We feel lucky we stayed at Ryebeck Hotel! We booked there to celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthdays ! The hotel offers stunning views of Lake Windermere and the surrounding countryside. The hotel offers a restaurant serving delicious local cuisine 7 days a week breakfast, lunch and dinner. A cosy lounge area with a fireplace, and a lovely garden where they can relax and unwind. On top of everything: the staff was amazing! There is a fantastic team who very willingly offered as a family environment! Friendly, smiling staff who truly upgraded all our plans for our daughter’s birthday celebrations offering to all of us a unique experience! Thank you Tommy and your great colleagues! Excellent location for both driving and public transportation. It is so quiet to stay than your expected. It is convenient to grab your food nearby. Higher recommended.

Hotel was clean, plenty of parking, good breakfast No information in rooms, was advised that they didn’t like clutter, so any questions we had we had to go to reception to ask. No wifi, channels on tv not tuned in, had to pay to use the spa facilities.

The location and hygiene of this hotel is okay, except that the carpets don't seem to have been cleaned for a long time. I was most dissatisfied with a male waiter, his attitude was particularly bad, I suspect he was a ******, his attitude was really bad, I have stayed in so many places in the world in hotels and B&Bs, this male waiter's attitude was the worst, I entered the staff area is my fault, but I entered from the restaurant, there is no staff only to enter the prompts, the male waiter kicked me out like a dog, I felt I was insulted.The waiter shooed me out like a dog, I felt insulted, it seems that the quality of the British people really needs to be improved.

The property and the ambience is lovely. The view from the restaurant garden is very pleasant and beautiful. The room size, bathroom size and amenities were good. We faced 1 major problem to be precise which made us a bit sore. Cleanliness - the room was clean except for the carpet. It didn’t feel like it was vacuumed. There was probably a pet staying in that room before us and there was a lot of hair on the carpet. I understand it is a pet friendly property and I have absolutely no problem with that. But cleaning the room properly before the next checkin is a basic expectation. We couldn’t step on the floor without our feet being covered with hair. Apart from that, everything else was very good. Breakfast was also good and the customer service was very polite and hospitable as well.
