Un hotel muy tradicional, elegante, antiguo y solemne, ¡la sensación general es muy buena! La ubicación es muy conveniente. Después de salir de la estación de tren de Wivalli, puede llegar al hotel en menos de 5 minutos a pie. Es simplemente una gran caminata cuesta arriba, que puede resultar un poco extenuante si llevas equipaje grande. Sólo se tarda 20 minutos en caminar desde el hotel hasta el castillo. El vestíbulo del hotel es muy tradicional y la exclusiva sala de hogueras se siente como entrar en la casa de Papá Noel. La joven de la recepción está muy entusiasmada y presenta en detalle las diversas instalaciones de la habitación. Debido a que Escocia hace bastante frío, aparecí. La calefacción de la habitación al máximo y no la sentí en absoluto. Es una idea perfecta tomar un desayuno tradicional inglés en el primer piso del hotel por la mañana. Hay un restaurante occidental con cena a la luz de las velas al lado del hotel, donde podrás disfrutar de un mundo dulce para dos personas. 😍😍

El Ibis Edinburgh Centre Royal Mile - Hunter Square es una auténtica sorpresa. Supera el aburrido estándar de Ibis. Decidimos alojarnos en este hotel por su ubicación. Como socio Diamante, me cambiaron la habitación a una categoría superior y me ofrecieron todo el paquete de bienvenida necesario. ¡Un aplauso! 👍 No me esperaba esto de Ibis. El desayuno estuvo riquísimo y muy bueno. ¡Otro aplauso! Algunos puntos débiles: (1) Encontramos insectos en la habitación; al día siguiente, el servicio de limpieza hizo una limpieza excelente. (2) La ventana era un problema grave; no se podía abrir del todo (hasta ＜ 1 cm). Probablemente la gerencia de Ibis pueda prestar más atención en el futuro. Por último, pero no menos importante, el personal de recepción y el resto del personal fueron muy amables. ☺️

Es fantástico poder llegar al centro de la ciudad de Edimburgo en tren directo y al aeropuerto con un corto viaje en tranvía. Tenía un precio razonable, estaba limpio y había un centro comercial cerca, así que era un gran lugar para alojarse.

Recomiendo este hotel ya que mi pareja y yo hemos estado muy cómodos, tuvimos un problema ya que al reservar, por error reservamos una habitación accesible para minusválidos y no dudaron en solucionar nuestro propio error, al día siguiente ya teníamos una habitación diferente. Los trabajadores del hotel eran muy simpáticos y atentos, en especial Lucía que nos ayudó mucho a todo :) Repetiríamos sin duda.

El personal del restaurante Spleen Peptide fue muy amable. Aunque la habitación y la cocina eran pequeñas, la ubicación era excelente. Está a un corto paseo de la estación de tren y cerca de varias atracciones, lo que lo convierte en un buen lugar para pasar una noche.

El hotel tiene una ubicación fantástica, justo al lado de la Royal Mile y muy cerca de la estación de tren. También hay un Ibis cerca, así que no se confunda y vaya al equivocado. Llegar a la habitación desde este hotel es un poco complicado. La distribución del hotel de Edimburgo es similar a la del de Chongqing; la recepción está en la cuarta planta, y nuestra habitación también estaba en la cuarta. Pero para llegar a la habitación, hay que ir a la tercera planta, pasar por un restaurante, dar una vuelta larga y luego coger el ascensor hasta la cuarta planta.

Viajé a Edimburgo con otra pareja y les recomendé este hotel, ya que es un IHG. Llegamos a nuestras habitaciones y me sentí avergonzado de haber elegido este hotel para nuestra estancia de dos noches. Por casi 250 libras la noche (nos alojamos dos noches), una habitación de un hotel de una estrella es mucho más grande que nuestra habitación con cama doble. Las habitaciones de Travelodge y Premier Inn son mucho más grandes, con mesa, sillas e incluso tu propio café o té, y cuestan una cuarta parte o menos. No esperen una habitación grande. Si han visto un motel antes, es de ese tamaño. En cuanto abren la puerta, dan un paso y ya está en la cama. No sé por qué IHG optó por esto. Es una degradación de sus hoteles. El Holiday Inn Express, su hotel económico, es muchísimo mejor. La cama también está muy caliente por la noche; no tibia, pero sí caliente. Como punto positivo, una buena ducha. Habitación limpia (creo que recién reformada).

位置100分，設施及清潔也可以接受。最大問題是晚上11點後十分嘈吵。因為附近有的士高，由11pm到3:00am飲醉酒人在街上不停大聲說話。房間玻璃不是雙層隔音玻璃，所以如同自己在街上一樣。早上六時垃圾車倒垃圾十分嘈吵。基本上如果不是第一晚太嘈只睡了兩個鐘，第二天晚上絕對沒可能睡到。 酒店提供耳塞，但完全沒有作用。希望他們能把窗轉做隔音玻璃。 The location is excellent, and the facilities and cleanliness are acceptable. The biggest issue is the excessive noise after 11 PM. The nearby disco and nightclub open til 3:00am. from 11 PM to 3 AM, with drunk people talking loudly on the street. The room windows are not double-glazed, so it feels as if you are right on the street. At 6 AM, the garbage truck adds to the noise while collecting trash. Basically, if I hadn’t only slept for two hours due to the noise on the first night, there would have been no way to sleep at all on the second night. The hotel provides earplugs, but they are completely ineffective. I hope they can replace the windows with soundproof glass.

Excellent Location, but Serious Security Lapses I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a bit of a mixed bag. While there are some undeniable perks to the property, a few significant service and security issues made for a rather unsettling experience. The Highlights Prime Location: This is easily the hotel's strongest suit. It’s situated right next to Haymarket station, and there is a bus stop literally just outside the front door. Getting into the city centre takes no more than 10 minutes, making it a perfect base for exploring. Commendable Service: The reception team provided a decent welcome. I’d like to give a special mention to Shreyas, who was incredibly helpful and professional throughout our interactions. Quality Dining: We ate at the on-site restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was of a high standard, and the waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Room Maintenance & Tech Issues Unfortunately, the shine started to wear off once we settled into the room: Housekeeping Oversights: Despite this being a multi-day stay, the complimentary water bottles were never replaced after the first day. Faulty Tech: The in-room tablet was practically useless. It kept restarting due to a battery fault; ironically, it even cut out while I was trying to use it to contact reception. Privacy Concerns: When we requested extra toilet roll, the staff member who delivered it attempted to walk straight into the room using their key, rather than knocking and waiting for us to answer. It was a complete breach of basic hospitality etiquette. A Major Security Concern The most distressing part of the trip occurred on our second day. Upon returning to our room in the evening, we were shocked to find the main door open. It appears the cleaning staff had failed to secure the door after finishing their rounds. Finding your hotel room left open to the public is, quite frankly, scary. It’s a massive security fail that overshadowed the rest of the stay. While the location is brilliant, the hotel desperately needs to tighten up its staff training and safety protocols. Would I stay again? Only if I were certain that the security and maintenance issues had been addressed.

My second stay here Great location at a good price, in Edinburgh you will be outside most of the day in this great city so you just need a comfortable sleep at a good location which this hotel provides as it's at the tip of the royal mile and only few mins walk to Waverley bridge where you can get the airport express bus and also the train station, rooms have good Balmoral view Just avoid the corner rooms cuz they have sluggish internet connection
