1A Express Hotel

Location between 2 malls within walking distance. Food easy to find. Laundry service practical. There is a proper desk and chair for night time work on laptop is practical. But windows soundproofing minimal. can hear outside road noises, cars and bikes zipping pass. I stay in suite 1. spacious. but water heaters takes awhile to heat up the water when showering. Wifi will intermittently cutoff. Thus need to reconnect multiple times.

Room was comfortable but dated. Its right on the main street so noise can be a factor if you're a light sleeper. Breakfast was a waste. Go eat elsewhere. Lots of options nearby

Excellent stay! The room was spotless, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the service exceeded our expectations. We felt comfortable from check-in to check-out. Highly recommended!

1A Express is a go-to of mine when I have business trips to Cagayan de Oro. It's conveniently located in between SM CDO Downtwon and Ayala Centrio, while still being only a 10 minute walk to Lim Ket Kai. The room is clean and has comfy beds. The bathroom has a hose-bidet. The breakfast is a small buffet with limited options but for the price you pay for, it's nothing to complain about.

The room size is okay for its prize. The service was not that good.

Located at the city center. Spacious clean rooms. Breakfast is great. Value for money!

Excellent location, besides SM mall. Rooms still acceptable.

Nice new hotel. The menus are changed every day. So it is not boring to have the same breakfast every day. 😊

Very clean, modernised rooms, bed very comfortable, aircon old style hole in the wall mounted but okay, and key card which also turns on the power. Unfortunately, fridge and aircon go off too when you go out. After the bad rap breakfast has been getting, we made sure we went early (soon after opening at 6.00am), and it was more than satisfactory. Two staff were trying very hard to make sure we were happy... probably as a consequence of the bad reviews. Front desk very efficient, very handy commercial laundromat on ground floor where you can wash and dry two suitcases full of clothes for 260 pesos. A couple of minor issues we had were dealt with straight away. Very central location with a 5 minute walk to several shopping malls. CONS: Trip.com does not warn you that you will have to pay 2000 peso refundable deposit when you arrive.
