En realidad, este hotel está dentro de Star **, por lo que el desayuno se sirve allí. Hay una piscina en el horizonte, pero hay mucha gente. Las habitaciones son bastante grandes y todas tienen balcones. Están ubicadas en el medio de las dos estaciones de GTram, por lo que se tarda 20 minutos en llegar primero. La cercana estación de Broadbeach es una estación importante y también está cerca de un importante centro comercial, por lo que es muy conveniente. 
La habitación de la habitación era muy agradable, pero la habitación estaba muy bien. Es una lástima que los problemas con Internet y TV no se hayan resuelto antes de que mi estancia haya terminado.
Super süsses Häuschen, haben uns gefühlt wie im Dschungel zwischen so vielen Pflanzen. Wir hatten eine Hütte richtung Ende und Ausgang zum Parkplatz, somit war es eigentlich ganz ruhig. Es gibt einen kostenlosen Parkplatz dazu, hier hat es Platz für alle Arten von Autos. Lage ist perfekt, wirklich mitten drin.

The Staff were wonderful and so helpful, the food in the restaurant was amazing. This hotel is very opulent and beautiful.

The hotel staff are very thoughtful. We booked for two adults and one child, and they had everything prepared upon our arrival, including an extra bed with additional towels, soap, and other essentials.
The location is fantastic—everything is within walking distance. The front desk staff are kind and friendly, always ready to assist with anything we need. I even left some belongings behind, and they responded promptly to resolve the issue.
I highly recommend this hotel!

Lovely hotel. Stayed in 3 different hotels on this trip and Amora was the best by a long way.
A little outside the CBD but only $10uber ride away.
Restaurant wasn’t best over priced and I k food. Rooms though were top notch. Would I stay again definitely
La tranquilidad y la amplia 々 es muy buena. Sólo hay un viaje muy corto a la calle comercial cercana, no hay problema en las compras y es fácil llegar a las atracciones turísticas. Hay muchos pañales en la habitación que son un problema, por favor, maneje.
Perfecto para los ancianos, es hermoso y se siente como casa.

But when it comes to booking and service this is another story .. for the money I paid to stay 2 night I thought this would be the perfect place to rest I’m 5 star style .. place yes , service a disaster. Firstly when I arrived at Swiss bel .. I went to reception to book in as I booked online a queen bed room he asked if I had a vehicle I said yes agreed to the $35 a night and he said he would just take it out of the bond I paid at end if that was ok I said yes perfect .. when I got up to my room it was 2 single I called reception and advised I had booked a queen bed and there is 2 singles he said oh the house keeper hadn’t changed the beds or didn’t look at booking , I asked if someone could just come up and fix .. he said there is noone to do this now come down and j will find another room for you . I went down stairs said I would go get something to eat and when I come back hopefully a room will be sorted. I came back he advised me that he had upgraded me and I asked if I could have the new key and I will switch rooms and come back down with the other key to save me bringing my luggage down and then back up again. I got to room and key didn’t work to go to 6th floor . So I brought my luggage down and told reception that key didn’t work . He said sometimes this happens with those keys /actually quite often said he would come up with me and check . Yes card did not work so he used his staff card to let me in said he would fix and come back . He came back 10mins later to test and it had been foxed . Not sure what the upgrade as as room was smaller than the first , had no shower gel (was empty container when I went into have a shower) thought it may have been replenished on next day with room
Clean still empty on second day and cleaner took face washers and never replaced them so I washed with shampoo and a hand towel .. when I came back on second day went to put card into open the car park and it didn’t work .. I went to reception to let them know I was trying to get into car park and the card doesn’t work, she (Asian lady) advised me that I hadn’t paid for parking .. I had to explain everything from the night before then asked me they will take it out of my bind I said yes that’s what I agreed with the night before . No apology just more interested in getting payment for parking. She added parking to

I later received a phone call from a lady called Theresa asking how my stay was and I explain that it has been the most disappointing experience I have had ever ! Explained the above she said she would come and replace the shower gel and face washers I said it’s ok I have already had my shower used a hand towel and shampoo because I’m already in bed .. she said that I hope that my stay apologetic on my experience already , I hope it is better from now and if I need anything to contact her and ask for Theresa I said thank you I appreciated the call … then then 10
Minutes later she comes knocking on my door I have to get dress to answer the door she knocks again I said I’m coming
She is at the door with the shower gel and face washers getting me out of bed . I understand why she brought it but I told her I was in bed and I had already showered . So then I go to hand my key in to check out to be told I have outstanding parking I need to pay .. I advised Theresa that it is coming out of the bond payed and this has been told now to 3 people .. as I said place is absolutely fantastic.. apart from missing shower gel and tissues

UUsuario invitadoHad to wait while one of our 2 rooms was made up but the room that was supposed to have been made up had only had the beds done. Toothpaste splattered across the bathroom mirror, toilet unscrubbed, no face washers, hand towel or bath mat though there were fresh towels on the beds.
The kitchen hadn't been done as there was no dish cloth or liquid for cleaning only 2 tea cups, no mugs and the fridge contained half eaten yoghurt, a full bag of grapes and a 1/4 of rotten watermelon its juices all crusted under it.
The well frosted freezer contained a partially eaten iceblock frosted into the freezer, obviously it had been there long enough to be frosted to it.
The kitchen had not been stocked with tea coffee sugar or most importantly for me milk (being a little fussy I bring my own tea and coffee)
I have doubts about if it was vaccumed due to the pills as several other items on the carpet. I mention the pills as we had young children with us.
The aircon remote had no batteries or back to it but we just swopped out the batteries for the T.V. remote
The cleaner sent to remedy this politely made it clear that she wasn't the one who'd made up the room. She cleaned the mirror restocked the face washers, hand towel and bath mat, removed the food from the fridge and freezer and upon request gave me a cloth for me to scrub off the crusted watermelon juice.
The beds were clean (I checked) with fresh sheets and comfortable. They were clear that they expected courtesy to others by not making alot of noise late at night or slamming doors. The pool area could have been cleaned. I don't know where the dirt came from but it was there when we arrived and still there when we left. The lobby chairs I wouldn't sit in, needed a good scrub with soap and water.
They unlocked the freezer at the Cafe late one night for us to buy ice cream. The staff were helpful and polite. The kids loved playing ping pong and swimming.

CChih minWe stayed in the hotel for three days(7/7-7/10). On the first day, no one came to clean the room. We thought we needed to notify the service counter to arrange cleaning. On the second day, we used the ”cleaning notification” button on the phone in the morning, but no one came to clean the next day. On the third day, we reported it to the service counter in the morning, and they said they would arrange for a cleaning staff. As a result, when we returned to the room on the third night, we found that it was still not cleaned (this was the first time we were deceived). So we called the service counter again, hoping that at least they could change the bath towels for us to use. The service counter staff replied that they would ask someone to bring us clean bath towels, but they did not keep their promise in the end. We were deceived again.

La habitación es muy amplia, la cama muy cómoda, la piscina del hotel, aunque no es enorme, es suficiente, dispone de zona para comer exterior.
El desayuno que ofrece el alojamiento por 10$ es abundante y bueno. Nosotros lo cogimos una de las mañanas con el extra de bacon y huevos y solo con el extra ya nos hubiera sido suficiente gracias a sus generosas porciones. Para los precios de Australia es muy recomendable desayunar aquí

JJi around the worldWe’ve stayed at a The Village hostel in Canberra before and had a rather good experience, this was our first time in Cairns and we greatly appreciated their hospitality once again!
The hostel was huge, the rooms were very spacious and we overall were offered everything we needed (laundry room, all equipped kitchen, bathrooms, etc).
It was a short stay but we really enjoyed how close the hostel was from the local pool and night market!
It’s a 20-min taxi drive from the airport (note that there’s no public transport in this area of the city).
Would definitely recommend The Village overall, why not try some of their other locations in the upcoming future!
PPHILLIP JAMESThe Mantra Hotel has outstanding location. It is directly in front of the Woolworths supermarket - the best option in central Cairns. It's also virtually opposite (the esplanade side)the lagoon public beachfront swimming pool. Finally it's just a 5 minute walk from Cairns Cruise Terminal, with outstanding day trips to Green Island, Fitzroy Island and the Reef. I booked a sea view room. When you enter the room, you don't see the ocean, but a building across the road. However, the view from the balcony was amazing. The balcony overlooks the main features of lagoon on the sea front. During the day it is great view - the lagoon pools and sea in the background. At night you cannot see the sea (as to be expected) but you have the amazing lagoon lights, which makes it very desirable and even romantic. Our room was at the end of block, which overlooks a shopping mall (no car noise) - looking right from the balcony is the lagoon view and looking left is a mountain view. However, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm the sun comes directly into the balcony area, which means it unusable until sun sets. Of course if you don't mind baking in the sun on the balcony, this is not really a concern. The room itself is pretty basic. The mini fridge of OK and TV has domestic channels only - no cable TV for BBC/CNN. The bathroom is of a good size. There is combined shower & bath. However, when using the shower, it can slightly flood this bathroom. A shower curtain may be desirable because the glass panel is not sufficient enough. At $225 per night this hotel was not cheap and you can better deals by coming in the off-season OR going bit further down the esplanade, and choosing another hotel. The Mantra does have its own pool and it is wonderfully heated, with normal deck chairs you would expect at 4 star hotel. However, the pool gets very little natural sunlight, because it of its location between 2 buildings. Overall, the hotel has amazing location, and it is still recommended, despite the shortcomings mentioned. My final note: When we checked in, I was impressed with the level of service provided by the receptionist. She had a very welcome attitude and a wonderful personality.
UUsuario invitadoSurfers Beach Holiday Apartments was a great place to stay for our family. The management was helpful. Rooms were of a good size. The location is quiet. It is a easy walk to catch the G:tram. This makes getting to Surfers Paradise or other locations easy. Riding the G is also much cheaper and easier than trying to find parking for the car. While we were there, there were few people using the pool. Our grandkids had a great time... and mostly had the pool to themselves. I didn't realize there wasn't an elevator.(My fault for not checking.) Being on the third floor normally wouldn't have been an issue. Because of health issues for one of our family members, it would have been easier if we had been on a lower floor. If I had contacted the management when booking they said they would have tried to give us a lower floor. It's a great place and I highly recommend it.
