Boutique Hotel Nossek

La pensión Nossek está ubicada en un edificio antiguo en el centro de la ciudad. Como sugiere el nombre, esta es una casa de huéspedes de estilo antiguo. Si quieres sentir que has sido transportado cien años al pasado, te encantará este lugar. Si espera la comodidad de un hotel moderno, puede sentirse un poco decepcionado. La ubicación es genial. A pocos pasos de la Catedral de San Esteban, la Ópera de Viena, etc. El personal es extremadamente agradable y servicial. Muy limpio. ¡Mi habitación fue limpiada incluso el domingo! El desayuno es bastante decente y se sirve durante mucho tiempo, para que no tengas que levantarte temprano en la mañana. Muy buena relación precio-valor. Definitivamente lo usaré si voy a Viena en el futuro.

Coming from a first-time female solo traveler, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience than this hotel. Location — You can’t beat the location for both walking and taking public transport. It’s also next door to a grocery store called Julius Meinl, which adds a whole other layer of convenience. The area is safe at all hours of the day. Although the crowded city center is right outside the door, the hotel itself is peaceful and quiet, and I never heard any of the outside noise from my room. Staff — The staff was extremely friendly, the front desk felt like a safe space where I could ask questions and they were happy to answer them and provide any resources or help I needed. I arrived before check-in time and expected to just leave my luggage with the front desk, but the staff checked and let me know my room was ready and treated it like it was no inconvenience for me to check in early. Amenities — Housekeeping leaves a fresh jug of water in your room each day, and there was an included buffet-style continental breakfast each morning. The breakfast was my favorite part, as there was always a large assor**ent of breads, meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies, jams, spreads, you name it. There is also a high tech coffee machine that will make any drink you want in seconds. The wifi was fast and reliable, and the air conditioning was so good I had to turn it down at some points. Bathroom was well stocked with full size shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion, towels, tp, tissues, etc. I really couldn’t come up with a shortcoming or complaint about this hotel if I tried. I’d highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Vienna, but especially if it’s your first time traveling alone and want to stay somewhere friendly, calm and close to everything.

Very surprised to read soo many positive reviews... there is very little positive to say about this hotel other than its location! Staff was unfriendly, when we checked in the man standing next to the lady did not even bother to say hello, the rooms are old and tired and more importantly the entire place was just one MASSIVE construction site, noizy and no warnings prior to booking! Stay elsewhere there are MUCH better places in Vienna.

I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Nossek. We arrived late in the evening so the reception was closed but they sent us very clear instruction to enable us to access our room. Our room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was fine. The breakfast was really good and the staff were pleasant and helpful. The main advantage of the hotel is its location on Graben. This is right in the heart of Vienna very close to the cathedral. The main disadvantages were firstly that the internet connection was very poor and secondly that the front of the hotel including our window was covered by scaffolding.

I have just left this hotel and am currently at the airport waiting for my flight home. This hotel has been so nice I couldn't wait to recommend it. It is more or less central for everything. It was a 5 minute walk from Stephansplatz Station, 5 minutes from the Hofburg, 10-15 to Rathausplatz xmas market, 5 minutes am hof market etc. And right in the centre of all the luxury brand shopping you could ever imagine in one place. The hotel itself is so warm and welcoming with so many original features. Imagine high ceilings and stained glass windows and not a plastic chair in sight. I had a single room and it was perfect for me. The bed was so comfy and the shower was lovely and hot. It really it lovely. But the jewel in the crown has to be the ladies on reception, they are all so helpful and knowledgeable of the area. I suffered quite a bad knee injury before I left the UK and was unable to cancel my trip, so I tried to hire a mobility scooter while I was in Vienna. The lady on reception tried to help. I eventually managed to find one, and she was so pleased for me. I was able to leave it at the entrance. Breakfast was very tasty, lots of breads, meats, cheeses, yoghurt etc. The staff were there and not intrusive at all, but were handy if needed. If I return to Vienna, which I hope to do at some point in the future I'll definitely try and stay here again. Just one thing I would like to point out, and it is certainly not a criticism, is the fact that it is not suitable for wheelchair reliant guests, as there are three stairs into the lift to take you up to the hotel

Great value if you book early. Great location and spacious and clean room with lovely staff. Only one thing I didn't like was towels for shower are too small unless you're size6. Lovely selection of breakfast too.

Booked this hotel because of its location, right in the middle of the city, brilliant. We asked them to organise an airport shuttle and the lady they use was absolutely lovely, very talkative and helpful, obviously we booked her for the trip back… The hotel itself is grand, rich in history and rooms very clean and tidy. The ladies on reception were super helpful and showed us around the restaurant and breakfast area, all included for us and was brilliant (order the omelet, to die for…) We came and went at our leisure and would recommend it to anyone planning a wee city break in Vienna…
