Fabulous hotel, very clean everywhere. We ate in the restaurant which was great. All the hotel staff were friendly, helpful and courteous but genuinely interested in our wellbeing, nothing was too much trouble.

This venue is really a hidden gem up to a point , the Chef and kitchen ( paticularly the Haddock and Poached Eggs at Breakfast which is Michelin Star level ) the spa and swimming pool are kept to a good standard of hygene , however there is a serious problem with service which is evident from the staff behind the bar ( Saturday 4th May to be specific ) where it was plainly evident for all of the guests seated in the lounge to witness the grief that was being given to the Restaurant Host and other waiting staff by the two individulas behind the bar who were making their life's a misery by poor attitude and unhelpfulness when rightfully they were chasing restaurant drink orders which were painfully slow on deliverance attributed totally to the ineptness of the bar staff . Its about time that Providence Hotels boss Mr Neil Hughes and Blantyre Capital and Fairtree Alternative Real Estate were made aware of this as it is not fair on the efforts made by the other staff who are being dragged down needlessly by the bar staffs under performance , ineptness and demeanour .

A lovely stay with an upgrade to a cottage, all quickly and efficiently arranged. This was a trip in honour of an annual expedition for my late wife Caroline and I to the Pitlochry area for autumn. Caroline always wanted to stay in the lovely cottages so it was fate and her sparkle that helped with the upgrade. Food is incredible and a wide selection of choices along with fantastic, friendly service and drinks. Very good to eat and sit by the river in warmer times. Terrific breakfast too. The cottage was spacious and kept warm. Very comfy. They are not new so you must allow for some quirky spaces and layouts. It was lovely to have that space to relax. Port Na Craig is a 10/15m walk from the town over the suspension bridge or the dam. It's a beautiful walk but be careful near water. Pitlochry is a beautiful town that Caroline and I have enjoyed for years and I'll continue to honour her by visiting. Thanks to the Port Na Craig team for making me so welcome and for the prosecco for toasting Caroline. Much appreciated.

Kenmore is a beautiful location and the area is a stunning area of natural beauty in Scotland. That said, having stayed at this resort before, I was disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of not only the lodges but the leisure centre. The lodge itself had peeling wall paper and chips around light switches and old frying pans, all things which are easily maintained and/or changed. The pool area is lovely but pool was cold and one of only two showers were out of order due to a cracked base in the ladies. This was a relatively cheap break but despite this I do feel the Kenmore club is looking a little shabby and in much need of an overhaul or at least some renovation to keep up with the neighbouring hotels and lodges which are more modern and well kept

La bienvenida fue de todo menos cálida. Nos dieron dos habitaciones que no se parecían en nada a las fotos de la página web. Una tenía dos ventanas que daban directamente al tejado. La otra tenía dos ventanas cerca del techo, así que no había vistas desde ninguna de las dos. La segunda habitación parecía una celda de prisión. La habitación en sí estaba limpia, pero todo en las zonas comunes (recepción, pasillos, salón) dejaba mucho que desear y parecía viejo y sucio. Este hotel es más bien una fábrica de turistas. No se lo recomendaría a nadie que busque un lugar acogedor y agradable donde alojarse. Eso sí, es funcional.

A very beautiful house and garden located right in Pitlochry. I was car free so it was a bit of a walk to get my cases there but once you’re checked in you can come up from the bottom of the garden which is very handy for exploring the town. The room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was extremely delicious and Greg was a wonderful host - always checking in to see how to help make my stay more comfortable and helping with local information. I cannot recommend this lovely stay more highly! It was easy to catch the bus to The House of Bruar and to Blair Castle located nearby. Oh and at the bottom of the garden is where Heather Gems -you’ll see in gift shops all over Scotland are made!

En general, la habitación tiene todo lo que necesitas y una cama muy cómoda. Sin embargo, el olor a tabaco en la habitación es insoportable, sobre todo del cabecero de la cama se desprende el olor. Lo peor es la limpieza. Marcas de PP en el dispensador de Kleenex y el flush del baño. En las mesillas tampoco habían limpiado, pegajosas con marcas de comida. Esa fue la parte decepcionante porque lo demás era cómodo.

On arrival we had a warm welcome with complimentary drinks and shown to our gorgeous room. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The added extras and attention to detail were exquisite and in my book should be a 5 star hotel. Everything from the food and drink to the surroundings was absolutely beautiful. Also don't worry about taking wellies as they can be provided along with dry robes. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here and will be back.

The double bed was a pathetic mattress. In this day and she comfortable beds are basic. The lamp shade was broken in our lodge and the carpets need replaced. Room 501 living room Has a strong bad doggy type smell. We couldn’t relax in the living room. It was either from the rugs or sofas. These lodges are tired and need updated. The bathrooms are dingy. The bedrooms are dark with poor lighting. Not good!

Not the easiest to find if not using satnav but in a very tranquil location. Large carpark. Nearest shops about an 8 minute drive away. Very nice hotel but rooms could be done being modernised. Bed a bit too firm for us. Very welcoming staff. Very good breakfast with a good choice and made to order hot food. Did not have dinner. Can go for a quiet walk along the river.
