«I'm originally from Kendal, but now live overseas. I stayed here to visit family locally and thought I'd treat myself to a nice hotel after not being back for several years. This place was NOT a treat. On checking in, the reception staff member asked me to pay for my stay (obviously I'd already prepaid on trip.com). When I pointed this out, she became quite rude. We were put in the room right next to the office, and we could hear the staff chatting at all hours. The noise in the corridor from other guests woke us up several times during the night (despite the ”Quiet” signage). There was a fire alarm at 6am the next morning. Everyone had to evacuate for a good 45 mins in the rain while we waited for the fire brigade...not even an offer of a free breakfast or coffee or anything afterwards. There's no air con in the rooms, they're really small, the bathroom is tiny and there's not a lot of room to put your stuff. The à la carte restaurant is overpriced and the food was under/overcooked (how can you not know how to cook a potato?). Personally I'd not recommend this hotel when there's a Premier Inn in town...»

Absolutely amazing stay , as soon as we arrived everything was great and customer service was brilliant . They even upgraded us to a room with a hot tub for my husbands birthday. Spa was lovely and even on the checkout day can use it to 1pm which was a nice bonus. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent and so good only had to walk 30 seconds from our room. Will definitely be back to visit again!

La habitación está en una excelente ubicación y limpia! La ubicación es muy cerca del puerto del lago, no está lejos de la estación de tren. El jefe es un señor muy gentil. ¡Es muy prudente! Una vez llegado al hotel, explicó en detalle la situación cercana al lago Windmil y dio un mapa de viaje. El desayuno es muy delicioso! ¡Me recuerda! Cuando se va, el jefe todavía está muy entusiasta de ayudarme a reservar un taxi. Este es un viaje agradable y agradable.

This was the second time my husband and I stayed at this luxurious new resort style hotel in/near Windermere. It was part of a longer trip, and again we stayed in the posh Winander Suites keyed access building. Breakfast is great as you get to eat from both the breakfast buffet, and also order hot food from the menu. The staff here are always 10 out of 10 excellent for both in the spa and the hotel itself. A couple of them even remembered us from the year prior! It's great having so many dining and drinking options on site... one never really needs to leave. I really enjoy the keyed access for the Winander and additional for the room hallways. There is parking on site and a guard at the gate. I know we will continue to visit here for many years to come!

El hotel está muy bien situado en el Lago. Esta es mi segunda visita, esta vez he tomado a mi padre mayor por dos días. El personal fue muy útil para satisfacer sus necesidades y solicitudes de ajustes de menú. También han mejorado nuestras habitaciones que era hermosa. Hotel was clean, plenty of parking, good breakfast No information in rooms, was advised that they didn’t like clutter, so any questions we had we had to go to reception to ask. No wifi, channels on tv not tuned in, had to pay to use the spa facilities.

Nice hotel, abit tired in places, brilliant location and seating outside, the guy on reception wasnt very helpful, the girl with red hair on reception in afternoon very helpful.
