Our stay at Oldfields House was outstanding we were shown our room then offered another with a stunning four post bed, which we settled into quite quickly. The staff on check in were amazing and fixed us up promptly and courteously. Breakfast was delicious and filling and our coffee was perfect.

The hotel's location is fantastic for exploring the city, and the staff we interacted with were generally friendly.
The breakfast was a definite highlight – a wide variety of hot and cold options, all of good quality. It did get very busy, so if you order something from the kitchen like a cooked-to-order omelette, be prepared for a short wait. It was worth it, though!

La señal del móvil es mala y depende del wifi. El wifi es débil, lo que provoca que la transmisión de vídeo se bloquee. Una noche está bien, pero si se queda más de un día, es mejor elegir un hotel con mejor alojamiento.

Lovely hotel great location, the only negative was I saw people filling up their water bottles from near the coffee machine. The bottle was touching the rim of the water outlet. The hotel should stop this as it’s not not very hygienic . On ships. they have a separate water station where you can fill up a bottle with water. Apart from that love bath and great Hotel

Excellent stay at a beautiful Georgian home. Room was clean and warm. Tea/ coffee hot chocolate in the room. A very lovely and central place to explore the city of Bath. Hosts were very attentive and helpful. Great choice of food for breakfast. A very lovely stay

El hotel es popular. El salón es muy agradable. Además de tener una pila de viejas casas cuando acaban de entrar en la habitación, el aire no está muy bien. Ok, la casa es vieja, pero no hay sentido de que la elección de desayuno es rica.

Muy bonita habitación en estilo en el tamaño y en los accesorios.
El único problema es la escalera para llegar a las habitaciones, es importante saber si usted tiene imposibles o grandes maletas.
20 minutos a pie de la estación de Bath. 18 minutos en autobús y a pie.
En general, lo aconsejo sin duda.

Ventajas: Salir del animado centro de la ciudad, simplemente vivir en el primer piso, el hermoso jardín fuera de la ventana, tiene un momento realmente relajante. La habitación es grande y las instalaciones son antiguas pero completas con un toque vintage. El bagel de desayuno es un gran punto culminante, y el desayuno estándar es comparable al de otros hoteles del Reino Unido, que es increíblemente delicioso. El personal de servicio también es muy cálido y amable, pero también muy gracioso, todo tipo de bromas conmigo. Desventajas: Mi supuesta cama grande está formada por dos camas individuales, no se puede dormir en el medio.

I booked this hotel in Bath through trip.com. I took advantage of two promotions on the platform: a £5.99 railcard purchase and £5 off train tickets, both requiring booking a European hotel within 26 days through trip.com. Considering that the official website’s prices were quite similar, I went with the trip.com booking. I reserved a cozy room for 1 adult without breakfast for £113. Money-saving tip: I used TopCashback to access trip.com, earning $7.67 cashback for this booking. After I checked out, trip.com triggered an immediate discount of £10.46, which I applied to my next train ticket purchase.

This hotel falls under the Marriott Tribute Portfolio, embracing a boutique hotel approach. The entire establishment dates back to 1739, boasting a historic exterior. It’s conveniently situated just about 3 minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths and across from Sally Lunn’s. With my Marriott Platinum Card, even with a third-party reservation, the hotel upgraded us to a larger ground floor room facing the street after matching our account, but it’s not advisable due to potential noise. They also offered complimentary à la carte breakfast. Breakfast slots had to be reserved during check-in, and we chose a table at 10 AM. The breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant had a charming and lovely atmosphere. The experience was excellent (the best things are free!). Unfortunately, I don’t have space for more photos, but I’ll post one of the restaurant later.
The room was quite small, designed in a modern British style, with a movie-themed decor according to the posters on the wall. All the amenities were provided, with local brand toiletries available for purchase at the front desk for £25 for two bottles. They were decent, but nothing extraordinary to consider bringing back home. The minibar had coffee, various teas, semi-skimmed milk packets, and biscuits. The bottled still water was in an aesthetically pleasing canned form.
🌟 There’s an Elemis sleep kit on the bedside: temple balm/sleep mist/eye cream, placed over a hotel postcard, looking quite exquisite.
The bed was very comfortable.
❌ However, there were a few drawbacks to this place… a bit unnerving… I’m not sure if I just had bad luck. The hotel corridors were somewhat confusing, and I accidentally opened the wrong room door once using my own room card. Strangely, the next day around ten o’clock, while I was in the bathroom and my son was on the bed, despite securing the latch on our door, someone managed to open it slightly, presumably seeing my son on the bed, and then closed the door. Perhaps it was a housekeeping staff member wanting to clean the room? Regardless, it felt quite odd… a little unsettling, to be honest

LLiam and JennyAttended on Tuesday 27th Feb. Paid a little extra for room with a bath as like the couple ****** we are, we wanted a bath in Bath. My wife's first time ever visiting here. The hotel is a lovely setting, there is history here and all the staff have been wonderful. Close to the station, literally in front of it, and close to everything. Had the great pleasure of having many encounters with Tim, one of the reception staff and I believe concierges. Super pleasant and always helpful.
We had breakfast included and after having that this morning can honestly say it's bang for your buck, with hot food to order including steak and eggs, (best steak my wife has had in the UK), a breakfast grill and a selection of others plus a typical selection of baked goods and fruits. The bar is pleasant and we enjoyed drinks last night before heading up to our room. Strawberry daiquiri we have had many times but the Amaretto sour was an interesting twist with a strong lemon zest.
The only downside to the visit would be the bath/shower experience. Lukewarm bath and cold shower when we attempted it last night. This morning we got hot water for a total of ten mins to share before it went cold again. Not the worst thing all in all but a downside considering the extra pricing for a bathtub room. I was however assured that had I brought it to the desks attention I would have been assisted and I had just done the British thing of not wanting to fuss.
One last perk that made an impact to me; free luggage storage. We checked out early so we could make the best of our time exploring Bath before we ride home. We were offered free luggage storage for even after we checked out so we could come back in quick before our train at 3pm and grab our bags and go, no extra charge. Fantastically useful as the Abbey tour does not allow luggage inside and we wanted to go.
Anyway, thank you to Tim and all the staff at The Royal for making us feel welcomed and our time there special, we will definitely be coming back someday soon and will stay again. - Liam and Jenny Stephenson, Room 109.

UUsuario invitadoWe spent 3 nights at the Lansdown Grove. Absolutely lovely stay. All of the staff were amazing. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was fine. Clean , a lovely shower and plenty of tea/ coffee. The restaurant is really nice and the food is superb ( particularly the Butter Chicken ). Excellent breakfast. Only downside is the parking charge of £1 a day. Not necessary to charge residents to park. We will return .

UUsuario invitadoIt was a very special reunion for a group of nurses celebrating 50 years since we started our course in May 1975. In those days this hotel was a nurse's home and we all lived here for around 18 months. We had booked lunch,the food was lovely and the service was amazing. We so enjoyed our stay, 5 of us stayed for one or two nights. So beautiful and peaceful, couldn't have been better. Benice organised things for us, highly recommend her if you are booking an event.

UUsuario invitadoAmazing value for money; simple selections of food, compact no frills chalets: could do with a bit of attention to detail with deep cleaning; decent bedding and towels, fantastic and varied entertainment generally throughout the day and late into the evening; most acts are really good. Nice to be able to set up to work remotely in the ballroom during the day and take in the fun that holiday makers are having. The Blue Coats are an engaging team. Drink prices are OK for a setting like this. We are 53 and 58 and on the younger scale of most holiday makers but whatever age, this adult only holiday park delivers quality for money hands down. Bus travels from the road outside the site to Weston Super Mare hourly during the day; beach is just a walk away down the site entrance. Taxi's are affordable if a comfi trip into town is wanted. Can imagine how amazing this establishment will be in summer (and they don't seem to hike the prices to eye watering levels during the warmer months). The range of themed weekday stays (4 days Mon-Fri) and weekend (Fri-Mon) are varied. We need to be in the WSM area for a couple of months - staying at various hotels / establishments, but now we have found Sand Bay, we have chosen to book here for several weeks back to back. For that reason, we have brought our own bedding with us, to personalise our chalet and make it more homely for our extended stay. Reception team are generally welcoming and efficient and Jade the holiday booking team member is ever so helpful. Well done Sand Bay!
