We recently stayed at Irnaqana Villa by GenuineHost in the Ubud and were thoroughly impressed by the architectural design and overall experience. This is not just another new villa (open late 2025), it’s a beautifully conceived private sanctuary where modern elegance meets natural tropical living in perfect harmony. Irnaqana consists of only four villas, each one a completely separate building. This gives every guest total privacy and the feeling of having your own exclusive retreat, which is rare and highly appreciated. The First Impression: A Brilliant Design Moment. From the moment you arrive, the entrance sets the tone. The elegantly designed door is a masterstroke, as it opens, it dramatically reveals the entire private swimming pool in one breathtaking view. It’s cinematic and instantly relaxing. No obstructed sightlines, just pool and lush greenery waiting for you. This clever architectural choice makes the outdoor space feel like an extension of the living area and creates that “wow” factor right away. Lush Garden & Natural Surroundings and water flow sound. The garden is lush and thoughtfully planted with a wonderful variety of tropical plants that feel completely natural and established. It’s not overly manicured, instead, it blends beautifully with the surrounding rice fields and countryside, giving a genuine sense of being immersed in Bali’s nature. Morning light filtering through the leaves, birdsong, and the gentle breeze made our mornings on the terrace truly special. Spacious Interior with Impressive High Ceilings Inside, the villa shines with its generous proportions and smart layout. The ceilings are exceptionally high — at least 5–6 meters — which not only makes the space feel incredibly airy and luxurious but also keeps the villa naturally cooler throughout the day. This is a game-changer in Bali’s climate. The unit is cleverly split into two distinct yet connected zones: • On the left side you have the dining and TV lounge area — perfect for relaxed meals or evening entertainment at the sunken seating. • On the right side is the bedroom with a bathtub and bathroom wing. Both sides offer ample space, so nothing feels cramped. The design elegantly balances modern lines, high-quality materials, and natural elements, clean aesthetics paired with warm tones and textures that nod to Balinese tradition without feeling clichéd. Every piece of furniture, lighting, and finishing feels carefully chosen and of premium quality. Bedroom & Bathroom Comfort The bed is enormous and one of the most comfortable we’ve experienced in Bali. After long days of exploring Ubud or playing sports, sinking into it was pure bliss — our backs were very thankful! The bedroom feels spacious and peaceful with excellent blackout options. The bathroom is equally impressive — spotlessly clean, with strong water pressure in the shower, fresh towels daily, and good-quality toiletries. Everything felt hygienic and well-maintained. The air conditioning is powerful and gets deliciously cold although might needs 1-2 minutes, which was welcome after hot days. Combined with the high ceilings and natural ventilation, the villa stayed comfortable at all times. Location Perks. While the villa itself is tucked away in a quiet, green setting ideal for relaxation, the surrounding area is surprisingly convenient. There’s a fantastic variety of eateries within a short distance — from authentic local warungs serving delicious Balinese food to excellent international restaurants. Final Thoughts Irnaqana Villa excels in thoughtful, high-quality design that prioritizes space, light, views, and privacy. It successfully delivers both aesthetic beauty and genuine comfort. Bueno, hay que entender que esto no es un hotel de 5 estrellas, aunque quizás hace 20 años, cuando se construyó, era un proyecto de cinco estrellas. El hotel está destartalado, los desayunos son regulares, el espacio es amplio y agradable. Nos alojamos con niños; nos trajeron un cochecito para movernos por el hotel. Hay una habitación infantil, con un programa de 3 estrellas. Hay entretenimiento, como música en vivo por la noche junto a la playa. Para un par de días está bien, unas vacaciones más largas aquí pueden ser agotadoras. La habitación es acogedora, pero claramente necesita reparaciones. Colchones, almohadas, mantas... todo está bien. Salida a las 12, 10 minutos después volvimos de la playa para cambiarnos y hacer el check out; la llave ya no funcionaba, tuvimos que ir desnudos a la recepción con los niños, lo cual fue agotador (la administradora se encogió de hombros y nos dio una llave nueva). En general, un buen lugar si tienes un presupuesto limitado, pero quieres vivir en primera línea.

.Had such a lovely stay at Hilton Bali Resort. The housekeeping team were absolutely amazing and always made everything feel so comfortable and welcoming. Every staff member we came across was kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you as well for organizing the birthday cake surprise — it made my birthday feel extra special and was such a thoughtful touch. Really grateful for the beautiful experience and hospitality. Would definitely love to come back again.

El control remoto del aire acondicionado estaba bloqueado y no podía operarlo, así que le pedí al personal de recepción que lo revisara varias veces, pero nadie vino ni siquiera en medio de la noche, por lo que hacía calor y era agotador. . Mientras esperaba GRUB, algunos miembros del personal me preguntaban si podía sentarme en el sofá del restaurante y esperar. Esto no quiere decir que todos sean malos, pero siento que la calidad del servicio varía dependiendo de el personal. En la parte delantera del hotel, había muchas cafeterías y tiendas de masajes con música de club a todo volumen, y en la parte trasera del hotel, había un gran espacio en los campos de arroz. La habitación estaba limpia y la mejor relación calidad-precio. En general estuvo bien.

The resort is beautifully designed with lush greenery, creating a harmonious balance between nature and comfort. One particularly charming detail was the collection of books in various languages thoughtfully placed in each room, as well as in the lobby and by the pool. Spending time reading by the open-air swimming pool or on the beach, surrounded by such peaceful silence, offered a rare and indulgent sense of escape from the outside world.

La piscina necesita una renovación y una buena limpieza. Estaba amarilla y con aspecto resbaladizo; no parecía limpia. El restaurante debería servir comida todo el día para que uno pueda comer algo mientras está en la piscina; muchas veces no pude porque la cocina había cerrado. La habitación es estupenda, grande y espaciosa, y la ubicación es perfecta si quieres salir al club local Mexicola. La piscina del hotel está bien, solo necesita una renovación. Las habitaciones también podrían renovarse. Se ven un poco viejas. Pero por el precio, estuvo bien.

Check in was smooth. Staffs were friendly. Hotel is huge, they have 3 blocks. I got the far end of the block which was a little bit away from the reception and the restaurants and the open space for smoking. In 2 circumstances, i walked up to the room and the door card could not work. This happened in 2 different nights. I had to walk down and got it reset, but the staffs didnt bother to apologise for this. The first time it happened I was okay, but the second time it happened, I got pissed off, because it was a long walk from the room to the reception. If you order food delivery, it will be a long walk to take your food at the reception. If you got the rooms at the reception level, I'm sure it will be a great experience like the first time I was there in the Junior Suite, but this time it was not as pleasant. Thumbs up though for the housekeeping, as the found out I had many shirts lying on the sofa, they brought a small clothes rack and hung my shirts.

Excelente hotel. La habitación es muy sencilla y se corresponde totalmente con la descripción. Me gusta su honestidad. Es exactamente igual a la descripción y a lo que se ve en las fotos. Lo único negativo es que debería ser un poco más rígida. Para ser más precisos, la base de la cama debería ser rígida. Tuve que poner el colchón en el suelo la segunda noche para dormir bien, ya que se dobla como un arco sobre la base de la cama, lo que la hace muy blanda. Pero no es un gran problema. La principal característica del hotel es el exterior y el interior del vestíbulo, así como la accesibilidad a las zonas comunes, la piscina y el aparcamiento, todo lo cual lo hace bastante práctico. La recepción, abierta las 24 horas, es muy amable y profesional. Recomiendo este hotel.

Great stay. Complete breakfast with delicious fruits. Staff ready to help at anytime and very lovely. The room was very nice, including a nice bed, chair and desk for work. The shower was very good too, comparing to others I’ve stayed in Indonesia. I’d definitely stay again and for longer.
