Disfrutamos de una agradable estancia de una noche en el ala boutique, recién renovada, que habíamos solicitado. El hotel estaba en plena reforma, así que esperábamos algún contratiempo, pero no hubo ninguno. Nuestra habitación era pequeña pero estaba recién amueblada, con una cama muy cómoda y comodidades elegantes como un gran televisor Samsung, cafetera, altavoces Marshall y artículos de aseo L'Occitane. Esperábamos vistas a la ciudad y al fiordo en lugar de a las fortificaciones de la colina de atrás. Aun así, disfrutamos de la nueva fachada del hotel, el ambiente acogedor del salón de cócteles del vestíbulo y la facilidad de aparcamiento gratuito en la entrada. Para desayunar hay que caminar hasta el edificio anexo contiguo, pero el vestíbulo tenía amplios asientos y muchas opciones para un buen desayuno escandinavo. El aeropuerto está a 5 minutos en coche, y el centro de la ciudad y el paseo marítimo a 5 minutos a pie. Una base muy bien renovada para Akureykri y el norte de Islandia.

This hotel did a great job overall! The location is perfect — 5/5, couldn’t ask for better. Cleanliness, service, and facilities all scored 4/5, which means there's still a bit of room for improvement, but nothing major. It’s a solid choice for a family trip — comfortable, convenient, and reliable. A few more thoughtful touches would make it exceptional! 👍

Our lake-view ensuite mini-cabin was great for our 1 night stay at Myvatn, with sufficient parking space, clean geothermal shower and use of shared kitchen and lounge (even common BBQ grill) attached to our 4 mini-cabin cluster. We only wished there is a dustbin in our room (not just the toilet bin). Loved its quiet lakefront location with the Dimmuborgir lava fields and Hverfell crater just behind it. Continental breakfast spread was great with local specialities and waffles. Tip: Walk along the lake path outside the guesthouse at sunset. Myvatn nature baths are also less than 5-min drive away. There are plenty of midges in summer and while they were a minor bother and do not bite, just remember not to open the windows without the blinds in the warmer afternoons or evenings.

El hotel no puede ser considerado responsable de la estupidez humana y del comportamiento antisocial como la trampa de la puerta, el habla alto y el riso en los corredores. Lamentablemente, este comportamiento puede ocurrir en cualquier momento y en cualquier lugar, pero una puerta de entrada que se mueve tan fuerte cada vez que todo el hotel debe oírlo y siempre se está estrangulado de su sueño es simplemente inaceptable. La noche del día, el hotel de la ciudad de San Francisco se ha convertido en un hotel de 3 estrellas. En total, esta fue la peor y más nerviosa alojamiento de nuestra visita 15-day Islandia hasta ahora.

A great stay in the farm house. We stayed there for two nights. It was only 5km away from husavik where we joined the whale watching tour. We had our breakfast at 8am and managed to arrive the whale watching centre at 9:05am. The view from the farm house was really nice (the sea and the snow mountains). Staff was nice. We could use the kitchen for lunch and dinner. They’ve got utensils and pots and bowls. And microwave and oven. Basically everything you need. The dog was cute. We also joined an icelandic horse riding session there. It was amazing. The girl was friendly,experienced and helpful. Breakfast was simple and the croissant was delicious. Room was much better then we expected. More and less like a hotel room. We enjoyed staying there very much.

The apartment was spotlessly clean, and the bed in the bedroom was incredibly comfortable. The overall layout is simple yet cozy. The sofa can also be used as a fold-out bed, and the kitchen, fridge, and other facilities are perfect for travelers visiting Iceland. We are locals living in Iceland, and this stay has been an amazing experience. Highly recommended to everyone! This is definitely the most comfortable apartment-style hotel in Akureyri, and it’s within walking distance to many must-visit spots nearby. Truly a perfect stay❤️

Amazing hotel. Reception provides bathrobes for the hot tubs. The rooms are very spacious and the hotel provides aurora night calls. One of the best hotels we stayed in Iceland.

Was frustrated and felt cheated on when I saw on booking for the whole summer a price per night of 250/330 € when I paid almost 400usd for each night via booking Because I booked a few months back ? I never faced such difference Was it trip.com taking a huge margin ? First time I use trip, a really bad experience Guesthouse is nice but it’s close to a hostel, simple and shared toilets/ahowers, a few chairs to sit in the kitchen. For that price it’s just out of range

I had a wonderful stay near Goðafoss—just a 2-minute walk from the waterfall, which was absolutely breathtaking. The host was incredibly helpful and kind, going out of their way to check the weather forecast for us and even letting us know the best time to see the Northern Lights. Their hospitality made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore this magical part of Iceland!

숙소는 후사비크의 항구 바로 앞에 있으며 고즈넉하고 조용한 곳에 있습니다. 우리가 도착했을 당시 호텔은 무인으로 운영되었지만 안내데스크에 우리를 위한 메시지와 더불어 열쇠가 준비되어 있어 바로 방으로 들어갈 수 있었어요. 방은 따뜻했으며 침대와 작은 테이블, 옷장이 존재하는 심플한 구조 입니다. 음료나 스키르를 보관할 조그마한 냉장고가 있었더라면 더욱 좋았겠지만 겨울이라 사실 크게 상관 없었습니다. 조그마한 문제는 함께 묶은 다른 객실의 고객들에게 있었습니다. 그들은 새벽까지 술을 마시며 크게 떠들며 놀았고 그로 인해 우리 부부는 휴식을 취하는 것에 있어 조금 문제를 겪었어요. 일정 시간이 넘어가면 다른 승객을 위해 조용히 해줄 것을 안내하는 방법이 호텔 곳곳에 마련되어있으면 좋을 것 같아요. 그래도 대체적으로 좋았습니다. 다음에는 여름에 방문해보고 싶어요.
