Spacious and decent room. Valet parking and free covered car park available for guests Booked a room without breakfast so did not try their breakfast but Kuantan has plenty of food available nearby . The only downside is that the lift lobby at the swimming pool floor is always wet . guests still wet after swimming straight get into the lift without drying up first.Hotwl Management must look into this seriously as it is dangerous for elderly or young children may fall due to slippery floors.

Wonderful 3D2N Family Stay at Swiss-Grand Hotel, Kuantan We recently enjoyed a 3D2N family vacation at Swiss‑Grand Hotel Kuantan, and it was truly a memorable and relaxing experience for all of us. From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth and welcoming. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a warm smile, which made us feel comfortable right away. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained — perfect for a family stay. We especially loved the beautiful sea view and the calming sound of the waves, which created a peaceful atmosphere throughout our trip. Housekeeping services were excellent and consistent during our stay. One of the highlights was the hotel’s facilities. The swimming pool was a big hit with the kids, while the direct beach access allowed us to enjoy relaxing walks and family bonding time by the sea. The environment was safe and family-friendly. Breakfast was another pleasant surprise, offering a wide variety of local and international dishes. Everything was fresh and delicious, with plenty of options suitable for both adults and children. Overall, our stay was comfortable, enjoyable, and stress-free. This hotel is highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing seaside getaway in Kuantan. The hotel has a modern feel despite its age, with swift check-in. My room was impeccably clean, and the bathroom provided hot water with excellent pressure. I particularly appreciated the comfortable pillows, available in both thin and thick options. It's a bustling hub in Kuantan, offering free parking and a shopping center nearby.

This hotel was newly refurbished so it still got a little smell of paint. Overall, the service of the front office and f&b staff are friendly. The cocktail selection is limited

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hyatt Regency Kuantan, especially the ambience and hospitality. However, there are a few areas that require attention. Cons / Areas for Improvement: 1. Water pressure was quite slow, especially for the shower. When turned to hot water, the pressure increased, but once switched to cold, it became extremely weak. 2. There was water maintenance work happening during our stay. Although the hotel assured that everything was under control, it did affect our comfort while on holiday. 3. We noticed a small clump of dust on the floor. While it was minor, as we were staying with a 2-year-old toddler, it raised concerns as children tend to put things into their mouth. Housekeeping may need to be more thorough. 4. There should be better control of wild monkeys, especially around the parking area. I was chased and nearly bitten, which was quite frightening and unsafe for guests. Pros / What We Appreciate: 1. Excellent service recovery — I forgot to disable the “Do Not Disturb” sign but informed the front desk to clean the room. The housekeeping staff called first to ask for permission before entering, which shows professionalism and true 5-star service standards. 2. The hotel’s surroundings are beautiful, clean, and very calming — truly breathtaking. 3. The beach is very clean and conveniently located right next to the hotel. 4. Large swimming pools (two pools available), so it never felt crowded. 5. Staff were extremely friendly, polite, and always willing to help. Conclusion: Hyatt Regency Kuantan has great potential with its beautiful location, facilities, and outstanding staff. With improvements in water system management, housekeeping checks, and wildlife control, the overall guest experience would be even better.

This hotel is very suitable for a business trip. The room is clean, neat, and comfortable for resting after a long day of meetings. The internet connection is fast and stable, which is very helpful for work. The location is strategic, close to restaurants and transportation. The check-in and check-out process is quick and efficient. The staff are friendly and professional. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would consider staying here again for future business trips

The room is as what was advertised - body and hair shampoo provided. Room is clean. Towels are clean but you can see they are abit worn out. I am not complaining given the price we pay. There are 2 hotel reserved parking lots and we have been lucky to be able to utilise them while we were there for 3 days 2 nites stay. Staff are helpful. We stayed on level 2 - the highest level. However, on Sat night, very late at night, maybe in the wee hours, we could hear furnitures being moved and dragged above us. The hotel may want to avoid such furniture move during these hours so as not to disturb the sleeping time of their guests

The location is just nice. Great scenary, not too cold but not hot. It's windy when we were there. For me here one day trip is just enough as there is just a small area unless you want to stay for a night there. The room was spacious but no carpet - cold for out feet. We got an upgrade room but unfortunately the elevator not working to the first floor, they apologized to use by giving 10% off for food to bought there. Breakfast - we booked with breakfast , satisfied with many choices available and good taste too. For the restaurant around there- not really satisfied as not so much choices plus pricy compared to the food served. Brought my child to the rabbit farm and Japanese garden - it's free for those who stayed at the Colmar Tropicale.

A lot of room for improvement on hygiene and overall maintenance of the room. Need to clear the mold in the toilet, anti mold paint, and ensure the ventilation fan really works to keep the toilet dry. Fan need to clean maybe more frequently, dusty. And maybe air filter system in room to clear dust. Need proper hanger or hanging point in the room if you want to encourage reuse of towel, it couldn't dry in time. And sustainability fee applied, yet providing 300ml plastic bottle water? Better to invest in good water filter machine for refill.
