Great hostel very conveniently located very close to the Naha pier that can get you to the Keramashoto National Park And Zamami Islands!
Can easily walk to the nearest Family Mart convenience store and a fish market for eats and drinks.

Aparcamiento: Amplio aparcamiento gratuito.

Good service from check in to check out. Yuki at the reception was really helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was really clean but the toilet was a bit smelly from the pipe. Air con needs to be clean as the water dripping on the sofa. The pool was great size and relaxing when it’s no kid around. Public onsen was really clean and not busy in the morning so I could enjoy and relaxing during waiting for my washing. The hotel is on the end of Kokusai street so it’s very convenient to access everything you need including monorail station. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will stay here again next time when we visit Okinawa.

The facility is quite old and not well maintained. My biggest concern was the visible mold on the ceiling and around the AC units in the room. Breathing in mold can be harmful, and it's concerning not knowing how serious it might be.
While towels were replaced, there was no bed-making service during the stay, which was disappointing. One of the main reasons to stay in a hotel is to receive basic room service—at the very least, the bed should be made.
That said, the location is excellent with a beautiful view of the ocean, and the staff were very kind and helpful.
We booked the highest floor with exclusive free flow of drinks from 12 noon to 10 pm. We get priority in service and breakfast was good with many offerings of their local delicacies like seaweed grapes, brown sugar and such.
The private Onsen in our room with the beautiful sea view and the direct view of the landing pad of the airport and the reach of eateries just below the hotel with a 2 minutes drive.
Location was quite central to the places we planned to visit and throughly enjoyed our stay there.
Recommend you pay a little more for the exclusive member deal and will definitely stay there if we visit Okinawa again.
Love the ocean view room, however they gave me a room on the second floor and they are always taxi waiting outside and sometimes the diver smokes and it gets into the room.
There are a microwave, stove (no pots/pans, cutlery and tableware), fridge and a washing machine (you can turn the shower area into a dryer by using the setting) available in the room. Detergent can be purchased for 100yen from the front desk. I used the paid parking (1000 yen) as it was raining - the parking area next to it is for hospital visitors, park at your own risk.
Location wise, you will need a car to get around. Or else, metered taxi are easily available as it is right next to a hospital. You will need to drive out most of the time, as the restaurants nearby are very limited and closes early. There is no access to beach as it is a sea wall.
Take note of the check in time as it opens till 8pm only.

SSven KosterIt isn't the best place for couples but for families it would be great.
We had the Japanese double room and the room looks lovely and the view from the room over the pools was great as well. However, the room itself is full with stains on the ground, wall and the ceiling. Also, even though the room is big, it will just have two big single beds. The rest is empty space, some chairs and a table could have been useful.
The onsen on the other hand is a problem. It is too crowded and parents don't control their kids. With the pools, the lobby with free drinks in the evening is perfect for families but not for a peaceful retreat. The staff is very friendly.
HHK_travel_111Un bonito hotel. Ambiente acogedor.
El desayuno es genial.
Lavandería está disponible.
También con piscina en la azotea.
Personal amable que es muy servicial.
Gran elección para alojarse en Naha.
UUsuario invitadoReview of Onna Resort, Okinawa
About me:
I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip.
⸻
👍 What I liked:
• Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends.
• Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for.
• View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset.
• Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim.
• Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming.
• Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals.
• Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests.
⸻
👎 What could be improved:
• Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed.
• Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff.
• Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask.
• Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience.
• Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook.
• Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient.
• No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight.
• Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak
UUsuario invitadoUpon arrival at the Southwest Grand Hotel, one is immediately struck by the calibre of design sensibilities that grace the establishment. Our room exhibited a masterful fusion of contemporary elegance and practical luxury, with thoughtfully appointed furnishings and refined finishes throughout. The intelligent spatial arrangement maximised both comfort and functionality, whilst the sophisticated colour palette created an atmosphere of understated opulence.
The hotel's facilities proved equally impressive, with particular mention deserved for the meticulously maintained swimming pool and comprehensively equipped fitness centre. These amenities demonstrated the property's unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction across all facets of the hospitality experience.
Breakfast service warrants special commendation, offering a veritable cornucopia of culinary delights that catered admirably to diverse palates. From impeccably executed Okinawa classics to inspired international offerings, the gastronomic range was nothing short of remarkable. The quality of ingredients was patently evident in each dish, reflecting the kitchen's dedication to sourcing premium produce.
The exclusive lounge service elevated our stay to extraordinary heights, providing a sanctuary of refined comfort accompanied by attentive yet discreet service. The curated selection of refreshments and light fare throughout the day ensured guests remained splendidly catered for between mealtimes—a thoughtful touch that exemplifies genuine hospitality.
Perhaps most noteworthy was the exceptional staff performance across all departments. Room service was delivered with flawless precision and genuine warmth, whilst the housekeeping team maintained immaculate standards with remarkable efficiency. The front-of-house personnel displayed particular resourcefulness in facilitating car park tickets, navigating potential complexities with ease and ensuring guests experienced no inconvenience whatsoever.
The Southwest Grand Hotel stands as a paragon of contemporary hospitality, where exceptional physical attributes are matched by equally impressive service standards. Their collective commitment to guest satisfaction ensures this establishment remains a distinguished choice for the discerning traveller.
Kkelvin.likes.cheeseHeartfelt Hospitality in Hoshinoya Okinawa ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hoshinoya has long been renowned for its impeccable service, and my recent visit was yet another shining example of that legacy. The hospitality extended by every member of the staff was not just excellent—it was extraordinary. Their warmth and attentiveness are what truly set Hoshinoya apart.
Although my tight travel schedule only allowed for a one-night stay, and I sadly missed out on the many indigenous activities the front desk staff enthusiastically recommended, the experience was still deeply fulfilling.
From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the breathtaking scenery. Watching the sunset from my room was pure serenity—I could have sat there for hours, soaking in the view without ever growing tired.
But what truly touched me was the care shown to my family, especially our 3-month-old infant. Before our arrival, I had informed the hotel via email that we’d be traveling with our baby. To our amazement, they had not only prepared a cozy cot but also thoughtfully provided all the cleaning essentials for baby bottles. It was a level of consideration that far exceeded our expectations—something we’ve never encountered at any other hotel.
One moment that remains vivid in my memory was when a staff member, herself a mother, kindly helped us carry our stroller and luggage up to our second-floor room. Later that evening, while dining at Bellezza—the hotel’s exquisite fine-dining restaurant—our baby fell asleep, and the staff graciously brought out a cradle so he could rest comfortably. I was genuinely moved. What other fine-dining restaurant would offer such heartfelt service? Bellezza, without a doubt, stands alone.
🌟 In the end, what made our stay so memorable wasn’t just the stunning views or luxurious amenities—it was the exceptional professionalism and genuine kindness of the staff. They made our brief visit feel like a homecoming, and for that, I am truly grateful!
AAlisaXUContrary to my expectations from the photos, the hotel turned out to be a disappointment.
First of all, the information on Trip.com does not match reality.
The site stated check-in from 2:00 and check-out until 11:00. In fact, check-in is from 3:00 and check-out is by 10:00. The staff gave no explanation for this discrepancy.
Secondly, the site confirmed a room in the new building. However, I was placed in the old building, which, judging by the exterior, looks like it was built in the 19th century. The room matched the condition of the building. All the furniture was very old and worn out, some even with mold. The view and access from the window was onto a shared balcony, which meant that to maintain privacy I had to keep the curtains closed at all times. The noise isolation was terrible — neighbors were loud from 7 AM to 11 PM, making it impossible to sleep. Speaking of the beds, the mattress was extremely hard and the pillows were stiff and uncomfortable.
As for breakfast: not only was it limited to 7–9 AM, but the website had advertised a buffet with both European and Japanese options. Upon arrival, it turned out that there were no European options at all, only a fixed Japanese set meal. The only good thing was that at least coffee was available.
The hotel has no beach, despite being close to the sea. There is only access to a rocky embankment, where swimming is unsafe.
I used the coin laundry service, paying 300 yen just for my clothes to be rinsed in water. There was no detergent provided, nor was it sold at the hotel — I had to go out and buy it separately. The dryer only partially dried the clothes, so I had to finish drying them in the room.
If you plan to come by car, keep in mind that there is no lighting in the surrounding area, so driving in such darkness doesn’t feel very safe.
Overall, if you are looking for a proper rest and relaxation, I cannot recommend this hotel at all.
