Era un hostal normalito. La cocina estaba muy bien, pero casi no tenía ventilación, así que si alguien quemaba algo, el olor y el humo se quedaban durante mucho tiempo. Lo mismo ocurría con las habitaciones: no se podían abrir las ventanas ni las puertas, así que no entraba aire fresco. En general, estaba bastante limpio y la ubicación era buena.

The hotel room was clean, spacious, and clearly recently renovated. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to store our luggage safely in a locked baggage room. The hotel grounds are beautiful, with clean and very attractive pool areas surrounded by lush plants. In the early evening, you can even see fruit bats flying over the property, which adds a special touch to the atmosphere. The hotel is a bit further away from the city centre, but only 15min from the airport.

La única queja es la ubicación, ya que los autobuses al centro de Brisbane tienen largas esperas. Sin embargo, esto obliga a este hikikomori a caminar más por la hermosa costa del río. Es recomendable alquilar un vehículo con antelación. Además, parece que no hay ninguna tienda de conveniencia ni supermercado cerca. En cuanto a las comodidades, hay lavandería y secadora (4 AUD + 4 AUD) y cocina compartida. Pero no hay toallas, zapatillas, cepillo de dientes, maquinilla de afeitar, champú ni gel de ducha, así que recuerde traer los suyos.

La habitación es muy agradable, con un buen diseño y espaciosas. A la proximidad de la piscina y el restaurante, me alegra que fue una noche tranquila el lunes y no un fin de semana de otra manera el ruido podría haber sido un problema. Buen servicio y delicioso alimento. El lugar tenía un ambiente agradable, grande para conocer a amigos o familia y disfrutar del ambiente.

En general, el sitio es bonito; parece que estés en medio de la selva, es tranquilo y se ve que limpian constantemente (la cocina es lo único que estaba bastante sucia, pero es más por culpa de los huéspedes). La habitación individual con litera es un poco incómoda: muy poco espacio, cama muy estrecha y corta, solo un par de ganchos para colgar ropa y una única luz de techo (podrían, por ejemplo, poner una lucecita cerca de la cama). Overall, the place is nice; it feels like you’re in the middle of the jungle, it’s quiet, and you can tell it’s cleaned regularly (the kitchen was the only area that was quite dirty, but that’s more down to the guests). The single bunk room is a bit uncomfortable: very little space, a very narrow and short bed, only a couple of hooks for clothes, and just one ceiling light (they could, for example, add a small bedside light).

El hotel está situado en el centro de la ciudad, con fácil acceso a la Esplanada, a los mercados nocturnos y a atracciones divertidas como la rueda Ferris. Todo está a una distancia de caminar, lo que hizo que explorar Cairns tan fácil y agradable. El hotel es limpio, cómodo y bien mantenido. El personal era amable, bienvenido y siempre feliz de ayudar. Las noches alrededor de la zona son vivas, con grandes opciones de comida cerca de vibes de la calle y una hermosa atmósfera. En general, un gran lugar para permanecer si quieres confort, comodidad y disfrutar realmente de la experiencia de Cairns.

First of all, this is not a 5* Hotel and is not trying to be. This is a budget place to stay and with that in mind, I thought it was great. The rooms were large enough, had a table and chairs, kettle, fridge, microwave, cutlery, the most amenities so far in 4 months of travelling. On top of that, there is a modest pool and a large cooking area that has utensils which was really useful for us budget travellers. The location is as good as we could have got, 30 mind walk to the train station and harbour, an hour walk from the airport. The place also has parking. Although - it was a little dirty and rusty in places - there were lots of tiny roaches which comes with the territory, but still worth mentioning - there were 3 floors in our block, each with a toilet, our toilet was cleaned but no toilet paper replenished for the 3 days we were there

Every interaction felt genuine — the staff clearly take pride in what they do, and it shows in every detail of the guest experience. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay with world-class service and a truly welcoming atmosphere, I can’t recommend the Emporium Hotel highly enough. It’s an experience that exceeds expectations in every way.”

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding Stay! We stayed in the 2 Bed Family Villa at Chinchilla Motor Inn and couldn’t have been happier. The villa was modern, spotless, and very comfortable — everything felt fresh and well maintained. The location is excellent, convenient yet quiet, making it perfect for families. What truly impressed us, though, was the amazing service. Our daughter accidentally left her beloved Kindle behind, and the staff went above and beyond to help. They carefully packed it in a bubble-wrap envelope and posted it back to us free of charge, even though we offered to cover the cost and their time. It arrived safely, and we’re so grateful for their kindness and honesty. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. We’d highly recommend Chinchilla Motor Inn to anyone — fantastic facilities and even better people!

Me gustó mucho el ambiente, pero el desayuno estuvo bien, pero realmente desearía que tuviera panqueques y jarabe de arce o waffles 🧇 😩 😁 aparte de eso, fue genial, oh, excepto que desearía que mi habitación estuviera más insonorizada, podía escuchar autos toda la noche y un hombre borracho afuera en la calle a las 4 am, me desperté el sábado, sé que es fin de semana, pero y luego pude escuchar a un bebé llorar toda la noche del viernes también, así que esa primera noche ni siquiera pude dormir, pero de todos modos, aparte de la habitación no insonorizada, fue muy agradable, además no tenían Biblias 🥺😖 ¿Qué hotel no tiene una Biblia? Dios ayude a este mundo
