”We stayed at this homestay for three nights. We arrived around 11:00 pm, but the host uncle still welcomed us very warmly!! That night we didn’t really notice the outside layout, but the next morning we saw that the garden is absolutely beautiful. We stayed in Room No. 3 – a very artistic queen/king bed room with a jacuzzi, some snacks, milk, and bottled water. The room layout is exquisite, and you can tell the host put a lot of love into it 💝 Breakfast was also delicious!! There are several set options to choose from – just let the host know the day before. There’s also a small fridge in the room where you can store your own drinks. Breakfast includes bread, small snacks, and orange juice. I really highly recommend it (loved it 😘 – it feels like home). The homestay has only five rooms, so availability is quite limited, but I still want to recommend it to as many people as possible!”

Booked the love snug for my wife's 30th and honestly couldnt of been better so helpful an welcomed with a smile by who i think was the owner she was amazing. Nothing was to much trouble as a whole probably one of the best weekends away weve been on and mostly because of this hotel would recommend and will definitely be back again 100% big thank you for making our weekend to windamere so special. La habitación está en una excelente ubicación y limpia! La ubicación es muy cerca del puerto del lago, no está lejos de la estación de tren. El jefe es un señor muy gentil. ¡Es muy prudente! Una vez llegado al hotel, explicó en detalle la situación cercana al lago Windmil y dio un mapa de viaje. El desayuno es muy delicioso! ¡Me recuerda! Cuando se va, el jefe todavía está muy entusiasta de ayudarme a reservar un taxi. Este es un viaje agradable y agradable.

Rum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself. We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too. We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful. After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks. We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny

El desayuno es un leche de yogur de pan preparado con antelación, algunos en el frigorífico, otros en el almacén, no se espera demasiado. 2, si vienes por ti, necesitas un carné de estacionamiento con la recepción, 3 libras al día, estacionamiento ilimitado, hay varios lugares para estacionar, en realidad es conveniente. Cuando te vas, puedes ir al estacionamiento primero, y cuando vuelvas, puedes colocar el carné y el carné de estacionamiento en la recepción.

Staff were the most friendly we've ever experienced The food we had was very nice The room we had was immaculate even if it was pink panther watching us lol , will definitely be going back again in the summer thanks to all the staff

The location and hygiene of this hotel is okay, except that the carpets don't seem to have been cleaned for a long time. I was most dissatisfied with a male waiter, his attitude was particularly bad, I suspect he was a ******, his attitude was really bad, I have stayed in so many places in the world in hotels and B&Bs, this male waiter's attitude was the worst, I entered the staff area is my fault, but I entered from the restaurant, there is no staff only to enter the prompts, the male waiter kicked me out like a dog, I felt I was insulted.The waiter shooed me out like a dog, I felt insulted, it seems that the quality of the British people really needs to be improved.

A clean and cozy hotel resides in the middle of the Windermere town. The hotel provides a kettle to boil water so we could enjoy tea and coffee there. Nice place to stay in for vacation. Definitely worth to visit again.
