For me, nothing was particularly bad, that’s the thing. Everything was okay, comfortable, acceptable…but I didn’t get that “WOW, this is a 5-star hotel!” feeling. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, but I was quite surprised that the tea selection was limited to Lipton, with Nescafé for coffee. I would have appreciated a slightly better selection, perhaps Dilmah or a few different varieties of tea. It may seem like a small detail, but these little touches really contribute to the overall premium experience. Breakfast? Okay. Cuma personally I expected a little more variety from a 5-star hotel. Service? Okay. Good. Pool? Nice. Gym? Good. Big View? Very Beautiful. 🌅

Just arrived at the hotel and was informed that there was ongoing water pipe repair work outside, which caused a temporary water disruption during the daytime. We couldn’t shower or wash our hands for a while, which was quite inconvenient. Thankfully, the water supply returned to normal again in the evening. Front desk staff were still very polite and helpful throughout the situation. We booked the Deluxe Single Room, and the king-sized bed was very comfortable and spacious, enough for us two adults and our 2yo child, with plenty of extra space. However, the bed felt slightly damp when we first arrived, but it became better later at night. The hotel also has a family pool and direct beach access, which makes it a great place for families with kids to relax and unwind. The buffet breakfast menu was also quite rich with plenty of choices.

La combinación de playa y bosque tropical crea un ambiente tranquilo que se siente refresco y único. Muy bueno para cualquiera que busque descanso y disfrute de una escape tranquila en Kuching. Definitivamente vale la pena para el escenario solo ✨

Exceptional Hospitality That Made My Birthday Special I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pullman Kuching Hotel, and it was truly a memorable experience. I chose to celebrate my birthday there, and the team went above and beyond to make it special. A heartfelt thank you to I-Rene Saw, the Guest Experience Manager, and her wonderful team for their thoughtful arrangements. They beautifully decorated the room, surprised me with a birthday cake, and put us to a newly renovated room. These small yet meaningful gestures made a big difference and created a warm, celebratory atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay — the service was attentive, the room was comfortable and modern, and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Pullman Kuching Hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. Thank you once again to I-Rene and the team for making my birthday so special!

I have a bussiness event in Miri Mariott Resort & Spa. The view was perfectly serene. The hospitality was top notch, from the warm receptionist at check-in, to the friendly cafe baristas, and the always-helpful concierge team. The resort has 3 swimming pools in total. The breakfast was brilliant. A wide variety of foods, different types of fresh juices, and the menu changed slightly throughout my 2 days stay, which kept it interesting. We particularly loved the smell of the shower gel, its ingredients include aromatherapy essential oil which was very calming. The hot water in the washroom worked perfectly and consistently.

Staff were attentive and friendly, and they even had a Cultural Appreciation Night, sharing about the local culture and tribes. Hotel location were a short 5 mins drive away from Mulu National Park, and the property offers shuttle services. Sometimes you gotta wait a little during peak (noon and evening), and you can call the hotel or get the park security to holler the hotel to come pick you. Food is great at the hotel, and the rooms are clean. TV reception might be weak as expected cos we are in the near the mountains but everything else is great! Would stay at Marriott again when we visit Mulu in the future!

The hotel is located in a prime location with ample parking. However, the facilities in the room are a bit old. The bathtub drainage is quite slow and the furnishings are quite old school. Despite that the bed was comfortable and ac was cold, I was well rested from my stay

Best decision ever..the accommodation is one of the best in kuching i guess The host prepares almost everything for a guest travelling with kids/families. The unit is new and very coz.y. Easy check in and out. No deposits and the host is very attentive.
