UUsuario invitadoLa habitación es muy confortable, con una gran vista y un bello papel de pared. La comida en el bar y restaurante fue deliciosa, pero un poco barata y no mucho de elección para mi adolescente fussy. En general, un buen tiempo de relajación y nos dejó con el tiempo. Buscará ofertas especiales para volver con mi marido

UUsuario invitadoThis venue is really a hidden gem up to a point , the Chef and kitchen ( paticularly the Haddock and Poached Eggs at Breakfast which is Michelin Star level ) the spa and swimming pool are kept to a good standard of hygene , however there is a serious problem with service which is evident from the staff behind the bar ( Saturday 4th May to be specific ) where it was plainly evident for all of the guests seated in the lounge to witness the grief that was being given to the Restaurant Host and other waiting staff by the two individulas behind the bar who were making their life's a misery by poor attitude and unhelpfulness when rightfully they were chasing restaurant drink orders which were painfully slow on deliverance attributed totally to the ineptness of the bar staff . Its about time that Providence Hotels boss Mr Neil Hughes and Blantyre Capital and Fairtree Alternative Real Estate were made aware of this as it is not fair on the efforts made by the other staff who are being dragged down needlessly by the bar staffs under performance , ineptness and demeanour .

UUsuario invitadoA lovely stay with an upgrade to a cottage, all quickly and efficiently arranged. This was a trip in honour of an annual expedition for my late wife Caroline and I to the Pitlochry area for autumn. Caroline always wanted to stay in the lovely cottages so it was fate and her sparkle that helped with the upgrade.
Food is incredible and a wide selection of choices along with fantastic, friendly service and drinks. Very good to eat and sit by the river in warmer times. Terrific breakfast too.
The cottage was spacious and kept warm. Very comfy. They are not new so you must allow for some quirky spaces and layouts. It was lovely to have that space to relax.
Port Na Craig is a 10/15m walk from the town over the suspension bridge or the dam. It's a beautiful walk but be careful near water. Pitlochry is a beautiful town that Caroline and I have enjoyed for years and I'll continue to honour her by visiting. Thanks to the Port Na Craig team for making me so welcome and for the prosecco for toasting Caroline. Much appreciated.

UUsuario invitadoKenmore is a beautiful location and the area is a stunning area of natural beauty in Scotland. That said, having stayed at this resort before, I was disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of not only the lodges but the leisure centre. The lodge itself had peeling wall paper and chips around light switches and old frying pans, all things which are easily maintained and/or changed. The pool area is lovely but pool was cold and one of only two showers were out of order due to a cracked base in the ladies. This was a relatively cheap break but despite this I do feel the Kenmore club is looking a little shabby and in much need of an overhaul or at least some renovation to keep up with the neighbouring hotels and lodges which are more modern and well kept

El desayuno era bueno, con mucha variedad, aunque la fruta podría haber estado más fresca (la manzana estaba marrón). La cena estuvo bien. El animador era bueno; disfrutamos de su música y su alegría. Fue difícil conseguir un taxi el día que nos fuimos, y llovía muchísimo. El personal fue muy amable y nos llevó al tren, ¡lo cual agradecimos mucho! Recomiendo reservar un taxi el día anterior.
Nuestra habitación era cómoda y de buen tamaño. Sin embargo, las cortinas de la ventana del baño necesitan atención. ¡Una cortina de ducha sujeta con broches no era apropiada para la seguridad y la privacidad!
Volveríamos a alojarnos allí.

(Only very slight negative was that TV in our room had no reception - we didn’t advise staff since we were only staying the one night so had minimal impact)

UUsuario invitadoOn arrival we had a warm welcome with complimentary drinks and shown to our gorgeous room. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.
The added extras and attention to detail were exquisite and in my book should be a 5 star hotel.
Everything from the food and drink to the surroundings was absolutely beautiful.
Also don't worry about taking wellies as they can be provided along with dry robes.
Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of staying here and will be back.

UUsuario invitadoThe double bed was a pathetic mattress. In this day and she comfortable beds are basic.
The lamp shade was broken in our lodge and the carpets need replaced. Room 501 living room
Has a strong bad doggy type smell. We couldn’t relax in the living room. It was either from the rugs or sofas.
These lodges are tired and need updated. The bathrooms are dingy. The bedrooms are dark with poor lighting. Not good!

UUsuario invitadoNot the easiest to find if not using satnav but in a very tranquil location. Large carpark. Nearest shops about an 8 minute drive away. Very nice hotel but rooms could be done being modernised. Bed a bit too firm for us. Very welcoming staff.
Very good breakfast with a good choice and made to order hot food. Did not have dinner.
Can go for a quiet walk along the river.

UUsuario invitadoWe enjoyed our stayed as a family but the service and food in the buffet style restaurant at night was very poor as food was cold and we were finished eating before we received our drinks. We eventually managed to speak to a manager about it. However, we have stayed before and ate in other restaurants and they were good. Upgrades to winter garden bar were nice but again service for drinks very slow. Overall a 6.5/10 stay.
