The Hotel locationis excellent. its on hill and views are amazing. Food was good only issue we had was during checkout when no one was available to get the luggage from room . Its 2nd floor with no lift.

Un hotel con una vista magnífica. Es realmente difícil encontrar una vista así. Sobre todo, la vista desde el bar de la planta superior es extraordinaria. Las habitaciones podrían estar más limpias. No está sucio, pero sí podrían estarlo. El desayuno era normalito, el menú de la cena no era muy extenso, al menos en la zona del bar. Nos recibieron en el vestíbulo con respeto y sonrisa. Nos ofrecieron toallas calientes y zumo de frutas nada más llegar. El hotel está en la ladera de una colina, pero creo que la falta de un servicio de autobús que conecte con el centro de la ciudad es un inconveniente.

Very pretty and nice resort with mountain view. Friendly staffs and super super nice breakfast. However, it is too fat away from Kandy city center, you have to pay 1500+ rp for each ride, and most tuk tuk drivers don't prefer to go to this place. The google map shows wrong way and the team knew about this, but informed us just on the day of arrival, making this journey even harder.

La cama era media – Lenguas y toallas estaban limpias, pero podía sentir las primaveras un poco, lo que afectaba ligeramente mi sueño. Además, desde las ventanas, no se puede obtener una vista de montaña o lago – tal vez una o dos habitaciones podrían tener una, pero no me lo contaría. El verdadero encanto está fuera cuando se sale a la mañana temprana. El hotel está muy bien situado, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer. Si eres alguien que realmente valora despertar hasta esa atmósfera, puede que todavía vale la pena para ti. En general, es un lugar decente con hermosas vistas y un personal amigable – sólo gestiona sus expectativas en la habitación y se prepara para el precio. ¿Me quedaría otra vez? Tal vez no a esta tarifa, pero puedo ver por qué otros podrían disfrutarlo.

La ubicación es cerca del lago y está rodeada de restaurantes hermosos. El pub en el techo ofrece una tranquila distancia de las calles ocupadas.

We recently stayed at W15 Glenfall Nuwara Eliya on a bed & breakfast basis, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. We were given one of the most centered rooms with the largest balcony, offering a lovely view — definitely a highlight of our stay. The room was spacious, very clean, and well equipped, with tea and coffee making facilities available. The interior felt luxurious and cozy, and the entire property is well maintained. The washroom was quite large, with basic amenities provided, and they mentioned via WhatsApp that any additional items could be requested. However, I requested two dental kits and even followed up twice, but unfortunately they were not delivered. Check-in was smooth and quick, and parking is conveniently available with a friendly and helpful security officer. The small lawn area is also nicely maintained and adds to the charm of the property. Their pre-order dining system is quite efficient, dinner needs to be ordered before 6 pm and breakfast before 10 pm the previous night. The food was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the English breakfast, which was very well prepared. The staff were generally attentive and helpful, contributing positively to the stay. However, it would be nice to see a welcome drink at check-in, and since we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, a small gesture like a cake or simple decoration would have made it more special. Also, the rooms are not fully soundproof, as some noise from the kitchen and lobby could be heard. Overall, it’s a beautiful and comfortable property in Nuwara Eliya, ideal for a relaxing getaway. With a few improvements in attention to detail, the experience could be even better. 🌿✨

A Hidden Gem – Perfect Honeymoon or Quiet Getaway This place is truly a hidden gem. It was the perfect spot for a honeymoon couple or anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway. Travel tip: From Colombo, you can catch a direct bus to Nuwalapitiya. We didn’t know this and went via Kandy, which made the journey longer than necessary. If we had known, we would have taken the direct bus—it’s much easier. Ps:The bus ride is phenomenal—very beautiful views along the way and very cheap. The property is located on a hill and is naturally beautiful, surrounded by trees and birds whose songs make the atmosphere even more serene. It does get a bit cold at night, but it was the perfect kind of chilly—cozy and refreshing. Our room had an amazing view, making it even more special. The stay itself was perfect for our honeymoon: very cozy, comfortable, and clean. The staff were amazing, especially one gentleman at the restaurant (I didn’t catch his name, but I want to mention him). He went above and beyond to help us and was incredibly sweet and warm-hearted—it really made our stay special. A small note: we noticed the pool looked a bit dirty, which some other reviews also mentioned. However, it was clarified in the pool area that they use natural spring water without chemicals, so this is expected and actually a great eco-friendly approach. But This hotel needs some love because this is a very nice place. Another small note: there were some insects, like cockroaches, but that’s expected when staying on a hill in the middle of nature surrounded by trees. Overall, this was a truly wonderful experience and a perfect spot to relax, unwind, and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!!

The Good The standout feature of The Coffee Bungalow is undoubtedly its staff, particularly Adrian, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Everyone we encountered was attentive and genuinely warm, making us feel well cared for. The food was another highlight—delicious and thoughtfully prepared. A particularly nice touch was when they packed us a complimentary to-go lunch for our train journey out of Kandy, which was a pleasant and unexpected gesture. The Bad The lack of air conditioning was a notable downside, especially given Kandy’s humidity. While the property has a charming colonial feel, the absence of a solid door between the bedroom and bathroom was an odd design choice. Although the toilet and shower do have louvered doors, privacy is somewhat compromised. Another issue was the challenging entry system—we found ourselves locked out one night, which was frustrating and inconvenient. The Ugly Unfortunately, the biggest drawback was the ant problem. While some level of bugs is to be expected in a tropical setting, the sheer number of ants, particularly in the bathroom but also in the bedroom, was hard to ignore. It definitely impacted our overall comfort. Overall, The Coffee Bungalow has a lot of charm and some truly wonderful hospitality, but there are a few quirks and inconveniences that might not suit every traveler. If you’re prepared for a bit of rustic charm and can handle the lack of AC and privacy, the warm service and great food may make up for the downsides.

The hotel is in a quiet spot surrounded by nature, and we had a really relaxing time listening to the birds. We stayed in a room with its own pool and loved just enjoying the hotel itself. Breakfast came with an amazing view, and the Sri Lankan-style dishes were delicious. The staff were so attentive, always smiling, and made us feel truly welcome. We’d definitely like to come back. Just note that it’s a bit away from Sigiriya Rock and the town center, so you’ll need a taxi or tuk-tuk to get around.

El dormitorio era decente con un pequeño refrigerador (pero no funcionó), el baño era pequeño, sentía sucio, sin jabón de mano ni jabón para la ducha (aparte de los ocupantes anteriores de la casa de baño - y eso fue bruto). La presión era pobre, lo que dificultó la ducha y había parche en el suelo de algunos daños - no limpiado. La cama era masiva y cómoda con aire acondicionado y un fan así que el sueño era bueno.
