hotel was at a good location, bedsheets and walls were slightly stained. only provided 1 pillow for each bed and chargeable for extra (non refundable). at the price point i think it was decent, aircon works fine, just a little noise coming from the pipes. room service food was quite good. however, check out took quite long.

Check-in was quite fast. Do note that a deposit is required. Lobby was undergoing renovations but it wasn't too bad. Other than the lobby (cos reno), it really is a very beautiful property. We opted for the studio villa as we wanted the higher walls for privacy. Room was very clean and spacious, bed with lots of pillows was comfortable for me. Room had two ac units which was appreciated as it definitely cooled down the room faster. Smart TV worked fine with loads of channels. Bathroom (& bathtub) was huge but the water pressure was a bit low on the shower/tub tap although was ok for the sink and toilet. Private pool was clean altho i think the wooden slats may need some maintenance work. We didn't encounter much mosquitoes, maybe there was one or two flying around on our last day. Our room came with two complimentary daily drinks at the restaurant which is smack in the middle of the resort. Breakfast was semi buffet. During check-in, you fill out this slip for each day for your choice of mains. If you want to change your choice, just go back to the reception desk one day before your scheduled breakfast to update your slip. Although there were 3 time slots, we actually came in much earlier before our alloted slot, and it wasn't an issue. Besides breakfast, we also had room service. The food was delicious and quite reasonably priced. Spent abt sgd12 total for nasi goreng and mee goreng. Something that I've never encountered at any other hotel was we had to sign an acknowledgement form when we ordered in, like to say we received 2 plates, 2 spoons etc. Not a big issue. The best part of Woda is the staff. From housekeeping to property maintenance to restaurant staff, everyone was super friendly and helpful.

This trip was with 8 friends. During our stay at Doulos Phos The Ship Hotel in Bintan, and really enjoying the experience. The hotel is on a restored old ship, which makes it very unique. The room is clean and cozy, the porthole windows give it a special feel. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Ms. Winda. The check-in process was smooth. We asked the hotel to prepare a small surprise for two friends who were having birthdays. There’s a small museum onboard that tells the story of the ship, and the deck has a nice view of the sea, great for relaxing. Breakfast is simple but good, and the overall vibe is peaceful and quiet. If you want to swim, remember to bring a swimsuit. It is less than 5-minute drive from the Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal and the hotel. If you need the hotel to arrange transportation, you need to inform the hotel customer service staff in advance, which is free of charge. It’s a great place if you’re looking for something unique and relaxing.

The hotel location is convenient, and since it’s budget-friendly, it works out well. However, the Wi-Fi connection isn’t very strong. The breakfast service is worth more than the price paid. The security staff are also very helpful, and the hotel is close to shops. For couples, it’s even more suitable since the rooms only come with a couple bed. But if you’re going with a friend and want separate beds, it’s not very convenient.

Feedback from my other room friends: the towels not washed thoroughly! Stains are visible and slightly brownish looking! My room 1010, which was supposed to be an ungraded room, curtain hooks came off easily and curtains not able to cover completely from the brightness! The bathtub drain water filter was not working properly resulting in water accumulating after a bath.  Breakfast was not too bad and reasonably-priced. Karaoke room 208 at level 2 was not cold even after adjusted the temperature and fan speed.

The staff are very polite and friendly. Services is great. Location also convenient. Near foodcourt and walkable distance to treasure bay.

Hotel muy decente para escapadas cortas, vista panorámica de los amaneceres si puedes conseguir una unidad con vista al mar. Debes despertarte entre las 5:30 y las 6:00 a. m. para verlo. Playa limpia y entorno tranquilo. En algunas cuadras, especialmente en la colina, es relativamente difícil caminar. La comida es un poco salada, aunque tal vez sea culpa nuestra. Y espero que el desayuno pueda mejorar.

I think the other reviews on trip.com are not accurate. Hotel is not refurbished. Deco is nice in room and everywhere. But all are old, with stains, dust and even cobwebs. Toilet routings are blackish with wat looks like old stains. The worst part is the water pipings. I suspect their pipes are rusty, as water for shower n sink smells metallic and yellowish in color. The pillow n bolster all smells musty, feels really old. Good that studio room has pantry, big fridge and bath tub. The breakfast options are limited, taste is just normal.
