The hotel is over a hundred years old, since 1844. I felt as though I went through a time portal when I stepped into the dining area. Part of the hotel’s appeal is the history of the hotel. Don’t expect a modern hotel but rather embrace the well-detailed history on display throughout the hotel. The hotel is located in the heart of the downtown area.

La cama estaba confortable. La vista fue increíble. El personal estaba muy amigable. La ubicación está muy cerca del centro, pero arriba de una colina muy tranquila. La comida es buena, EXCEPTO el mutton biryani. No ordene a la Mutton Biryani que era sólo carne dura grasa que no podía masticar a menos que quieras sentirse como si estás masticando una vieja pieza de goma.

Hotel Suisse carries a colonial charm that takes you back in time. The food is good, offering a fair range of choices. However, the dining experience was slightly marred by some worn napkins. The air conditioning in our room was a bit loud, but it didn't keep us from having a comfortable stay. I might look into other hotels in the area next time to experience something different.

Nice hotel with a great view over the river. Some of the furniture in the rooms are a bit dated and could do with some DIY. The room lighting could be improved and the odour inside the washroom should be better managed. Beds were comfy, rooms were very spacious and the facilities in the hotel were good. Food was tasty and had a wide variety.

Ubicación conveniente, abundante desayuno buffet y servicio cálido. Principalmente, la ubicación es muy conveniente. Las instalaciones interiores deberían ser más antiguas. Los grupos de turistas rusos también vivían allí.

This hotel in Sigiriya was very nice, the room was spacious, the food selection at the restaurant was great! :) the pool is facing the Lion’s rock and it’s super beautiful. The hotel is just 5 to 10 mins drive to the rock , so quite convenient to get there for your hike. Recommend you to do hike in the early morning , so there are not so many people. The service was excellent. Recommend.

Este hotel está en la montaña. Hay muchos hoteles en la montaña en Kandy y la carretera es tan pequeña que el conductor condujo en la dirección equivocada varias veces durante la noche y finalmente llegó allí. Los dulces de bienvenida en la puerta no olían muy bien porque llegamos demasiado tarde y los niños estaban cansados, por lo que no prestamos mucha atención a la habitación. Sin embargo, estaba bastante limpia y el precio era muy asequible. El día siguiente también fue rico en variedad y había muchos cuervos afuera, desayunamos y comimos afuera. El cuervo se acercó y se llevó un trozo de pan, lo cual fue impactante.

Sigiriya village was an exceptional stay! From the moment that we arrived we were taken care of with great service and friendliness! The surroundings are so beautiful with lush green trees, monkeys and other animals. The room was spacious, clean and well decorated. The staff is friendly and always willing to assist. The best part was the amazing buffet dinner! Amazing selection with superb quality food! Sigiriya Village is well located and you can see the rock from the swimming pool area. Definitely recommend staying here!
