La ubicación no puede ser mejor para un viaje turístico. En pleno barrio de Plaka, muy cómodo para moverte y hacer las visitas sin necesidad de transporte. Destaca su terraza bar con vistas a la Acrópolis que de noche es un lujo. - Servicio amable y atento - habitaciones correctas (un poco pequeña la habitación y cama de matrimonio) - Desayuno correcto (igual echamos en falta algo de variedad pero todo estaba bueno) Recomendable por ubicación y calidad/precio 👌

¡Soy un viajero solo y me quedé aquí en mi primera viaje a Atenas. Quería ser central a las atracciones. ¡Es justo en la plaza de Monastiaki donde puedes llevar el metro al aeropuerto y desde él, lo que le hace fácil llegar! También puedes usarlos para llegar a Atenas! ¡El Acropolis está a la altura de la plaza! El hotel está en una ubicación excelente, con todas las atracciones a 20 minutos a pie. La terraza de la azotea del hotel puede capturar el atardecer y el amanecer de la antigua ciudad de Atenas. En las inmediaciones hay bares, restaurantes y supermercados. También es muy conveniente tomar el metro y el autobús del aeropuerto desde el hotel hasta el aeropuerto. El personal de recepción del hotel también es muy servicial y las zonas públicas y las habitaciones del hotel están muy limpias. El desayuno fue bastante satisfactorio, con una variedad de café, frutas y pasteles que básicamente satisfacían sus necesidades.

Olympus Residence is a comfortable and modern place to stay in Athens. The apartment is spacious, clean, and equipped for a short stay. Just starting to show some age but the beds were comfortable, the air conditioning worked well, and having kitchen and laundry facilities was a definite plus. The location is in a pleasant, quiet neighbourhood. Most of Athens’ major attractions, including Syntagma Square and the Acropolis, are around 1.5–2 km away. This was a good walk for us, but travellers with limited mobility or those wanting to be right in the heart of the action may prefer somewhere closer. There were a few areas that could be improved. Communication before arrival was disappointing. I contacted the property several times to ask about the possibility of an early check-in, but several messages went unanswered, including a call to the listed emergency number. I eventually received a response only after sending a text message to that number. Better communication would make the arrival experience much smoother. The kitchen was functional, but the utensils and cooking equipment were very basic. Anyone planning to prepare more than simple meals may find the kitchen somewhat limited. Overall, despite the communication issues and the basic kitchen setup, the apartment was clean, comfortable, and offered good value. With a few improvements, particularly in guest communication, it would be an excellent place to stay.

We loved this hotel! We booked it based on good price, nice photos/reviews and close proximity to vegan restaurants. My only slight concern was that some reviews described the location as a little seedy/dangerous. We did not find this to be the case at all. We loved the location, away from the tourist 'centre', but still easily accessible by metro in about 10 minutes. In fact, from this area it seemed really easy to travel to many different parts of Athens, and the metro station itself was a 10-minute walk away. There is a large, lovely park 5 minutes across the road, where lots of people & families were hanging out during the long, summer evenings. Yes, there are some run-down buildings and graffiti in the area, but that seems to be all over Athens, and it did not feel aggressive or threatening. The hotel itself was lovely. The photos are very accurate. Our room was soooo comfortable, a great size, with good storage (wardrobe), comfy bed/pillows, a nice shower and a small fridge, kettle and coffee pod machine. Down in the basement is a communal space with a pool table, small kitchen for preparing food, and space to chill out or watch movies. You can also get fresh, drinkable water here, There is a small terrace on the top floor, with a bit of a view and some friendly pigeons. The staff at reception were so lovely - friendly & helpful, great English speakers too. The only thing I would mention is that our room was at the front of the building, on the 1st floor, and you could easily the hear the traffic on the main road (which is around the corner - the hotel itself is on a side street). We were also treated to some early-morning trumpet practice from someone in an apartment opposite (and he definitely needs the practice!) So if you are sensitive to noise or a light sleeper, you should ask for a room at the back. But, that aside, it was a great hotel which I highly recommend, and would definitely stay here again.

Es una instalación muy limpia y agradable. Fue fantástico poder alojarse en tan buenas instalaciones por un precio tan bajo. Tienes que tomar el metro durante unos 10 minutos desde el centro. Sin embargo, si puedes quedarte en unas instalaciones tan limpias y buenas, no creo que sea un problema en absoluto. El gerente se comunicará constantemente con usted y verificará si es necesario. Tuve que ir al aeropuerto temprano en la mañana, pero prepararon un vehículo de recogida para que llegara cómodamente.

La habitación era muy agradable y limpia. La ubicación era perfecta, a pocos pasos de las principales atracciones. El personal era muy amable y útil. El único descenso fue que los ciegos no bloquearon completamente el sol.

The hotel is quite far from the center, so you’ll need to rely on public transportation regularly. There’s a bus station on the street that takes you to the nearest metro stop and into the city, but buses only run every 20–30 minutes. As for the room itself – when I booked the basic room, there were 36 photos that made me think the room would be larger. Maybe that was my mistake (or maybe intentional marketing?), but either way it felt misleading. The room was very clean, but the bathroom soap was the bright pink mall-style kind, and in the shower there was a bottle of clear liquid that honestly looked like bleach. I really hope that wasn’t meant to be shower gel. The room had no window, only a large door to the balcony, which makes it tricky if you want fresh air at night. The AC froze the small space (and I normally love sleeping with AC), but there was no blanket, only a very thin sheet. So the choice was either freezing or no air. There was no desk or chair in the room – if you want to sit, the only option is the bed. There was a washing machine, but no detergent tabs provided. I actually bought a box of 40 at the supermarket and left them there, but I have a feeling they didn’t stay for the next guest. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

The exterior of the hotel look inviting; however when we walked through the front door you can feel the heavy curtain around the lobby have not been clean for long time. All the sofa in the lobby are covered with some sort of clothes I guess it is to cover the old and uninviting sight. The check in process was straight forward and friendly. None of the light on the stairs are working and I had to use the flash light on my phone to light a path up and down the stairs, could be dangerous if you need to evacuate the hotel quickly. The room door has key card slot but I guess it is broken as I needed a physical key to unlock the room door and a keycard to turn on the electricity, the room size is good and high ceiling. The bathroom has no hook for the handheld shower head so not so convenient to have a shower, the water also not always hot enough. The air conditioner was blowing warm air even though the dial was set to cold and it made the room so more warmer and uncomfortable to sleep. The hotel reviews seem to suggest this is one of the common issue people has been complaining about for more than 10 years!!!! I ended up open all the windows to cool the room down and this invited traffic noise all night long. The hotel has been neglected for way too many years and surprisingly still in business????
