We have a 1 night stay at Midgard Camp during our 9 days road trip in Iceland. It is our 2nd stop hotel of our trip. Though the room are not big, but it is comfortable, good and cosy enough for all. The family rooms comes with 1 double bed plus 1 bunk bed enough for all 4 of us. The whole place is very vibrant, friendly staff, nicely decorated and energetic yet peaceful and quiet for individual enjoyment. The whole place is very well maintained and It is very clean even the common toilet as I bathe there to avoid waiting for our private toilet to save some time. The common kitchen is for all guests and is well equipped. We cooked our hot meal as well as breakfast there. We can also enjoy the complementary coffee/tea from the hotel paid breakfast. Overall, We enjoy our stay there even though it is just 1 night. The location is easily found with the GPS, you wouldn't miss it. Highly recommended this place. Also, really appreciate the friendly staff giving us a round tour of the place explaining where are the common toilet, hot bathe tub, dryer for our swim wear should we use the hot bathe tub and sauna. This is indeed exceed our expectation actually. 10/10!

Las cuatro chicas quedamos en esta habitación juntos. El cuarto es muy limpio y hay cocina que puede cocinar por sí misma. Aunque no hay desayuno, hay café gratis, leche y dulces que se sientan muy intimados. El personal de servicio también es muy amable, la experiencia de alojamiento en general es buena y la práctica económica de precios es muy recomendada para los pasajeros.

Estructura muy bonita, limpia, ordenada y hay todo lo necesario. ¡Dispone de cocina y dos baños. La estancia fue muy bonita, por suerte teníamos cerca de habitaciones super amigables 😊 extra recomendado!

La habitación era pequeña pero adecuada. El baño era demasiado pequeño, con un lavabo diminuto. No había jabón ni champú. La cortina de la ducha estaba mohosa en la parte inferior. Había una tetera compartida por las cuatro habitaciones de nuestro edificio, pero no había café, solo azúcar. El restaurante estaba genial para cenar, pero el desayuno incluido era pobre. Nos dieron una bandeja con platos preseleccionados. El cruasán y el café estaban excelentes. Pasé de la avena y el pan de avena, lo que dejó un desayuno continental ligero. Mala relación calidad-precio en comparación con otras casas de huéspedes que encontramos en Islandia.

La habitación estaba limpia y la cocina tenía dos fregaderos que funcionaban bien. La desventaja fue que no había papel higiénico en el baño y no lo reponían, el cubo de basura de la cocina no estaba vacío y la cerradura de la puerta de un baño estaba rota.

When You Have tours that begin to the glaciers, You don’t Have always the Time neither the budget to pay for an hôtel situated far from the glacier. This guess House is Perfect to be close to the glacier. Clean. Offers all accointances. The only thing to improve is the sounds that We hear easily dépending on the guests. But the staff make sure everyone stays calm. Thé breakfast is as good as one in an hôtel.

Check in and accommodation is not the same location and is about few KM away and the Waze is not really accurate to arrive at reception we stop and asked a villager. At the same time reception also a restaurant. The parking space is very dare at night, actually the whole building also looks dark because we arrived in dark due to locate for the check in place. Other than that everything is good in the room and also in the share kitchen

Super location, the personal was super kind and leaves me everything with a super explanation I’ve Been very gratefull with find a warm place in the middle of the cold. Very near yo Diamond beach and the glaciar

It’s a self check in guesthouse however we didn’t receive any information prior to check in day. Able to contact Trip.com for assistance as there’s no reception counter in the guesthouse. We booked a shared bathroom room and it’s very troublesome as there’s only one bathroom available to share with 5 guest rooms. However there’s a kitchen and you can use it while staying here, just clean it after use.

服務沒給滿分是因為自助入住的，沒有任何現場服務，電話和郵件聯繫還是很順暢的。。 沒想到酒店就在XHS網紅龍蝦店對面，非常乾淨，脱鞋進屋，很安靜，雖然滿員但客人們聲音都很小，共享衞生間沒想到這麼乾淨，看來住客素質都很高，我們也很自己的清理了早餐用過的廚房，這種感覺很好。
