This hotel locates next to the JR Fukui station, which is quite important because the required public transportation for tourists are all start from here, including the bus, JR, and local railway. However, you can tell this hotel is quite old and only has refrained limited part such as the wall paper, which does not mean much to me. The air condition is not cooling, the toilet flush leaks frequently, these points are not often seen for a hotel in Japan. The hotel offer free breakfast like some of the business hotel.

My wife and I have had a 2-night stay at this Hotel Keifuku Fukui Ekimae Room #707 from 11 to 13 October 2025. The Hotel is just a 1-minute walk away from the Fukui Station. Its reception is small, and it has limited parking lots on the 1st Floor behind the Hotel. So we are grateful and thankful that we were given a lot for just ¥1000 per day for 2 days. The Hotel staff are polite and helpful, and are able to communicate in simple English. As the Hotel is located right in the city centre, so shopping centres with eateries are within walking distance. The hotel room is the standard typical type whereby it is very small but very clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable for our liking, and the very small bathroom (the WC is right next to the bathroom room) - again the typical Japanese type - is clean and its has strong water pressure for a comfortable shower. We believe the Hotel is quite old as the general fittings and fixtures are very dated, but it is clean and well maintained. At SGD S$107 per night, we find it not value for money at all, and, if the rate is remained the same or gets higher, we will choose to stay else where if we travel to Fukui again.

A cosy hotel with really friendly and helpful hotel staff. Room was a little small compared to what we have been used to. But the helpfulness and friendliness of the Hotel staff made up for everything. Air conditioning on the first night was a little hot (we went to Fukui in the summer time), but was OK on the 2nd night. You can choose your own pillow and amenities (shampoo, conditioner, bath salts, cotton buds, sewing kit etc) from the 5th floor - so funny! But reception is on the 5th floor (not the 1st). The hotel thoughtfully provided a laundry drying rack so you can dry laundry in the room. The shampoo, conditioner and body foam (made with Royal Jelly) made my hair really soft and manageable! Very convenient to drive to Tojinbo Cliffs too!

Staying Dormy Inn many time in different cities in Japan. Most attractive thing are having public Onsen, seafood rice in breakfast and free soup noodles at night. Rental price is reasonable.

Our favorite hotel for this trip. Love the beautiful room with comfortable bed and modern bathroom with a huge bath tub. We could also see sunrise from our full height window which had a great view of the city. Breakfast spread was good with dinosaurs decorations on the tables. The hotel also had a dinosaur activity for kids. Location was excellent too. Near the train station and shopping malls with many food options.

Дом с богатой историей и очень красивым и свежим ремонтом. Уютно, чистые комнаты, просторная общая комната и кухня, ванная-онсен. Чай, кофе, вода для всех гостей. В доме я была единственной гостьей, потрясающая атмосфера жизни в большом традиционном доме за такую цену. Был радушный прием, большое спасибо!

Bien, cerca de la estación, el desayuno es bastante completo, pero hay que registrarse a las 16:00. Solicité una tarjeta de socio, pero no funcionó. Dijo que no la había usado para reservar. El camarero del último restaurante de Fujian no me lo explicó con claridad.

La habitación es completamente una habitación japonesa imaginada, muy cómoda. El balcón tiene una bañera, muy cómoda para muchas personas que se quedan. La calefacción es excelente. Hay suministros de bebidas gratuitos en la noche, y puede sentarse cómodamente en el descanso de la sala. Hay tres tiendas de cafetería al lado del hotel, adecuadas para las personas que quieren comprar en la calle.

El servicio de recepción fue excelente, lo cual agradecí. Además, me recomendaron rápidamente restaurantes cercanos, lo cual fue genial. El baño de la habitación era espacioso y la ducha funcionaba bien.
