I recently stayed 9h Nine Hours in Nagoya and had a pleasant experience overall. One of the biggest advantages of this hostel is its excellent location. It is conveniently located near Nagoya Station, making it easy to travel around the city and to other destinations. There are also plenty of cafes, restaurants, and convenience stores nearby, which made my stay even more convenient. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The sleeping pods are located on a different floor from the shower area, changing room, and luggage storage. On the positive side, this setup helps keep the sleeping area quiet and comfortable. I was able to rest well every night without being disturbed by noise. However, the separation of the facilities can be a little inconvenient. If you forget something in your luggage or need to grab an item, you have to take the elevator and move between floors. In addition, the shower and grooming area can get quite crowded during peak hours, especially in the early morning and late evening. At those times, you may need to wait for a shower, hair dryer, or space to get ready. Despite these minor inconveniences, I really enjoyed my stay. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well-organized, and I would happily stay here again when visiting Nagoya.

Aunque no se proporciona agua en botella, es conveniente comprar desde la cercana tienda de Siete Eleven o Aeon. The location if near subway gate and big street, also has convenience store nearby so it’s very good. It’s under renovation when I came but the undergoing work didn’t disturb guests at all. The room is kind of small for single type but it was very comfortable because they provided smart tv, which I could connect to my Netflix and Youtube account, small refrigerator for my drinks, air conditioner and bathroom. Since my room is the farthest from elevator and it was right in the corner side, I got to have big bathroom with shower stand and closet. The room also has so many electrical outlets so you don’t have to worry about charging your phones (if you have more than 1 phone like me), your power banks, your smart watches, and you still can use their provided hair dryer as well! The hotel also provides vending machines for cup ramen and also drinks so you don’t have to worry about starving or dehydrating. So far, it’s best and very money value for solo traveler like me! Would like to stay here again next time!!

The best choice for a budget solo traveler. It offers free unlimited drinks all day, unlimited curry with rice for breakfast, unlimited fresh ramen noodles at night, and free alcoholic drinks in the evening. There is a lounge on the 11th floor, a public bath with a hot pool and sauna, and free shampoo, body soap, conditioner, hair gel, hair spray, and face and body lotion. It also provides free toothbrushes and razors. The locker fits a 20kg size luggage if not, you can put it at the large luggage compartment and ask for chain with lock at the lobby. There are coin washing machines and dryers available as well. Heads up to those with tattoos: this hotel only has a public bath, and tattoos are not allowed.

Small room with small double bed, can only have 1 large suitcase open at any one time. First room I was given had stale cigarette smell but staff was quick to allow me to change room. Free buffet breakfast and it was simple yet delicious, very happy with the breakfast. Staff is very friendly and helpful, some speak simple English and some barely but nothing that Google Translate cannot fix. Only gripe is location, takes about 20mins to the train station, a real killer when trying to navigate with your luggage in the dark with no street lamps on uneven roads (took about 30min with luggage). It’s next to a daiso (closes at 9pm) and 2 eateries that close at 2am, and a minimart further down the road so that’s pretty convenient. But other than that, nothing much else during the long walk from/to the train station.

I initially thought I had booked a regular room, but it turned out to be a dormitory-style capsule instead. If you’re traveling light, this place may suit you, but there isn’t much space to store luggage. There’s no locker or safe provided. Amenities are not complimentary, each item, including bottled water, costs 100 yen. Upon checkout, you’re required to remove the bedsheet and pillowcase yourself. Also, note that the showers are only available until 10:30 pm. Personally, I found the place unsuitable for my needs and decided to move to another proper hotel nearby. One more thing to be aware of: the property is located near a temple, and the surrounding area has no streetlights at night. Walking back via that route can feel quite eerie, so it’s safer to stick to the main road along the river.

Casualmente estuve allí durante el Festival de Cultura Japonesa, y muchos hoteles de cadena estaban completos 😩. Vi un hotel de negocios en la página web, así que lo reservé encantada, ¡poniendo fin a mi viaje con tres noches! Para ser sincera… me quedé un poco sorprendida al registrarme y ver la habitación 🙄. El ambiente no era muy bueno, y solo había un baño compartido (me preocupaba tener que usar el baño de fuera en mitad de la noche). Me arrepentí un poco 🥺. Pero al día siguiente… me acostumbré. La ubicación es muy buena, cerca de la estación de metro, y hay muchos restaurantes en los alrededores. Lo más importante… el último día pude tomar el Meitetsu Express directamente al aeropuerto ✈️. ¡Eso fue una gran ventaja! Los dueños (ambos chinos) fueron muy amables, así que la comunicación no fue un problema. Comodidad y precio asequible… Si solo necesitas un lugar para dormir por la noche, es una muy buena opción. Realmente es una buena opción.

On the first night the water in the rooms was not working. It is extremely close to train station and thus can get very noisy, but it was a worthy trade off for convenience.
