Hoteles de 4 estrellas en Foshan

Para mi última parada en Shunde, elegí un hotel cerca del Jardín Qinghui y la calle Huagai. Era la primera vez que me alojaba en un hotel Orange Crystal, ya que la zona es similar a la calle Nanjing en Shanghái: rodeada de edificios antiguos y con muy pocas opciones de alojamiento. Instalaciones: Ubicado en la zona más concurrida, frente al Jardín Qinghui, el aparcamiento es pequeño. Las instalaciones de la habitación son relativamente nuevas y la decoración es decente, especialmente los accesorios del baño; no esperaba que fueran de Vibo. Sin embargo, la ducha es bastante pequeña; sería muy estrecha para dos personas. Limpieza: En general buena, pero el vestíbulo parecía un poco desordenado. Al estar en una zona concurrida, hay muchos grupos turísticos, personas mayores y niños. El segundo piso es una casa de té, por lo que las zonas comunes son difíciles de limpiar. Entorno: La habitación ofrece una vista panorámica del Jardín Qinghui, pero los alrededores son el casco antiguo y no son particularmente impresionantes. Como marca de gama media-alta, Orange Crystal se posiciona por encima de los hoteles económicos en todos los aspectos. El precio, de alrededor de 1000 RMB durante las vacaciones, es aceptable en ciudades de tercer y cuarto nivel. La excelente ubicación del hotel, justo al lado de la calle gastronómica de Huagai Road, es increíblemente conveniente para los amantes de la buena comida. Servicio: Como miembro Huazhu Gold, me dieron una habitación superior. La lavandería de autoservicio en el piso 15 fue genial, especialmente para un huésped como yo que había estado fuera diez días; fue muy rápida y práctica.

Not my first time in the same hotel. Everything is still great, and I enjoyed having breakfast everyday here. Barista had a day off when I wanted to try coffee in lobby, but Starbucks is near so it's not an issue

I booked a suite at the Mercure but was unable to check in at 1:30 pm as planned. The front desk staff explained apologetically that the hotel had been full the previous night and the rooms were still being cleaned. We were advised to leave our luggage with the concierge and wait for a message on WeChat when the room was ready. By 3:30 pm, we returned to check again. When I asked a staff member about my room, she said it was still not ready. We waited by the counter while the three staff on duty chatted among themselves instead of assisting guests. After another 30 minutes, I followed up. At that point, they asked my name and I was finally given the room key. The hotel has only one slow lift serving Mercure guests. Another lift for the private residences can be used, but access requires crossing to another wing from the ground floor. Service quality was inconsistent. One morning, I called ahead to request that the room not be cleaned but asked for fresh towels, toilet paper, and bottled water to be left outside the door instead. Although the staff acknowledged this request, I returned in the evening to find the room cleaned and no supplies provided. On another occasion, the toilet became clogged late at night. When I called the front desk at 11:30 pm, I was told housekeeping had ended for the day and would only resume at 9 am. The staff advised me to use the public restrooms on level 1 in the meantime. Unfortunately, when I came back to the room the next afternoon around 3 pm, the toilet was still clogged and the room hadn’t been serviced. Overall, the hotel’s location is convenient and breakfast reasonably tasty (though with a limited selection). However, the front desk service and housekeeping standards fall short of expectations for a property under the Mercure brand.

Recepción amable, proceso de registro rápido. La habitación es grande y limpia. A 3 minutos del metro. Hay muchos restaurantes cerca y está junto a un gran centro comercial y un supermercado.

El hotel está en un barrio residencial muy alejado del centro de la ciudad, por lo que entrar y salir no es muy cómodo a pesar de que hay una estación de metro junto al hotel. Solo hay unas pocas tiendas de conveniencia y pequeños restaurantes en los alrededores. Por lo tanto, no es un buen lugar para los adictos a las compras o para las personas a las que les encanta tener múltiples opciones de comida.

El hotel es limpio y limpio, el diseño es grande, el diseño es suave, el desayuno buffet es rica y el precio es muy alto. Aunque está lejos del núcleo, el equipo cercano es maduro, el servicio es necesario! Didn’t took photo of the room. But it was so nice, clean, and comfortable hotel. The smell was so nice. Some hotels located in the center of Guangzhou there were so bad smells, unconformable and so expensive. But this hotel was so conformable and nice. One thing is little bit far from the center but the using railway it was okay. Also most nice thing was laundry room(free) and fitness area. The hotel service was so nice. Thanks. I’ll stay again in this hotel.

Si quieres visitar el Centro Internacional de Exposiciones Meiju de Foshan, este hotel está justo en la periferia, con una ubicación muy conveniente. Justo al lado hay un restaurante de cocina hunanesa y muchos otros restaurantes pequeños. El desayuno buffet es bueno, pero no excepcional; suficiente para saciar el hambre matutina. La habitación está limpia y parece nueva. Reservé una habitación con dos camas queen y el baño es muy práctico: el lavabo está fuera, mientras que la ducha y el inodoro tienen cabinas separadas, así que dos personas pueden usar el baño al mismo tiempo, a diferencia de los baños tradicionales donde todo está en una sola habitación y hay que esperar a que la otra persona termine antes de poder usarlo. Sin duda, volveré a reservar aquí.

La recepción excelente, atenta y predispuesta a ayudar, la habitación completa, sólo unos detalles en el piso. Estuvimos en el piso 36 habitación 3620. Frigobar con agua y refrescos que reponían todos los días, bocadillos nocturnos chinos, algunos ricos otros no aptos paladares occidentales. Pantuflas de recambio diario, pantuflas de goma para el baño y batas de excelente calidad. Solicite en requerimientos, una habitación lejos del ascensor y vistas a la ciudad, y me dieron la vista más maravillosa y bien alejada de los ascensores, lo que resultó en una estadía perfecta. Con respecto al desayuno, tienen muy pocas opciones occidentales, pero es lógico, considerando que en 5 días fuimos los únicos. Recomiendo ir temprano a desayunar para más tranquilidad. Pedimos hielo el primer día y el resto no fue necesario, ya que había una hielera a disposición. La ubicación excelente, a unos pasos de la estación que te lleva directo a Guangzhou. Lavandería en el piso 37 junto al restaurante, así que aconsejo llevar la ropa antes del desayuno y retirarla a la salida, es autoservicio, el jabón incorporado a la lavadora, secadora con 20 o 30 minutos la ropa queda impecable. Plancha a vapor en la lavanderia.

Foshan Travels: when it comes to Foshan or Guangzhou, most people only know Chimelong paradise. However, there is an oasis known as Changlu Holiday Resort 长鹿度假村. Its lesser known and more catered to locals. Advised to come on weekends, once you check in, literally no need to go out liaoz!! We came during the weekdays and low season, hence it was easier to get an upgrade and no queues for rides. On weekends, however, they have a night parade and activity. Lots of shows, street shopping, food and performances. Back to the resort. I booked via trip.com. Rooms starts from only $99 per room! Not per person. PER ROOM And includes ALOT! 1. Choice of room. We had initially booked the cave room at $200 per night with tickets for 2 kids. However, due to a natural inclement, we managed to get the underwater room upgrade! Both were great. The underwater room usually cost around $700! And a bigger one at approx $1000!! Breakfast is included too. I would say not as good as the earlier hotels. But ok la… 2. Tickets to the zoo. You get multiple tickets if you book more than 1 night. Actually 1 day ticket is sufficient as the zoo isn’t very big and could be covered in 1 day. Zoo shows are not included. Regret watching but not expensive. 3. Discount tickets to the circus. Top up about $8 per person. Discount tickets to snow world. As we had experienced similar at the previous hotel, we skipped this. Snow world is another $6 per person. 4. Thrilling amusement rides. Not included but they are not expensive too. Pay by coin credits and they offered buy 1 get 1 value. Works out each ride to be less than $2-$3 a ride only. 5. Affordable and good food offerings. Usually theme parks tend to be expensive. But it’s affordable here. We went to town and realized even cheaper. 6. Unlimited hot spring pools to soak. 7. Beautiful swimming pool (the blue oasis in the pictures is the pool) 8. Steam and sauna access. And many more!! They have a total of 11 interactive zones here. When people feedback 2day1 night is not enough I kind of thought I might have time to go to town.. well… 3 days 2 night in the resort and we still find it insufficient too. 😅😅😅 With the beautiful underwater room, we spent time going in and out of the room for rest and pool soak multiple times too.. If you ask me which room type is the best, get the cave rooms as they are in the heart of the resort. Easiest to get around.
