HHansycUnexpectedly grand hotel, especially when you first walk in the front entrance. Very traditional hotel with great service, remember to book your free transport to and from the Sendai train station. The hot spring experience is as expected - comfortable, cozy, clean and relaxing. Highly recommended. The included Dinner and breakfast buffets are great and aside from the typical western food, it served up some local delicacies which were really nice and authentic. Highly recommended place for anyone looking at a day or two to unwind and relax.

UUsuario invitadoWe're able to store bags before checking in. Check in was at 14:00 which is earlier than average for Japanese business type hotel, handy after an early flight. 2 free bottles of water given daily.
Room was a little larger than average but if course still small. Room was modern feeling with everything we needed. It was quiet on the 10th floor at the end of the corridor. Slept well.
Can access JR and subway via underground passage at Exit West 1 - good if raining.
Loads of cafes and shops on doorstep.

UUsuario invitadoHotel Monterey is centrally located just outside the Sendai Station and is easily seen after you exit the station. The staff was very courteous and helpful at the time of check in. Language could be an issue but is easily manageable. I was offered a single room in a lower floor and on my request for a room on the higher floor, without any hesitation I was allotted a double room on the higher floor.
The ambience of the restaurant for breakfast was great and the variety of food served catered to Japanese and western. The breakfast was delicious.
I had to extend my stay and this was also done seamlessly without any issues.
Overall a great hotel centrally located with plenty of shopping around. If I come to Sendai again, I will return to Hotel Monterey if I visit Sendai again.

總體：不推薦，性價比低。預訂是因為温泉♨️和接近3000的單價以為能保證質量。結果挺失望的，温泉漂白粉味，廁所很重味，餐品一般，服務一般，設施老舊。
服務：號稱有接送站，平台提示提前一天預約，提前一天約沒有説滿了，送站提前三天約，也是説滿了，不是週末哦。問解決方案，沒有，自己來，自己走，離仙台JR站很遠，後來打車，單程7000円。酒店其他服務尚可，勉強日本平均水平
設施：很老舊
衞生：房間廁所很大氣味，24小時開排風也沒用
環境：周圍一般，10分鐘外磊磊峽還行
温泉：不知道是不是天然地熱温泉，反正沒有硫磺味，倒是很重的漂白粉的味道，比游泳池都要重。
餐飲：品種還是蠻多的，口味太鹹，質量不夠日本平均水平。
憑良心講如果有接送站，單價賣1500～1800到也是可以，賣了近3000，真心不值

Room and hotel both had nice amenities. But the room could have been a bit cleaner. I noticed during my 4-night-stay, that the room had not been vacuum cleaned once and two times I received a slip of paper by the cleaning staff that the cleaning could not be completed. One time they stated that there still was my stuff on the table and therefore it could not be cleaned. Another time, they did just leave the slip without checking a reason. I was confused both times, since all the things left on the table were the ones the hotel put there. The bathroom should also not only be treated for mold, but should be cleaned more thoroughly in general, since there was still dirt on the walls and cealing, which caused a small number of flies to live in the bathroom.
Some people might also find it hard to fall asleep, since the walls are thin and you can hear the noise from the street as well as the very loud bathroom vent that is on 24/7 and cannot be switched off.
Location of the hotel was easy to find and very central, so that was really nice.

DDavid2359Right next to JR station which its second floor is directly connected to the bridge leading to JR Sendai station. The staff was courteous, and provided welcome drink for free. The hotel is new. It is amazed that free icecream is provided after having a public bath!

UUsuario invitadoRoom and bed is very comfortable. Hotel is near Sendai station but Sendai station is a big station, it took a while tonfind the way to the hotel. Need to cross streets from Sendai station to reach hotel so best to go down to street level using the elevator at Sendai station first if you have luggages with you.
