La habitación era buena, el parking interior medio (un poco estrecho y costoso (15,00 EUR por 24 horas)). El personal - tres damas - no se preocupaba mucho por el buffet (las rodillas de pan y los huevos descascarillados estaban vacíos), pero el huésped tiene que pedir que lo llene, aunque había muchos huéspedes en el desayuno. Además, tienes que ir al desayuno bar para pedir té caliente, café, etc., ya que nadie del personal se sentía responsable de ir a la mesa del huésped para preguntar si se desea té caliente, café, etc. Lo mismo con las placas sucias en las mesas. No hay personal que lo limpie. Por 100,00 EUR por una noche incluyendo desayuno - ocupación única - en una ciudad de tal tamaño medio de Venlo puedo esperar un servicio proactivo y atento a los huéspedes! Probablemente no recomiendo Theaterhotel Venlo. P.S. ¡En el desayuno es muy elaborado, ya que no hay puertas y forma parte del enorme lobby de entrada del teatro de Venlo.

Wij hebben hier van vrijdag 9 tot en met zondag 11 december verbleven. We hadden een arrangement met 2 overnachtingen, 2 keer ontbijt en 1 keer een 2-gangendiner. Het was een vast diner. Helaas lustte ik dat niet, maar men bood een prima alternatief. Mijn vrouw had wel het vaste diner. Het eten smaakte heerlijk. Ontbijt prima. Ook zeer vriendelijk personeel. Het hotel ligt direct tegenover het station van Venlo. Het enige nadeel vond ik dat de kamer wat gehorig was en dat de badkamer na het douchen blank kwam te staan.

A group of six of us stayed at the Maashof hotel on what was the last night of a 10 day motorcycle tour and it was also my birthday. I had carefully chosen the hotel in the hope that we would have a lovely stay and dinner in a beautiful lakeside location. Unfortunately there were several issues which cast a significant shadow over my birthday celebrations and ruined our stay. The problems started when checking in when they overcharged two of my friends and they would have overcharged another friend and myself, had I not noticed and intervened. I had booked four single occupancy rooms and one double occupancy room and there was an administrative issue between *********** and the hotel which caused confusion over how many guests were staying in each room, despite the hotel having the names of the six guests against each booked room. All of us were asked when checking in how many guests were staying in each room, but despite this two friends were charged the double occupancy room rate and one friend was charged for two half board dinners despite them all being in rooms on their own. In addition, they also attempted to overcharge us for the half board option despite me accepting a special offer online which had been emailed to me prior to arrival. We then had a further major issue. Three of the rooms were directly underneath the kitchen and hotel entrance and were extremely noisy until very late in the evening and again the next morning starting around 5.30am which meant several of us had a very disturbed night. Two of my friends complained at the time and agreed with the duty manager that they would have the full cost of their room refunded, as he was unable to offer them an alternative room. He advised them that if we had wanted better, quieter rooms we should have booked directly with the hotel rather than through *********** and he told my friend to email the Reservations Manager regarding the refund. The hotel management have admitted that the rooms we stayed in are very noisy, but there was no mention of this when we booked and they still charged the full room rate. On our return to the UK, I emailed the Reservations Manager and following many exchanges she offered a 25% refund for the three rooms most affected by the noise, despite the duty manager’s earlier promise of a full refund. Personally I thought this paltry offer did not provide sufficient remuneration for the problems we encountered but I felt I had no choice but to accept. I subsequently provided my bank details in an email but the refund was not forthcoming. I chased regularly by email as to why the refund was taking so long only to be told cross-border, cross-currency bank transfers take a long time and ”it will arrive within a few days” and then “as soon as possible”. Despite these repeated assurances it took 3 weeks for me to receive the refund and only then after several more emails including to the hotel General Manager who at one point decided to attack my pe

El personal es muy agradable y el desayuno es satisfactorio, pero desafortunadamente el buffet está cerrado. (Obligado a elegir lo que quiere el día anterior ...) El espacio adecuado para su precio puede resultar un poco pequeño. Por otro lado, hay mucho ruido detrás de las paredes y el techo, lo que puede deberse a un aislamiento deficiente. Situación tranquila en el bosque, pero no tan lejos del centro de la ciudad. Para viajar puedes alquilar bicicleta en la recepción. Gran sonrisa, muy verdugo. Gran desayuno, centrado en el ahorro de medio ambiente. Nice piscina y sauna.

Fabulous hotel, overall people friendly, food is delicious especially the buffet breakfast, so healthy. So clean and we were particularly taken by the fragrance when we entered. A lovely touch, The kind receptionist told us where we could buy it. So clean. Road works make it difficult to walk around.
