This was a great location in Polonnaruwa. We loved all the services provided. The hotel had a great garden and I would say this is one of the best hotel gardens ever experienced in Sri Lanka. I specially thank front office “Hansika” which she was very proactive in helping out, also her wonderful customer service to all of us stayed at the hotel. We also would like to thank “Dilshan” for his services throughout dining. We wish both of these staff very well and hope to come back soon. Also would definitely recommend the place for wonderful stay with fantastic views over Parakrama Samdudraya.

15 minutes walk into town, so not a bad location. The room was very large with good AC and a mosquito net. The bathroom did have ants but would consider this a minor issue, overall the stay was good value.

Mi reserva era para 3 habitaciones dobles de lujo con camas king y vistas al lago, y no estoy satisfecho porque: Las habitaciones que reservé no fueron las que me asignaron. Me dijeron que las fotos estaban equivocadas, pero siguen apareciendo en la página web, así que asegúrense de que finalmente les asignen las habitaciones que reservaron. Solo una de las 3 habitaciones tenía vistas al lago; las otras dos no. El televisor no funcionaba en una de las habitaciones. Las 3 habitaciones necesitan mejoras. Adjunto la foto de la habitación que se suponía que me asignaron, pero no fue así. Me comuniqué con recepción 24 horas antes de mi llegada para preguntar por los precios del safari y me respondieron al día siguiente a las 21:00. Si se hospedan solo 1 o 2 días, esta es una respuesta muy tardía. Así que asegúrense de que cuando reserven y paguen la habitación de lujo con vistas al lago, sea la correcta. Por otro lado, el menú del desayuno y la cena ofrece una gran variedad de opciones de comida buenas.

Rooms were ok, beds were very squeaky, when asked to change they were quick to resolve. Changed rooms and the bed linen in the new room had stains. Lucky there were two beds one room so just slept in that. Left as soon as we could. Never again

Выбрала данный отель ввиду его расположения, он находится недалеко от Сигирии и других достопримечательных мест. Не люблю писать отрицательные отзывы, но если честно, мне не понятно, почему все восхищаются этим отелем. Вероятно 50 лет назад он и был высококлассным, но не сейчас. На вилле половая плитка убитая, как на пешеходном тротуаре, в номере не хватает дневного освещения, сам по себе номер очень темный и унылый, в ванной комнате плесень. Кроме того, как гулять по территории, наблюдать за бабочками, птичками, обезьянами и выпивать в баре после ужина, там делать совершенно нечего.

El hotel está en un buen ambiente, frente a los Grandes Lagos. Hay pequeñas manchas sin lavar en las sábanas. Por la noche, fui al hotel para recomendar el viaje en bote al lago para observar los pájaros y ver el atardecer. Es una experiencia muy rara. Cuando regresé, ya estaba oscuro. La luna en el cielo, la luz del hotel en la orilla y el canto de los monjes. . . Todo el proceso de remar de dos jóvenes es muy duro y respetuoso con el medio ambiente. Al día siguiente, hubo algunas molestias en la caja. Los gastos de la cena que había pagado mi esposo estaban en un abrir y cerrar de ojos y el mismo camarero que pagaba los honorarios planeaba tomar el pago de mi amigo. . .

La struttura è situata davanti al lago. Immersa nella natura è molto suggestiva. Siamo arrivati intorno alle 18 e purtroppo la piscina chiudeva alle 18:30 per cui non abbiamo avuto tempo di testarla. Offrono servizio di spa gratuita ma i massaggi sono a pagamento. Il ristorante è ben fornito di alcolici, si mangia discretamente a buffet cucina sia tipica asiatica che internazionale a circa 15€ a persona. Anche la colazione è a buffet; si trovano prodotti dolci/salati e uova cotte al momento. La nostra stanza (matrimoniale deluxe) era molto carina, su due livelli: nella parte inferiore il bagno ha un concept particolare. Una porta scorrevole ti porta direttamente nella stanza per metà a tetto coperto solo da una retina. Tutto molto bello ma poco pratico e soprattutto c’è il rischio di trovare molti insetti, come nel nostro caso. Nella parte superiore c’è la stanza da letto, molto confortevole. La tappezzeria non è del tutto pulita e questo va in contrasto con tutta la struttura.

The hotel is great except the toilet is outdoor so there were many ants, mosquitos and some insects. That's why when you open for a while to go to toilet then some of the insects are coming into the room. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

It was a pleasant place to stay fora couple of days. There was a problem when I arrived and I had to stay in a poorer quality room for the first night.
