基礎房型不是在main building，每次都要走到main building再上去吃早餐或者泡温泉，也不是真温泉，朋友的高級房型才是真onsen。給了尾房，有點小，還好看不到太多墳墓。 叫門口的工作人員幫忙拍照，非常不情願，黑臉的。夜晚從朋友房間回自己房間經過大堂，值班的前台態度也很差，總體來説服務態度不滿意。 硬件設施沒得説，很新，體量很小，不過日本的酒店都這樣，裝修也很好看，審美在線 附近至少有3個墓地和一堆神社，帶些護身符去吧

Teníamos duda sobre la ubicación pero la verdad que estuvo muy bien. Hay un autobús que pasa por la puerta del hotel y te deja en cualquier parte de la ciudad, sumado a que el tren y metro está a 5 min andando. El personal es de lo más amable y hablan un poco inglés. Al llegar nos dejaron dejar las maletas en consigna y cuando volvimos a la noche, ya las habían subido a la habitación. Es uno de los mejores hoteles en los que nos hemos quedado en Japón. Contaba con una zona de spa gratuito.

Mi hijo y yo nos alojamos en una habitación king size con terraza. Soy de Tokio y crecí en un ambiente donde solíamos celebrar reuniones familiares en el Hotel Otani y el Okura. Un familiar es gerente del Okura, pero incluso comparado con esos hoteles, The Thousand fue el primer hotel agradable en el que me alojé en mucho tiempo. El hotel estaba bien diseñado, con muchos empleados expertos en atención al cliente. El servicio sin contacto, con un robot de reparto de comida, también fue excelente. La habitación estaba diseñada como un modelo de apartamento en Tokio. Sin embargo, creo que a todos les costaría abrir y cerrar el armario. Al colgar abrigos, la gran cantidad de ropa de invierno dificultaba la apertura completa de la puerta. Si no se abre del todo, los cajones del puesto de té de al lado no se abren, lo que dificulta sacar cosas, jaja. El televisor solo tenía canales terrestres y por satélite, así que habría sido aún mejor si se hubiera podido conectar a YouTube y Netflix. Mi hijo y yo pudimos relajarnos en el sofá en forma de L. El check-in era a las 12, así que pensé en relajarme hasta entonces, pero terminé saliendo sobre las 10:30. Esta vez, decidí reservar después de dudar entre alojarme en el Westin Kyoto o en el hotel, pero me encantaría volver a alojarme aquí con mi familia y relajarme.

Todo fue bueno excepto el servicio en los restaurantes de hotel, que fue excepcionalmente malo: 1) desayuno: esperado por comida durante 40 minutos, recordó al servidor 2 veces - todavía nada; 2) Bar: un tiempo demasiado largo para un cocktail. El servidor dijo que como disculpa dijo, el cocktail no se incluirá en la cuenta... pero estaba allí; 3) Tea de la tarde: dijo al personal que no me gustan los productos lácteos, pero no tienen alergias. En el final me dieron una placa de fruta y cuando les recordé de lo anterior... no hice nada ) me quedé en este hotel y tuve té de la tarde también el año pasado - todo estaba bien entonces. Suitable for those driving. Spacious hotel up on a hill. The common area looks modern but the rooms look abit dated. My teens appreciated the ”retro look” ..the ocean view compensates for the rooms. What we all enjoyed as a family was the onsen & evening bar & snack sessions. There were also some family activities,so it'll be suitable for kids. Perhaps summer might be more things to do. Free parking definitely a plus too.

La ubicación es excelente. Aunque no usamos el metro, la estación parecía estar cerca. Kioto no es muy grande, y es muy fácil tomar un taxi en la calle. La habitación es bastante espaciosa y la cama también es grande, perfecta para dos personas. No reservamos el desayuno. Justo al salir, a la derecha, hay una panadería con unos sándwiches excelentes para el desayuno, aunque el café es solo regular. Al salir del hotel, a la derecha, hay una zona con muchas tiendas. Y si giras a la izquierda y luego otra vez a la izquierda, encontrarás un supermercado de productos frescos de dos pisos, muy conveniente para comprar comida. Además, reservamos un baño termal privado (onsen) por dos horas, que costó seiscientos yuanes. El minibar era gratuito y la pequeña piscina era ideal para que toda la familia se relajara.

Excelente ubicación, con fácil acceso a Takashimaya y a la estación de tren. Incluso cuando llueve, es fácil moverse por el metro. Hay muchos restaurantes buenos cerca. Las habitaciones eran amplias y acogedoras. Está muy cerca del mercado Nishiki, la calle comercial Shinkyogoku, el centro Pokémon y Edion, y se puede ir andando fácilmente. Muy recomendable para familias con niños. El único inconveniente es que el desayuno es prácticamente el mismo todos los días. Por lo demás, las habitaciones eran muy amplias y cómodas.

Their warmth, attentiveness, and thoughtful gestures made us feel incredibly welcomed. A very special shout-out to Cecilia, who noticed my daughter’s love for Winnie the Pooh after our visit to Disneyland Resort. She prepared a beautiful card, a sweet message, and even a handmade Pooh origami and placed it in our room. It absolutely made our daughter’s day — such a thoughtful touch we will never forget. We also want to commend Yuki from the restaurant team for his warm and wonderful breakfast service each morning. His kindness and attention to detail set the perfect tone to start our day. The Ritz Kids adventure passport was a delightful surprise — engaging not only for our daughter but also enjoyable for us as parents. And of course, we loved the festive Christmas atmosphere, especially the beautiful Christmas tree and the amazing gingerbread house with the incredible aroma that filled the lobby. The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto truly exceeded our expectations in every way. We felt cared for, welcomed, and genuinely appreciated. We can’t wait to return again. Highly recommended for families and anyone seeking an unforgettable Kyoto stay.

Delightful modern hotel. It’s very comfy. The breakfast delicious and the ingredients are high quality. Premium dishes that satisfies the definition of high quality cuisine. Good slippers and comfortable pyjama(bathrobes are also included). Good cleaning service. I recommend this hotel to stay in while you’re in Kyoto. Price/quality ratio is perfect!

Our recent stay at Ujo Soan was, without exaggeration, the finest hospitality experience I have encountered in my 20 years of traveling across Japan. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was nothing short of superb. There are three highlights that made our stay truly unforgettable: 1. The quality of the crab and the meticulous preparation were world-class—a true gastronomic journey. 2. Breathtaking Sunset Views: Spending time at the Lounge ”AO” on the 8th floor of Bettei Fuka was a spiritual experience. Her professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail were exemplary. She anticipated our every need and represents the very best of Japanese Omotenashi.
