OMG the place was just amazing! We definitely will come back again! Although the hotel was located quite far from city Center, i.e., an hour from Oxford University, half an hour from Bicester, but 15 mins drive from Waitrose, which was good enough for us (chill but enjoy the world class racing cars around). The facilities were new. The staff was friendly ( strongly felt it in the breakfast session), there was own car park just next to the apartment too. Free 15 mins electricity charging outside the reception. Free access to gym and swimming pool… everything just fabulous!

Lovely view of the lake, much prefer not having a crappy breakfast included in the price, room was spotless, nice shower, decent desk/workspace.
Two minor negatives: the TV was teeny tiny and the placement of it really affected the work space when set up with a laptop, mouse etc. Secondly there was a pretty unpleasant smell at the top of the stairs like stale fish.
That's nitpicking though, it was an absolutely lovely stay and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

因為火車下錯站無意來到這裏，但是這裏超乎預期的非常非常好，老闆超級的熱情還有點帥hhh！特別喜歡。這次入住體驗五顆星。酒店裡其他客人也都很nice。
早上早餐比較簡陋，但是非常温馨。房子因為比較老舊的原因設施沒有那麼好，但是因為價格問題還是打分滿分。

El hotel es un hotel con vistas impresionantes a las habitaciones y del restaurante y bar del techo y del techo - camas super cómodas con excelentes instalaciones de té y café- buena ducha y preciosos productos de baño Elemis.
La habitación de la habitación era muy buena, pero no se podía hacer nada. De lo contrario, todo es grande y seguramente optaría por permanecer de nuevo.

We have stayed many times at the hotel. But sadly it seems to be going down hill a bit . Our room was good but the bathroom was not in good condition, the sink tap was old and not in good conditions and the shower control didn’t work to turn the temperature down ( not good as this could scold someone) . The reception had no one on it several times so you couldn’t talk to someone. Then breakfast in the morning was nice but there was only one person trying to do everything which wasn’t good . Tables left uncleared and people had to wait ages to get served. The fruit juice wasn’t kept cold like it used to be , and the waiter used his bare hands to replenish the beard instead of tongs or covered hand . It’s sad as this hotel is a great place but not being run well .

Stayed here for a convention. It's an absolutely fine place to stay. The room was a little old fashioned but very clean and cool - the shower was great. It's not anywhere central, but fine if you don't mind ordering in for dinner or getting food there (it will be a bit pricey). Staff was pleasant, seemed a little understaffed but nothing that ruined anything too much. Breakfast was great quality and covers all the essentials to choose from. The choice of rooms for the convention is great, so much space in all the areas! Never had a problem with neighbor noise. Overall, recommended. Nothing spectacular but still a good choice.

The room is very neat and clean. There are a gym and a small swimming pool, which you don't find very often in the hotels in the UK. The restaurant serves excellent breakfast. You may choose soy milk or oat milk for your coffee or tea in case you don't want dairy milk. If you like fruit juices, you have a few different ones to choose from. I particularly like their mango banana juice and freshly squeezed orange juice.

Tenía un baño más grande que esperado con buenos espejos y un baño. Las toallas eran buenas. El hotel estaba muy ocupado y el desayuno estaba muy ocupado con familias. El desayuno estaba bien el desayuno cocido estaba caliente pero las pasteles dulces estaban limitadas. La gama de carne fría era buena. La fruta era buena. El café era bueno. La comida en el desayuno era buena. No utilicé las instalaciones sanitarias. El bar estaba ocupado y tuve que esperar a comprar una bebida suave. La gama de comida que se ofrecía era buena. Me disfruté de mi estancia en el salón de vacaciones. UUsuario invitadoI stayed at Holiday Inn High Wycombe on 19th February, and unfortunately, my experience started on a disappointing note. Upon arrival, I was greeted politely and checked in by the receptionist, who allocated me a ground floor room. However, when I entered the room, I immediately noticed a strong smell of smoke, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwilling to stay there. It was clear the room hadn’t been properly cleaned or aired.
I contacted reception, and to their credit, the staff member came to inspect the room herself. She acknowledged the issue, apologised sincerely, and admitted it should have been resolved by housekeeping. Unfortunately, I was told the hotel was fully booked and no alternative rooms were available. I was offered a 30% discount to stay in the room, but I declined as I did not feel comfortable.
The receptionist then arranged an alternative solution by relocating me to Hampton by Hilton High Wycombe, including organising a taxi transfer. Although there was some confusion about room availability at the Hilton, she remained helpful and even offered me a complimentary drink while I waited.
Once I arrived at the Hilton, the difference was clear — the room was clean, fresh, and of a much higher standard, which made for a far more comfortable stay.
Overall, while I appreciate the professionalism and efforts of the staff at Holiday Inn to resolve the issue, the initial room condition fell well below expectations.

UUsuario invitadoFrom the moment we arrived at Danesfield House, we were treated extremely well. All of the staff were very helpful and could not do enough for us, even carrying our luggage to our room.
Our room had a beautiful view over the river Thames and hotel gardens and the four poster bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely and clean and their were plenty of towels and toiletries.
I had booked a treatment in the Spa for my wife and all of the staff were amazing. The Spa itself was very nice, and although the jacuzzi was out of action, this did not spoil the experience at all.
Finally, our breakfast was wonderful. We were greeted and shown to our seats immediately. Our order was taken for our choice of breakfast by a lovely waitress and coffee and toast was brought to us by an absolutely wonderful waiter who had the biggest smile that never left his face the entire time we were in the restaurant. He was extremely polite and just made you smile with his infectious enthusiasm for the ”fabulous filter coffee” and the ”terrific toast” (his words, not mine) that he served us. I just wish I had his name to include with this review as he deserves a special mention.
Overall it was a fantastic experience and the right choice of hotel to celebrate my wife's birthday. We will definitely be coming back.

Only English restaurant was open so marked down the amenities as didn't really use others aside from the restaurant, bar and room. There is a lovely looking pool. Service was good. Mixup with our steak order was quite easily resolved however ended up with a cut of steak I didn't want. Would recommend booking restaurant time before 7pm as between 5-6.45 pm you get 25% off your total bill including alcoholic drinks. Would recommend offering prosecco on the menu. As cheapest champagne was around £100 so on the pricey side in general to eat and drink.

DDanny&RachelEn general, nos disfrutamos de nuestra estadía en el hotel, y me encantaría darle una puntuación más alta porque nuestra habitación era tan espaciosa, limpia y tenía un hermoso diseño moderno que lo hizo muy cómodo. No obstante, tuve que calificarlo un poco más bajo porque nos sorprendió que, mientras que la aplicación de viajes sugirió que la habitación de la reina estándar vendría con un baño y un duche, resulta que sólo las suites premium ofrecen baños. El personal era increíblemente amigable y muy útil. Es sólo una decepción que las fotos y la descripción en la aplicación eran engañosas, ya que lo hizo parecer que todas las habitaciones de tamaño real también tenían baños!

UUsuario invitadoThis hotel looks beautiful from outside with a lovely ground and impressive entrance, but however, I found the room & common area not so impressive  they need to give it a face lift to deserve the room rate. Especially with a high bathtub it’s quite dangerous as it’s slippery when you step into it to have a shower, even with the rubber mat on it , luckily I brought along my rubber slipper, which I can use to have a shower to prevent from slipping . Our room included breakfast, buffet table selection of food were poor, and the quality of food was not great even with basic smoke salmon it looks stale & the cooked breakfast was ok not impressive. The front desk reception staff were not helpful with problem . But the manager at the front desk was very helpful when we checked out , after hearing our comments about the problem he took note said he’ll look into the problem & told us to contact him when decide to stay with them next time. I do appreciate his helpfulness & trying to make the best of the situation, Cliveden Hotel should treasure him as the hotel manager.
