OOlivia575La sensación de la gente de la familia, el timbre puede comprobar la tarde, un timbre de la casa separada, el balón de timbre en el patio es hermoso, el otoño es muy sensacional para comer una tarde en el patio. Está muy cerca de la estación de tren de Wendemir, es adecuado para no haber manera de conducir por sí mismo, y caminar a unos 20 minutos a pie de la ciudad de Bowness. Cuando se reserva, el tipo de habitación queda en el techo, las escaleras rotatorias serían un poco incómodas y se sentía que el tipo de habitación era adecuado para los jóvenes. Si no fuera necesario vivir en el lago, el precio era más barato en Windmil. El desayuno es típico de inglés, pero el servicio es encantador. Además del desayuno, cada uno enviará un pastel de torta cada día. Aunque el sabor es más común, también puede llevar un poco de suministro cuando sale a pie. Recomendado a una ciudad de Windmil para la venta de comida china a una ciudad de Hong Kong, el maíz y el arroz de curry de la estrella son muy buenos.

UUsuario invitadoRum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself.
We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area.
Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too.
We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful.
After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks.
We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny

AAmy’s TravelsI’ve booked Low Wood Bay a few times but this was the first time using trip.com - we got an excellent deal and the customer service was brilliant from both trip.com and Low Wood Bay. There had been heavy snowfall so things were a bit up in the air with whether we would be coming or not due to road closures but the staff were brilliant. Thankfully we did get to come for the night and we’d booked the spa the following day. It is one of the best spas I have been to. The views are stunning. The hotel itself is really lovely, fantastic location, extremely clean and all the staff were super friendly. Will definitely be coming to stay again and can’t recommend enough for a relaxing break.

UUsuario invitadoAbsolutely amazing stay , as soon as we arrived everything was great and customer service was brilliant . They even upgraded us to a room with a hot tub for my husbands birthday. Spa was lovely and even on the checkout day can use it to 1pm which was a nice bonus. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent and so good only had to walk 30 seconds from our room. Will definitely be back to visit again!

UUsuario invitadoEl Macdonald Old England Hotel está bien situado, siendo sólo una piedra tirada del lago y las tiendas en Bowness.
El personal es amable y obligatorio y el servicio se ajusta a su actitud.
El desayuno es bueno, aunque el personal puede ser un poco lento en la rellena de los turísticos.
No hemos utilizado el spa, por lo que no podemos comentarlo.
En general, encontramos que el hotel tiene todas las instalaciones que buscamos y nos alegraría quedarnos de nuevo.

KKristinMWMy husband and I stayed here in one of the larger posh 4-poster bed rooms for 2 nights nights. It is an ideal location, being a very short walk from the village high street, across the road from the harbour with beautiful lake views, but tucked high enough away from any street noise. And because it's a proper hotel, the room we booked was large enough, and even had a bidet. There was adequate parking, a lovely full English breakfast buffet, and a fancy bar and restaurant onsite. The only downside was that the lift was broken, so we had to climb to the top floor many times a day, and construction was taking place on site, but that was quiet for us as our room was around the other side of the building. If you're there in the dead of summer, there was no AC. (Just a heads up in case you're from the states and used to it all hotel rooms) Not currently any pool or hot tub at the time of typing this.
I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend it to my friends. 👍🏼

UUsuario anónimoThe location and hygiene of this hotel is okay, except that the carpets don't seem to have been cleaned for a long time.
I was most dissatisfied with a male waiter, his attitude was particularly bad, I suspect he was a ******, his attitude was really bad, I have stayed in so many places in the world in hotels and B&Bs, this male waiter's attitude was the worst, I entered the staff area is my fault, but I entered from the restaurant, there is no staff only to enter the prompts, the male waiter kicked me out like a dog, I felt I was insulted.The waiter shooed me out like a dog, I felt insulted, it seems that the quality of the British people really needs to be improved.

TTzu YuanStaff are all very nice, but the whole building really needs maintenance like dinning room's roof leaking, wall paints fainting,ect.. breakfast tables ＆floor are somehow sticky. Hope seeing into renovation. Good luck!!

UUsuario invitadoA clean and cozy hotel resides in the middle of the Windermere town. The hotel provides a kettle to boil water so we could enjoy tea and coffee there. Nice place to stay in for vacation. Definitely worth to visit again.
