Hoteles de 3 estrellas en Edimburgo

Bonito hotel cerca de tienda y restaurante de comida rápida. La vista frontal también es agradable con vistas al casco antiguo. El problema es que no puedo encontrar el teléfono de la habitación dentro de mi habitación. Por eso me resulta difícil solicitar las comodidades que deseo.

La habitación está limpia, conveniente para viajar, 100 metros de desplazamiento se dirige a la montaña de Carlton. El hall del hotel está diseñado para mantener el estilo medieval, la recepción es amable, puede añadir una cocina de desayuno 15 kilómetros por hora.

St Christopher’s es mi opción de alojamiento preferida porque ofrece dormitorios que se ajustan a mi presupuesto de viaje y no podría equivocarme con ellos en ningún sentido.

La ubicación es bastante remota y las habitaciones son bastante antiguas. Se puede hacer el check-in por cuenta propia, y la única ventaja es que hay un Tesco cerca. A menos que necesites llegar temprano al aeropuerto para un vuelo de conexión, no vale la pena considerar este hotel, ya que hay otros hoteles cerca. Aunque está cerca del aeropuerto, tendrás que pedir un Uber o un taxi.

El sistema de calefacción central no funcionaba. En su lugar, nos dieron una estufa eléctrica. El empleado de recepción no nos dio ninguna explicación sobre este tema. Simplemente nos dieron la llave de la habitación en la entrada y la enviaron sin mencionar las instalaciones.

Ubicación: Muy convenientemente ubicado, justo enfrente de un par de paradas de autobús y a pocos pasos de la parada de tranvía Ocean Terminal. Ocean Terminal cuenta con algunas tiendas de marcas reconocidas que no visitamos, pero si no tiene nada más que hacer, puede ser una buena manera de pasar el tiempo. El Royal Britannia Yacht también está justo ahí. Limpieza e instalaciones: Tal como esperábamos de IHG, muy limpio y con las instalaciones que buscábamos: consigna de equipaje, un bar/restaurante sencillo y desayuno caliente. Nada extraordinario, pero absolutamente esencial. Nota: los huevos revueltos podrían estar mejor. Servicio: Correcto, como se esperaba. Ya habíamos enviado una nota indicando que llegaríamos entre la 1:00 y la 1:30, y cuando llegamos a recepción sobre la 1:15, nos entregaron las llaves rápidamente y en el interior de la tarjeta estaba escrito ”no presentado”. Esto significa que la recepción del turno de noche nunca vio nuestra nota y ya nos había marcado como posible ”no presentado”. No nos hizo daño, pero no me gustó que nunca leyeran nuestra nota; demuestra la impersonalidad de su servicio. Por eso le quité una estrella. Nota: El té de arándanos es una buena opción. Me alivió el dolor de cabeza. Gracias.

Recomiendo este hotel ya que mi pareja y yo hemos estado muy cómodos, tuvimos un problema ya que al reservar, por error reservamos una habitación accesible para minusválidos y no dudaron en solucionar nuestro propio error, al día siguiente ya teníamos una habitación diferente. Los trabajadores del hotel eran muy simpáticos y atentos, en especial Lucía que nos ayudó mucho a todo :) Repetiríamos sin duda.

位置100分，設施及清潔也可以接受。最大問題是晚上11點後十分嘈吵。因為附近有的士高，由11pm到3:00am飲醉酒人在街上不停大聲說話。房間玻璃不是雙層隔音玻璃，所以如同自己在街上一樣。早上六時垃圾車倒垃圾十分嘈吵。基本上如果不是第一晚太嘈只睡了兩個鐘，第二天晚上絕對沒可能睡到。 酒店提供耳塞，但完全沒有作用。希望他們能把窗轉做隔音玻璃。 The location is excellent, and the facilities and cleanliness are acceptable. The biggest issue is the excessive noise after 11 PM. The nearby disco and nightclub open til 3:00am. from 11 PM to 3 AM, with drunk people talking loudly on the street. The room windows are not double-glazed, so it feels as if you are right on the street. At 6 AM, the garbage truck adds to the noise while collecting trash. Basically, if I hadn’t only slept for two hours due to the noise on the first night, there would have been no way to sleep at all on the second night. The hotel provides earplugs, but they are completely ineffective. I hope they can replace the windows with soundproof glass.

Viajé a Edimburgo con otra pareja y les recomendé este hotel, ya que es un IHG. Llegamos a nuestras habitaciones y me sentí avergonzado de haber elegido este hotel para nuestra estancia de dos noches. Por casi 250 libras la noche (nos alojamos dos noches), una habitación de un hotel de una estrella es mucho más grande que nuestra habitación con cama doble. Las habitaciones de Travelodge y Premier Inn son mucho más grandes, con mesa, sillas e incluso tu propio café o té, y cuestan una cuarta parte o menos. No esperen una habitación grande. Si han visto un motel antes, es de ese tamaño. En cuanto abren la puerta, dan un paso y ya está en la cama. No sé por qué IHG optó por esto. Es una degradación de sus hoteles. El Holiday Inn Express, su hotel económico, es muchísimo mejor. La cama también está muy caliente por la noche; no tibia, pero sí caliente. Como punto positivo, una buena ducha. Habitación limpia (creo que recién reformada).

Excellent Location, but Serious Security Lapses I recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a bit of a mixed bag. While there are some undeniable perks to the property, a few significant service and security issues made for a rather unsettling experience. The Highlights Prime Location: This is easily the hotel's strongest suit. It’s situated right next to Haymarket station, and there is a bus stop literally just outside the front door. Getting into the city centre takes no more than 10 minutes, making it a perfect base for exploring. Commendable Service: The reception team provided a decent welcome. I’d like to give a special mention to Shreyas, who was incredibly helpful and professional throughout our interactions. Quality Dining: We ate at the on-site restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. The food was of a high standard, and the waitstaff were attentive and friendly. Room Maintenance & Tech Issues Unfortunately, the shine started to wear off once we settled into the room: Housekeeping Oversights: Despite this being a multi-day stay, the complimentary water bottles were never replaced after the first day. Faulty Tech: The in-room tablet was practically useless. It kept restarting due to a battery fault; ironically, it even cut out while I was trying to use it to contact reception. Privacy Concerns: When we requested extra toilet roll, the staff member who delivered it attempted to walk straight into the room using their key, rather than knocking and waiting for us to answer. It was a complete breach of basic hospitality etiquette. A Major Security Concern The most distressing part of the trip occurred on our second day. Upon returning to our room in the evening, we were shocked to find the main door open. It appears the cleaning staff had failed to secure the door after finishing their rounds. Finding your hotel room left open to the public is, quite frankly, scary. It’s a massive security fail that overshadowed the rest of the stay. While the location is brilliant, the hotel desperately needs to tighten up its staff training and safety protocols. Would I stay again? Only if I were certain that the security and maintenance issues had been addressed.
