This is actually my third time staying at New Dawn Pensionne House in Cagayan de Oro, mainly because of its convenient location and affordable rates. The hotel is well-located near malls, restaurants, and other establishments. If you need personal items, Watsons is also nearby, which is very convenient. However, during my stay I noticed that the Wi-Fi inside the room was very slow. I also tried switching to mobile data, but the signal inside the room was still weak. I even had to step outside the room just to get a stronger signal. Considering that Cagayan de Oro already has 5G network coverage, it was surprising that the signal could barely reach inside the room. Another thing to note is that the room does not provide free toiletries like shampoo, toothbrush, or toothpaste, so you need to buy them outside if you forget to bring your own. There was also confusion about the check-out time. The booking app indicated that check-out was 2:00 PM, but the hotel informed us that the check-out time is 12:00 PM. The staff even knocked on the door and called the room before the 2:00 PM check-out time stated in the app, which was a bit inconvenient. ✅ Pros - Convenient location near malls and stores - Affordable place to stay - Nearby convenience stores and Watsons ⚠️ Cons - Very slow Wi-Fi inside the room - Weak mobile signal inside the room -No free toiletries (shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste) - Confusion with check-out time ⭐ Overall: Since this is already my third stay, the hotel is still a practical choice because of its location and price. However, improvements in Wi-Fi, signal reception, and clearer check-out policies would greatly improve the guest experience.

Overall, the hotel was pretty good for the price. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room had hot water, which was nice. The room had no window, but it was okay for a short stay. It was a bit funny that the door didn’t really close properly, but honestly it didn’t bother me much. In general, a decent place to stay in Cagayan de Oro. Sa pangkalahatan, okay naman ang hotel para sa presyo nito. Mabait at matulungin ang staff, at may mainit na tubig ang kuwarto na malaking plus. Wala lang bintana ang kuwarto, pero ayos lang para sa maikling pananatili. Medyo nakakatawa lang na hindi masyadong nagsasara nang maayos ang pinto, pero hindi naman ito naging malaking problema para sa akin. Sa kabuuan, maayos naman itong matuluyan sa Cagayan de Oro.

Me sorprendió que no hubiese galletas de desayuno Filipino - tocino, longanisa, e incluso spam. El menú de desayuno necesita ser revisado.

La habitación es muy limpia, moderna, la cama muy cómoda, el aeródromo viejo estilo agujero en la pared montado pero bien, y la tarjeta clave que también gira en el poder. Después de que el mal desayuno de rap se ha llegado, nos asegurámos de que nos fuimos temprano (al principio al 6.00am), y fue más que satisfactorio. Dos personal trataron de asegurarnos de que estabamos felices ... probablemente como consecuencia de las malas críticas. Lavandería comercial muy eficiente, muy útil en el piso de la planta, donde se puede lavar y secar dos bolsas llenas de ropa para 260 pesos. Un par de cuestiones menores que habíamos abordado se trataron inmediatamente. Situado en el centro de la ciudad, a 5 minutos a pie de varios centros comerciales. CONS: Trip.com no le advierte que tendrá que pagar 2000 pesos reembolsables al llegar.

Очень понравилось это место! Персонал невероятно дружелюбный и всегда готов помочь в любой ситуации — отдельное спасибо за отзывчивость и тёплое отношение. Завтраки были очень вкусные, а еда в столовой — недорогая и качественная, поэтому почти всегда питались именно там. Также удобно, что всё находится рядом. Из минусов — на всей территории отеля не работал Wi-Fi, поэтому приходилось пользоваться своими сим-картами. В остальном отдых оставил только приятные впечатления)) спасибо

The staff at the hotel were very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable environment. Our first room had issues with the AC, but the staff promptly addressed the problem by moving us to another room, which we appreciated. The location, however, is not very convenient as it is a bit far from the city center. Dining options nearby are limited, with no decent restaurants within walking distance. On the positive side, motorbike and car rentals are available, and the companies will deliver the vehicles directly to the hotel. The staff also assist in contacting these rental providers.

I travelled with my husband and our toddler. The room is spacious enough for a family of 3. The hotel staff was kind enough to allow early check-in since we arrived at Ozamis City earlier than expected and are just expecting to stay for the night to catch an early flight the following day. I could say this hotel is good for budget travelers and perfect if you want to stroll around the city, there are also many food choices in the surrounding blocks. The room's cleanliness is not superb, though we already managed our expectations since it is a budget hotel. It's just 10mins away from Ozamis airport by the way. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. 🥰
