Si alguna vez visita Puerto Princesa, el hotel Astoria Palawan es sin duda el mejor lugar para alojarse. Está dividido en varias secciones y le recomiendo encarecidamente elegir la sección ”Nest”. La piscina está justo enfrente de su habitación y la playa a pocos metros. El personal es increíble y muy amable. Este hotel incluso tiene su propio parque acuático. Por la noche, puede disfrutar del restaurante con piscina mientras ve el espectáculo de fuego o la danza tradicional filipina. También hay muchos lugares fotografiables para Instagram.

The resort is nestled in a quiet harbour within a small village just a short distance from Puerto Galera — you can reach the town in about 10 minutes by tricycle for 50 pesos. The property sits right on the waterfront, with its courtyard opening directly onto the bay. The setting is incredibly serene, cosy and picturesque. The grounds feature plenty of relaxing spots: comfortable chairs, sun loungers and hammocks where you can unwind. We especially loved the chair near the large tree — it was the perfect place to relax! The sea near the resort is a bit murky due to local currents, so not many people swim here. However, this isn’t an issue at all, as you can quickly and affordably reach the stunning beaches of Sabang (I highly recommend La Laguna) by tricycle — or even on foot if you’re up for a walk. During low tide, you can explore the seabed right near the hotel. The resort also has a small swimming pool, and despite other guests staying there, we never had any trouble finding space to take a dip. The rooms are clean and well‑maintained, featuring a small kitchenette, stylish bathrooms and even a bathtub. We stayed on the ground floor, so we occasionally noticed small ants and once spotted a gecko — but they never caused any inconvenience. Please note that the air conditioning is rather weak, so the room might feel a bit stuffy or not quite cool enough at times. There’s both a ceiling fan and a standing fan available, though, and overall the accommodation was comfortable. The on‑site restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes for breakfast and other meals, with prices typical for a resort area. We were very pleased with the food. The staff are attentive, always smiling and eager to help. During our week‑long stay, the resort wasn’t crowded, which made for a truly relaxing experience — you really get what you came for. Occasionally, local guests can be a bit noisy, laughing loudly or singing karaoke, which might disturb your sleep or meditation. However, this is not the resort’s fault, and it’s still relatively quiet compared to other spots around Puerto Galera, such as White Beach. What could be improved: 1) Flip‑flops. It’s odd that a seaside resort doesn’t offer free flip‑flops like most similar places do — they only rent them out here. Even budget hotels usually provide this small convenience. 2) Charge for outside food. Corkage fees are normal, but charging an extra 150 pesos for any outside food is too much. Even though we weren’t charged, the mere existence of such a rule makes the resort look stingy. This rule should be removed. 3) Wi-Fi was dead almost all of the time. Don’t rely on it. Thanks to the Blue Crystal Resort for a nice stay! I highly recommend it.

Mi estancia en El Nido Resorts Lagen Island fue extraordinaria. La calidez y la hospitalidad genuina del personal fueron excepcionales; Siempre llevaban una sonrisa e hicieron todo lo posible para garantizar una experiencia memorable. Desde ayudarme con las reservas del ferry hasta sorprenderme en mi cumpleaños con una cama bellamente decorada y un delicioso pastel, su atención fue realmente conmovedora. Un agradecimiento especial a Carell, Jojo, Harnie, John y Arvin por su excelente apoyo. El ambiente feliz del resort al llegar marca la pauta y usted se marcha con una sonrisa, deseando más. Los recorridos complementarios, perfectamente integrados en el paquete, fueron excepcionales gracias a los guías comprensivos, creando una experiencia privada y oportuna. Optar por el bungalow sobre el agua fue una experiencia única y encantadora, que se suma al paraíso que es la isla El Nido Lagen. Las comidas estilo buffet que se ofrecían tres veces al día eran una delicia culinaria. Recomiendo de todo corazón El Nido Resorts Lagen Island para una escapada inolvidable y muy recomendable. ¡Gracias por una estancia excepcional!

Salí del aeropuerto sin reserva, pero me atendieron enseguida si les decía el nombre del hotel. La ubicación era excelente y el personal amable. No hay nevera, pero hay una tienda de conveniencia, así que está bien. Me decepcionó un poco que no hubiera secador de pelo, pero se puede alquilar en recepción. El arroz frito, las costillas estofadas (¿jangjorim?), los calamares salteados y la sopa de tomate y zanahoria para desayunar estaban deliciosos. El aire acondicionado era un poco ruidoso y la insonorización no era muy buena, pero aun así fue una estancia satisfactoria.

ambiente: El hotel es una versión más económica del soleil garden, con instalaciones compartidas y un buen ambiente. salud: La habitación es muy higiénica, la ropa de cama, el aire acondicionado y el baño están limpios y cómodos. defecto: La iluminación de la habitación es muy pobre, da al pasillo de otros edificios, no hay agua embotellada, zapatillas, secador de pelo, bolsa de agua caliente ni nada por el estilo, es relativamente sencillo. Sugerencia: Si es posible reservar el Venus de al lado, es mejor en todos los aspectos y tiene el mismo precio.

Hermoso y relajado resort ubicado en hermosos jardines frente al inspirador bosque de manglares. Hermoso atardecer en el embarcadero. Nuestra suite era de lo mejor. El bar y la piscina son maravillosos para relajarse después de excursiones de un día. Las chicas de recepción fueron un poco decepcionantes, lo que no se puede decir del resto del personal. Todos los demás fueron extremadamente amables y serviciales. Nos gustaría mencionar especialmente a la Sra. Darlyng, una mujer maravillosa, y al Sr. Jan de nuestro viaje privado. Gracias por todo.

From the moment we left the port, our Matinloc experience already felt special. The boat ride was smooth, and the boatmen immediately assisted us with our luggage. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ms. Jam from FO/Reservations, who gave us a friendly tour and clear briefing. Even before the trip, Reservations Manager Ms. Jeannette had already been very responsive to my emails, making the planning stress-free. Our VIP villa, perched on a cliff, offered an astounding view that raised the standard of our stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and we appreciated the generous souvenirs and hygiene kits provided. The staff were consistently attentive and polite special thanks to FO Supervisor Ms. Jhona and their Korean General Manager for adding to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highlights of our stay included the refreshing fresh fruit shakes, fun water activities, the amazing walking path lined with century-old trees, and of course, the delicious food (their pizza was a standout). The WiFi was surprisingly fast..even powered by Starlink at the port. We also appreciated the thoughtful gesture of staff recommending where to get beers in town since they don’t sell alcohol on-site. Matinloc truly combines paradise-like views with genuine hospitality. Maraming salamat to the whole team for making this my best El Nido stay so far.. I would gladly return a hundred times over.

Disfrutamos mucho de nuestra estancia en Huni Lio. Todo el personal es atento y siempre está dispuesto a ayudarte con todas tus necesidades. El personal es amable y ofrece un servicio excepcional. Excelentes instalaciones, piscina impecable y playa frente al mar para ver la puesta de sol. Nos encanta el desayuno, con un menú diferente cada día; recomendamos encarecidamente sus bebidas y pizzas durante la hora feliz. Si buscas un alojamiento tranquilo, este es el lugar ideal. No necesitas ir al pueblo, ya que tienen un pueblo encantador con excelentes restaurantes, cafeterías y tiendas cerca. El pueblo de El Nido está a unos 15 minutos en triciclo, que cuesta 300 pesos al día. Recomiendo ampliamente este lugar y, si alguna vez vuelvo a El Nido, ¡me alojaré aquí de nuevo!

We had an amazing stay at Sheraton Palawan! From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, especially the front office team who made us feel right at home. Their smiles and professionalism truly set the tone for our vacation. A very special mention goes to Hassanul Caye from the restaurant — he went above and beyond in accommodating our requests and made every dining experience extra memorable. The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that kept us looking forward to every meal. The pool is impressively huge and perfect for both relaxation and fun, while the updated amenities gave us that modern yet cozy feel we were looking for. On top of it all, the breathtaking mountain view added such a serene and refreshing touch to our stay. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. Sheraton Palawan is truly a place where hospitality meets comfort, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!
