Beautiful hotel with Mountain Views. The hotel looks spectacular and is very clean. The room is very spacious. Location is perfect as it shares the same building as the mall. You can use the lift which brings you directly to the mall. The mall has shops like Uniqlo, ABC Mart and many more, including a food court with various food options. There are 3 washing machines in both the male & female public onsen area, however it is pretty difficult to get a chance to wash your clothes. The hotel seems like a popular wedding venue, however it does not disrupt the stay as the guests do not seem to linger in the lobby at all. There's a Nescafé coffee machine which you can help yourself to outside the public onsen, along with Kumamoto's fresh spring water tap for drinking. For parking, please avoid the carpark infront of the mall as it is expensive. If you're facing the mall, the hotel's carpark is at the left side basement of the mall. The hotel provides a discounted price at off-peak periods. It's best to leave your hotel before 12 noon. It is paid parking and there's a ticket machine at the basement entrance of the hotel. The hotel location is perfect as it is also very close to a station.

When I first arrived in Mitsui Garden, the staff already showed me great attitude - letting me use their lounge for free while I needed to wait for my check in time at 3pm. During my stay, all staff showed their professional and nice services. The best part came from my own room - Kumamon standard queen room. Everything was enough - the size, the atmosphere, the decoration, THE CUTE BATHROOM - made me feel like home immediately. Very close to Sakura Machi Kumamoto Shopping centre and Bus station, and Kumamoto Castle, Sakuranobaba Jousaien… all were in walking distance. Very friendly in all the ways possible I should say. 10000000/10 👏

Small room but totally functional for a night stay. New hotel in the middle of city, walking distance from malls. Only downside is lack of on-site parking though there is nearby parking at the mall, which is 5 mins walk away. Excellent stay at one station! First time and with it's perfect location it makes travelling around so convenient. Beside it it's Kumamoto Station and there is AMU Shopping mall just beside it. If you rented a car during your stay in Kumamoto, you may just park at the multi story carpark behind the hotel for just 1000 yen for 24hrs with multiple entries but you would have to head to hotel reception to get the coupon for it. Definitely a recommended stay in Kumamoto

La ubicación del hotel es muy conveniente. Es un edificio que combina transporte y compras. El diseño es muy novedoso. El servicio de limpieza del hotel es muy serio y cuidadoso. Nos alojamos tres noches y lo limpiaban todos los días, incluso las zapatillas se cambiaban todos los días. El desayuno es muy recomendable. Puedes ver el hermoso castillo de Kumamoto y las vistas a las montañas desde el restaurante paisajístico del piso 14.

Great location. The hotel is right in the middle of major area. The hotel pays part of the parking fee at nearby lot. Many famous restaurants close to the hotel. The common area setup real nice. Free soft-drink, coffee, coco. The water pressure in the shower is great.

No me sentía bien, pero la habitación del hotel era muy cómoda y estaba al lado de una calle comercial con mucha comida rica. Además, había una farmacia donde me ayudaron a conseguir la medicación adecuada. La cama era muy cómoda y el pijama, muy confortable. Volveré a alojarme aquí. Una estancia fantástica y, sí, me recuperé por completo.

The room was very clean. Staff were really helpful - I asked the front desk for food recommendations and they offered some good choices at late night time. Rooms were clean with toiletries well provided. Would be even better if some small utensils/plates could be provided in the room for some chill snack time. But all in all, 10/10!

La habitación es más grande que la que nos quedamos en Osaka o Hiroshima. La ubicación es muy buena y fácilmente accesible a las tiendas y tranvías. Regresaré si vuelvo a Kumamoto.
