«The location is excellent, very close to the station. Right behind the hotel, there’s a morning market with a fish market and plenty of delicious local food to try. The room is quite spacious and comfortable.
There’s also a beer market with beer on tap nearby, a famous grilled beef tongue restaurant right next door, and an izakaya just across from the hotel, making it very convenient for food and drinks.»

UUsuario invitadoStayed here for 1 night as a solo traveller on my way to Tokyo as well as to catch a Rakuten Golden Eagles game.
The location was quite good, it's a 3 min walk away from Aobadori JR station, but you can also just walk directly from Sendai Station, it won't take longer than 6 - 7 minutes, although it might be annoying if you have large luggages. There are bus routes nearby to take you to Zuihoden, or you can walk to the subway line nearby to take the Namboku/Tozai lines.
The room was decent, nothing amazing but for a solo traveller it was more than adequate. The lobby was pretty nicely presented with a good amenities bar and check-in/check-out was smooth.

Cch.bNos quedamos aquí durante dos años consecutivos y la razón principal es su desayuno buffet que no es una gran línea pero tenían todos los bienes locales famosos para ofrecer, uno de los mejores desayunos con una variedad de opciones locales para que los huéspedes disfruten con el menú adecuado Rotación. Room and hotel both had nice amenities. But the room could have been a bit cleaner. I noticed during my 4-night-stay, that the room had not been vacuum cleaned once and two times I received a slip of paper by the cleaning staff that the cleaning could not be completed. One time they stated that there still was my stuff on the table and therefore it could not be cleaned. Another time, they did just leave the slip without checking a reason. I was confused both times, since all the things left on the table were the ones the hotel put there. The bathroom should also not only be treated for mold, but should be cleaned more thoroughly in general, since there was still dirt on the walls and cealing, which caused a small number of flies to live in the bathroom.
Some people might also find it hard to fall asleep, since the walls are thin and you can hear the noise from the street as well as the very loud bathroom vent that is on 24/7 and cannot be switched off.
Location of the hotel was easy to find and very central, so that was really nice.

UUsuario invitadoIt was a perfect stay. Everything including amenities, services, beds, facilities was awesome. Room is very clean and new, employees are so kind.
Especially, we had left our belongings in the safe, and realized it after we arrived at tokyo. We made a call to this hotel and the manager handled this situation very professionally!
They made a delivery to tokyo, which arrived early in the next morning, so we are now at narita airport without stopping by sendai again!!
Definitely willing to stay here again if I have a chance to visit sendai again. Thank you so much!

It was also very convenient to have a FamilyMart next to the lobby on the ground floor. The laundry area is quite small and would have been nicer if there were more machines available. The dryer was unfortunately not very efficient. Service was great and the hotel was very clean. Rooms were of a good size. Would return.

JJoyee LaiHotel Green Plus has a very strategic location, within walking distance to Sendai Station. It is easy to reach even with luggage, as there is a lift accessible from the skywalk.
The hotel is located in a lively covered shopping street and is directly opposite the famous Ichiran Ramen, which makes dining and shopping extremely convenient.
Although the main entrance has stairs, there is actually a hidden lift that provides access to the hotel lobby and guest rooms, which is very helpful for guests with luggage.
The staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay. A young lady at the reception patiently helped me make several calls to my desired restaurant to assist with a reservation. A male receptionist even helped carry my luggage to the shopping street, which was truly impressive and very touching.
Overall, a convenient stay with warm service and excellent location. Highly recommended

It’s a little bit far from the station. But there’s a bus stop close by that goes to the station (190 yen in 2026). What I really liked was that the hotel have bikes (with a basket) you can use for free, just ask the receptionen (I only used it once for one hour, but it was good).
The room was a bit spacious, clean and tidy. If you have a suitcase I think you can open it in the room. The bed and pillows were good. What I didn’t like was that they didn’t have hand soap or conditioner. They did have shampoo and body soap though.
The staff was nice and friendly. The amenity was good as well. They didn’t have face wash and face cream, like many other hotels have. But they had the other usual things, so I don’t complain.
When I booked this hotel on trip.com it said the check in is between 15-22, so I checked in before 22. But when I went to the reception 23, there were still people there, and they had a machine where it said check in and out. So maybe you can check in after 22? If you want to do that I would try to send a message or something and ask. Because it felt like it was ok to check in even after 22.
Overall I think we had a good and nice stay at this hotel.
