Disappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest. The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️) There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby. The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it. One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way. Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

Me alojé en una habitación con terraza. Abrí la gran puerta que iba desde el suelo hasta el techo, respiré el aire fresco y me sentí renovado. La casa de familia está muy cerca del área escénica del valle de Wangxian, a solo unos minutos en auto. El propietario organizará un coche para su recogida gratuita y el conductor también es muy amable. El desayuno lo prepara el propio jefe y es nutritivo y saludable. Se puede cenar en el pueblo o en la zona turística, lo cual resulta económico. Comimos en el restaurante de la tía Pang, recomendado por el propietario y no está lejos del B&B. Sirve sabores locales, y vale la pena probar la especialidad local, tocino salteado con quinua, y el plato de crisantemos. Pienso que están deliciosos. Este viaje al valle de Wangxian fue una gran experiencia. La comida, el alojamiento y el transporte fueron geniales. ¡Muy recomendable!

Estaba un poco preocupado cuando leí por primera vez las críticas sobre las pulgas. Cuando llegué a la habitación, estaba muy limpia y ordenada. No me puedo quejar de la higiene. Me registré con tranquilidad y dormí muy cómodamente. ¡El colchón también era muy cómodo! El servicio también es muy bueno. Lo recogemos y lo dejamos en el hotel desde el lugar pintoresco y lo ayudamos a llevar su equipaje arriba. ¡Realmente recomendado! ! !

Trip.com muestra una puntuación media de 4.7/5.0.Personalmente creo que merece una 5.0. La habitación es muy buena, pero no es muy buena. La vista del segundo piso del lado del folk frente a la calle no es buena, pero una vez que pase a la entrada, entrará en un lobby muy bonito y luego más adelante en las habitaciones.  La habitación está muy bien construida y no hay problemas. El diseño de la habitación es estéticamente hermoso. Es agradable a los ojos. La pared blanca me da un buen humor. Las ventanas expansionistas ofrecen una excelente vista y una gran cantidad de luz natural. La habitación es luminosa con botones de cama para desactivar las luces necesarias cuando me fui a la cama. El personal del hotel es amable a menos que el primer día la señora de limpieza de la casa sigue golpeando mi puerta para limpiar pero aún estoy en la cama y la segunda vez estoy en la ducha... la primera vez en mi vida encuentro tan frecuente golpeando lol Y es muy extraño que ellos tiren mi tobillo en la segunda noche también porque ellos tiran mi tobillo de viaje también... El hotel está muy bien decorado y tiene un gran espacio para mejorar.

When we arrived in Huangling we called the hotel and within minutes the owner arrived (husband) to show us to the hotel (follow him if you are driving) which is just a 1 min drive away from the B cable car (use this cable car to go to the top - the A cablecar only goes to halfway up). He also took our luggage up to the 4th floor.
 The room was a good size, very clean and in excellent condition and had the usual amenities. Here are my ratings for the usual important provisions : Cleanliness (bed, sheets, room, bathroom) : ‘A’ everything was very clean and new Hot Water : ‘A’ (as much as you want, very clean and hot) Breakfast : Bento style. It was OK though for Chinese tastes rather than Westerners. Friendliness : ‘A++’ the husband and wife owners were so lovely and kind. They were very helpful and friendly and very generous, even providing us with a small food gift when checking out. Location : ‘A’ it is just a 1 mins drive, or 5 mins walk, from the B cable car (the best one) ! Services : ‘A’ when we wanted to visit different places in the area / or get picked up to return to the hotel, the husband was just a call away - even when his car had a flat tyre he found another means of transport to collect us ! We really enjoyed staying at this hotel and I have no hesitation in recommending it. We will stay there again when we next visit Huangling !

Super love the hotel location and service. 3-5min walk away from the food street. There is also a shao kao store next door. Staff were really friendly to recommend food around. Do take note that the hotel is located in the alley and taxi couldn't stop you directly Infront the hotel, but just a short 30sec walk outside. We love the hotel so much that we got a better room and extended our stay. Highly recommend!

Hemu Guesthouse was a delightful surprise, from the spacious and engaging common area to the rooms. There are lots of lounging areas, tables, seats, books, coffee bar, activities, BBQ pit, and even a guitar for playing. The dorm room for the four girls is bigger than the typical youth hostel forms, with space to move around in front of the bunk beds. There is a set of disposable towel, face towel and toiletries provided on the bed, along with a bottled water. The blanket is thick and soft, which came as a pleasant surprise. Shower gel and shampoo are provided in the toilet, along with rubber slippers. There is hot water for showering. Unfortunately as is the case for most accommodations in china, there are no wet-dry separation areas in the toilet so the floor does get wet at the sink area after someone showers. The toilet lighting is also pretty dim. There is an area to hang clothes to dry on the second floor too. Lady boss is friendly, she offered to help me order food if I need to because as a foreigner with no local number, I cannot order online takeaways on their Grabfood-equivalent apps. Hemu Guesthouse is a ~25 min walk from the entrance of Wugongshan, or you can take the shuttle bus and request to be dropped off in front of Hemu Guesthouse. I will recommend this budget-friendly place to travellers who are visiting Wugongshan.

El servicio es mejor, el ferrocarril también está enviando, no está lejos de la antigua ciudad y estación de tren de Xiaogo. El dueño del desayuno es personalmente hecho, tiene características muy guaxi, el barril de petróleo ➕ Maíz es muy delicioso, se acerca al Festival de Ming y también nos dio las características del salchicha. La gente está en el lago, en el otro lado del lago es la antigua ciudad, si no conduce, necesita un camino y comer cerca es muy conveniente.
