I came with the night flight so this hotel was just a bed to sleep before I move to another hotel. Overall nothing much to complaint as it’s only 22 USD. The room has just bed, safe, AC and bath room has 2 pcs of soap and 1 small bottle of shampoo. That’s all. The staffs are nice and friendly. The location is good. Excelente ubicación, con fácil acceso a puestos de comida nocturnos y a un centro comercial cercano. También ofrece servicio de transporte gratuito a algunos lugares como el mercado Cecil y la calle Kimberley. Como nuestro vuelo es nocturno, Joshua nos informó que hay una sala de descanso disponible después de la salida. El personal es muy atento y amable. Un agradecimiento especial a Joshua; al ser nuestra primera visita a Penang, nos proporcionó información sobre lugares de interés y restaurantes, y se aseguró de que todo en la habitación estuviera en perfecto estado durante nuestra estancia. Nos hizo sentir como en casa durante estos días. Sin duda, volveré en mi próxima visita a Penang.

Hotel maravilloso, servicio excelente y ubicación perfecta para explorar Georgetown. Nos alojamos solo una noche, pero las habitaciones eran amplias y limpias, había una buena selección de desayunos y el personal era muy amable. Muy bien ubicado para visitar Fort Cornwallis, el paseo marítimo y a poca distancia a pie de los principales lugares históricos y culturales de Georgetown. Lo recomendaría.

Had an amazing stay at Raia Hotel. The environment was comfortable, the service was smooth, and everything felt welcoming. My favorite staff member was Azman. He was exceptionally friendly, attentive and always ready to help. Truly made the experience even better. Highly recommended.

Me alojé una noche; en general, una buena estancia de 7/10. Ofrecen aparcamiento gratuito, lo cual es genial, ya que no hay que buscar sitio. Sin embargo, lo único que me incomoda es el baño, ya que es bastante transparente, a pesar de haber reservado una habitación familiar. La vista de la habitación es buena; se puede ver Kek Lok Si desde la ventana cerca del ascensor. Se puede ver Netflix. Además, hay restaurantes cerca, a poca distancia a pie.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The hotel is well located and offers convenient access to nearby attractions and transport options, which made getting around very easy. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a long day. Housekeeping did a good job, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel felt calm and welcoming. The staff were courteous and professional, and check-in and check-out were smooth. Amenities were adequate and met expectations for a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a satisfactory experience, and I would consider staying here again in the future. Almost every object in the main hall of this hotel has a history and a meaning, and some of them have price tags, for those who are interested in purchasing and owning them. Therefore, this hotel is more than just a hotel, it is also a museum and an antique store. Always an exceptionally and aesthetically unique experience here. The centerpiece of this hotel is a square Zen garden, with a rectangular open sky roof that lets rain in to nourish the plants indoors. This very much adds to the relaxing ambience of the place. One of the best places to hang out at this siz8able hotel is at the commons, where there are comfy leather couches, a TV, a fridge, a water dispenser, an ironing board and also worth mentioning a bookshelf filled with books and board games. It is open for all registered hotel guests to use, and is nicely equipped and furnished. The hostel is on its perfect location. It has swimming pool. Working shower with heater. Also, clean toilet. I recommended place to stay for solo travelers Excellent location, walking distance to all tourist attractions and the CAT bus stops are just 5mins walk. The hotel has a traditional Chinese atmosphere. A small swimming pool. Room, toilet and bathroom are clean.

Surprised by how clean it was despite being an old hotel in the area. I am overall satisfied with the hotel and my room, especially the cleanliness of the toilet and tub area. If I have to be really fussy and pin point a thing I did not like, it would be that the blanket is slightly thinner than I would normally prefer a hotel blanket to me. However, this is just my very fussy side speaking. Overall, I would give this hotel a 4.9 out of 5. I had booked a room with breakfast during my two days there for a workshop. Both days are somewhat the same, food was decent. The workshop provided lunch which led me to again dining in the lunch buffet section, overall it was pleasant. I like it that the hotel provided a variety of Penang food over the two days. My fav was the rojak which I took a photo here haha! Hub enjoyed the pool and hot & cold pool (sadly the sauna was under maintenance). Before I checked out, I also happened to be part of the Penang heritage launch ceremony. So, I got to see some of the really beautiful art work and nyonya clothing items on sale at the pop up stalls at the lobby too. The hotel also was serving nutmeg juice and Penang famous snack 豆沙饼. I must mention too, that I got a sea view room which allowed me to see the extension project by MBPP. There was a very happening and lovely park opposite the hotel just minutes walk away. I couldn’t help to bring myself over and was really happy to experience the joy of the families enjoying the facilities there. Huge slide, lots of climbing equipment and a very decent skatepark! Running track was very nice too! You must check it out if you’re in Penang! It was overall a pleasant stay in all.

El personal fue amable y servicial. Conseguí una habitación esquinera con buenas vistas a la Torre Komtar y al mar. El registro de entrada y salida fue rápido y sin problemas, sin necesidad de depósito. La habitación era muy espaciosa, con una cómoda cama king y cuatro almohadas grandes. La ubicación está en la calle principal, cerca de muchas atracciones y restaurantes locales, y la parada del autobús urbano gratuito n.º 7 está justo enfrente del hotel. El desayuno fue espléndido, con una gran variedad de platos locales, chinos y japoneses. ¡Muy recomendable!

Este hotel no cumplía mis requisitos, quería una habitación lejos del ascensor, al final, tuve una habitación justo al lado del ascensor, una gran puerta de ascensor abierta y un sonido cercano. Reservé una habitación con ventana, cuando abri la puerta, vi una pared con molde negro. 5. Reservé una habitación doble, tengo galletas de moldeado. 6. La habitación tiene sólo un depósito de basura en el baño. 7. Nilo botella de agua basada pero u ca optó por coger agua. Nota: pls recuerda al personal de la oficina de correo cuando se inspecciona si usted pagó un impuesto al turismo durante la reserva, de lo contrario, puede haber una doble tasa.

Ambos hoteles tienen la opción de utilizar las instalaciones de los demás y se les concede la flexibilidad para tener su desayuno en cualquier hotel sin ningún aviso previo. El G Hotel Gurney es el hotel más antiguo y está directamente conectado a Gurney Plaza, mientras que el G Hotel Kelawai es menos confundido y más tranquilo, que nos gustaba.
