It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

Great location, husband and father in law stayed the night before a visit to see the Vulcan. The room was very comfortable, the staff were very friendly and the food was superb (best fish & chips theyve had for a long time). They both had a great time and would definitely recommend.

This is the 2ed time staying here for 2 nights the price is ok the room is clean you get free tea and coffee in your room the breakfast is good value for money I believe it’s 15 pounds per person there is lots of fresh fruit cereal, a cooked breakfast as much tea and coffee as you like we didn’t go into the park this time as I have been in the wildlife Park before with my daughter this time we were visiting family the wildlife Park is amazing the staff at the Hex Hotel are super friendly . And professional. The only thing I would say negative about the hotel is checking after 4 pm. And you have to be out of the room by 10 am. I think check-in should be from 2 pm then that gives you a little bit longer in the room and maybe check out 11 am but apart from that I can’t fault this place but if you want to do an earlier check-in, they charge you £30. And if you want to upgrade your room, they charge you £15 per night to upgrade. . The shower is absolutely amazing. You have a rain shower and a smaller shower. You get two massive bath towels, two hand towels also shower gel body cream soap. That are individually. I will definitely be coming back and staying again. A short taxi ride into Doncaster town Centre where there is lots of bars that play music if you’re into that there’s also a designer outlet not far from the hex hotel. .

The location is good, the room was pleasant and spacious. But the staff were a little slow, it took a long time to check in even though there were three staff on reception and one person before me, two were on the phone together. I understand busy times but they weren’t particularly in a hurry to help, explain or apologise. Also had a drink at the bar and again, the staff were a little slow to help. They were fine and adequate but not particularly friendly. I have worked in customer facing roles and I’m not expecting the world but some hotels go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the staff here could definitely improve in this area. There was nothing wrong at this hotel and it was adequate for my needs but I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here again.

Super convenient for the university. Clean and comfortable for a solo traveler. Noise can be a issue given close proximity to student halls

La habitación era perfecta para un viajero solo, y me ofrecía una base cómoda después de un día de exploración de la ciudad antes de asistir a un espectáculo el día siguiente. Nice a cosy hotel. Big rooms with prices that beat competitors Staff willing to help and polite . Hotel is in process of renovating so it's working progress. Would like to see food area and bar open and acessable . I personally would love to own a hotel like this Great location and relatively quiet

El hotel está en buenas condiciones. Hay una estación de MRT en la planta baja. Sin embargo, la ciudad es muy pequeña. Puedes caminar por la ciudad en básicamente tres horas.

El hotel es muy agradable, es un hotel muy limpio, es un cuarto de baño, un cama cómoda, todo lo que necesitas. En mi última noche no pude entrar en mi habitación con la tarjeta de teclado, ya había ido a medianoche así que estaba cansado y sólo quería dormir, tomó 2 viajes a la recepción desde la parte superior antes de que esto se resuelve que me dejó bastante molesto. La última mañana que pagué por el desayuno, fue un poco decepcionante, muy básicamente el lado continental y los salsas eran de muy poca calidad y no podían comer. No obstante, hay un toby carvario por la carretera donde yo tenía desayuno el día antes a un precio más barato, recomendaría ir allí en vez

Really happy with the stay, we had a bit of an incident with a broken down car and my son arriving late to meet us, we asked if we could accomodate my son rather than him going to his shared accomadation. Reception couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was great, (especially the make your own waffles), rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Will definitely come back.
