staff! All young, all spoke English (shame on us for not speaking another language) and were very attentive. We had lunch most days at the pool bar. We had no issues getting sunbeds by the main pool (big!) but this was only the third week of the season. However, based on the number of sunbeds and shades around all the pools and along the beach I don’t think there will be any issues in high season. The beach is superb and the sea crystal clear. Bit rocky walking out to the sea but worth it to have a swim. Regarding food, there is an al a carte restaurant which is not part of the half board, so need to pay to dine there, we had lunch one day there. The food was excellent, but a bit too expensive for us to dine there every day. The half board buffet dinner had lots of variations every day, keeping it interesting and very tasty. The staff was always helpful and ready to resolve any issues and make your stay as amazing as possible. Breakfast was the normal for a buffet style and with plenty of choice. Special mention to George, the F&B manager who was an excellent host, friendly and sorted out a small issue we had straight away. The location is quite remote, with the village of Nikiti 5km away and the other village 16km. So long walk to Nikiti or a 10 Euro taxi ride each way. We did not visit the village. On reflection we should have hired a car from the airport, rather than a taxi transfer to the hotel as it would have been cheaper and giving is more flexibility to explore outside of the hotel. We have been lucky enough to stay at some excellent 5* hotels in the past and would put this hotel right up there with them. All in all we had a fantastic 8 nights at Ammoa Luxury Hotel and Spa and look forward to staying there again, sometime in the future.
