Good location - in the center of everything in Stone town. They don’t have water coolers for clients - you have to go to the restaurant to refill. Also: it seems they bought another building. So they accommodated us in like 200 meters from main facility. Surely it’s kind of inconvenient but still ok.

La recepción ofrece una habitación que ya está en la habitación. A las 23:00 de la noche, cuando terminamos de estar, abrimos la puerta, ya había un hombre de mediana edad que estaba dormido en la cama, el hombre estaba espantado y muy enojado, y también nos sorprendió y nos sentíamos muy espantados. La recepción se disculpó por esos malentendidos y no nos disculpó. Después de cambiar de habitación, nuestra habitación doble se ha cambiado a una habitación grande. El hotel no explicó esto. Debido a la profundidad de la noche, renunciamos a cambiar de cama. Hay un sabor de salchichas en la habitación, y una botella de agua mineral terminada, que no se limpia. Hay muchos voladores en el restaurante durante el desayuno. Me siento muy descontento por esta experiencia de vivienda.

El hotel es excelente, un edificio antiguo y lujoso. La habitación es muy grande y tiene una rica decoración clásica. La ubicación es buena y es uno de los hoteles emblemáticos de Stone Town. Hermoso edificio, restaurante bien equipado.

Such a lovely hotel for a very affordable price. Located in the city center next to those winding shopping streets, very stylish with the vintage furniture on the inside and incredibly helpful staff!

Room, Balcony, View from the room and Restaurant is really nice. But only one thing they need to improve in their reception customer service. Room I signed when I check in and Room I really received was different. They changed the room without notice. I asked why they said it's same room inside. But it was totally different. Changed room has no privacy at all. We have to close the window during the stay. And I asked for late check out when I check in. They told me to check last day in the morning. In last day, I asked again for 2hrs late check out. They refused my request even didn't check the system. Just say NO. I am very disappointed with their attitude. And when I checked the site there were plenty room left. As everyone knows Zanzibar is the holiday place. Most of 5 star hotels in holiday place, they run check out time very flexible due to flight time. No deserve to have 5 stars in customer service.

Aterricé en el Golden Tulip porque Trip.com metió la pata con mi reserva en otro lugar y me enteré a última hora. La ubicación está justo al lado del puerto, en una zona de la ciudad bastante sospechosa. Sin embargo, Stone Town es pequeña y segura, así que no importó demasiado. Las habitaciones son bastante agradables. Tienen todo lo necesario. La gente es amable en todo Zanzíbar, y en el Golden Tulip no menos. La piscina es preciosa y el servicio es correcto. A veces tuve que preguntar más de una vez, llamar porque había desaparecido mi toalla o guiarlos con mi propia cuenta. El restaurante es bastante malo. No soy muy exigente con la comida, pero no siento la necesidad de comer comida chatarra. Pedí tres platos de degustación el primer día y no terminé ninguno. Otro viajero tuvo una experiencia similar. El desayuno está bien. Hay fruta, yogur, bollería, tortillas por encargo, tostadas, cereales a veces y una variedad de platos calientes. Nadie parece darse cuenta cuando faltan cubiertos en la mesa o cuando se acaba el café, la leche o algún plato caliente. Casi todos los días, encontraba comestibles los cereales (si los tenían), la fruta y al menos un plato caliente.

Если у Вас с собой много багажа, то будьте готовы к тому, что такси не сможет подъехать непосредственно к отелю, так как улица на которой расположен отель является пешеходной. Пешком от ближайшей возможной остановки такси нужно будет идти около 50 метров. Завтрак по типу ”швецкий стол”. Комфортные матрасы и подушки. В ванной есть халаты и полотенце для ног. Душевая/туалет были чистыми с новой сантехникой. В номере также есть телевизор.

Las sábanas eran horribles, probablemente de fibra acrílica o sintética, y hacían bolitas. El personal del hotel fue amable, pero la recepción podría ser más eficiente. El hotel está bien ubicado, con muchos hoteles cerca. Si no tienes prisa, puedes buscar otras opciones. No vale la pena el precio y no se puede comparar con hoteles más al norte.

La habitación era bonita y limpia. El servicio es bastante bueno y proactivo. El ambiente es genial. También está el único restaurante chino en la isla Sang, a 300 metros, lo cual es muy rentable. Recomendado. Sin embargo, la observación de delfines y la isla prisión recomendadas por el hotel son relativamente caras, así que si es posible, busque afuera.

Loved this place, everything was great, food, drinks, pool, gym.. baggage storage after check out. Wish i had more time.. and the aircon after 3 weeks without any was the icing on top of the cake.. bed was really comfortable. They allowed an early check in too.. i have absolutely nothing bad to say 👌 staff really friendly and polite as well
