The apartment looks exactly as how it was advertised by the owner. The apartment is very cosy and it has a very beautiful view of the sea. It also comes with a bath tub. The owner is very nice: he comes down to fetch us and help us to carry the luggage up. He also provides free usage of the 电车. He also offer to clean the apartment the next day which most Airbnb does not do so. He also 贴心的 prepared a 伴手礼 for us which is very kind of him. Would definitely come back again 😊

Hoteles cómodos y cálidos, desde el techo se puede ver un panorama sorprendente, con camas de cama y un maestro que habla inglés (muy útil para extranjeros como yo).Las instalaciones son muy limpias. Relativamente cerca de la estación de tren, hay muchas estaciones de autobús alrededor, que pueden viajar a diferentes partes de la ciudad. Una excelente opción para viajar en la cabeza

La ubicación es muy buena!Justo en el parque, la hermana de la Srta. Poulent es muy cálida. La higiene es limpia incluso el anillo de las escaleras! La habitación es una sola vez, muy conveniente, es el cuarto con balcón, que es demasiado caliente estos dos días, no puede permanecer en el balcón mucho, pero ¡muy extraño! Cada vez que salen a jugar, la hermana de la gente saluda y dice: ”¿Qué tal si regresan a casa?”, también nos recomienda un placer delicioso. ¡Me gusta la boca de la boca, vuelva la próxima vez!!

Stayed here 3 nights. Pro 1. For accom, it is a studio loft, space is definitely much bigger than hotel room. The view of the city is definitely a plus point. 2. This place provides either free airport drop off or pick up if you stay more than 3 nights 3. Operators are friendly and helpful. Provide value add service. E.g. Assist to book Famous Wuji Beef hotpot, order supper via *******, free soya milk & fruits every evening, free satay sauce as souvenir. A very nice touch. Do remember to add their wechat for all kinds of travel tips. 4. For location, near shopping street 5mins walk. MixC shopping mall, Sunming. 15 mins walk to Longyan South Rd Food St. Many eateries around the area. Cons 1. It is run like a Airbnb/ homestay hence don’t expect cleanliness and amenities on par as those hotel chain. 2. They provide one time recycle bath towel that is a turn off for me. Prefer thick hotel bath towel. 3. The washing machine does not come with dryer function. Overall, it is was a pleasant stay. Suitable will for families with elderly or children. Not for fussy travellers.

The hotel has a good location and I could walk to the old city and xiao gong yuan in 5-10 minutes. You can catch the bus to Nan'Ao Island and Queshi Scenic Area at a bus stop that's also about 5-10 minutes walk. The room was very clean. I arrived at 8+am as I caught an early taxi from Chaozhou and found that there was no staff at the hotel and the front door was locked so I tried to add the hotel contact on WeChat but there was no response. Turns out that the staff only started working at 9am. Perhaps this could be made clear and/or the staff could message the guest the day before the stay to check when they are planning to arrive at the hotel to advise accordingly. Surprisingly they didn't seem to know the info to Nan'Ao island well as it's the top attraction for Shantou but they did help to check and provide whatever info they could. They were also very friendly throughout my stay. There seemed to be a strange (smoky?) smell on the bed and the room is not sound-proof (there was someone watching TV till 1am+ and the sound was loud).

Firstly, we were misguided to think that this is a homestay i.e. a building with a few rooms out for rent. It is actually a modern apartment but scattered over 2 separate high rise blocks. So our group of 4 families had to stay in different blocks due to room configuration. One block has one room whilst the other has 2 rooms. Putting that aside, the accommodation was good. Clean and spacious. The owner was very accommodating as one of the room’s bedding configuration was not suitable for one family but he immediately appointed another unit for them so it was resolved. Beware of the very hard bed even for my standard! There is a washing machine in the unit and a little patio with a fridge and sink but no cooking facilities. Kettle and chinese tea provided and our room has a projector! Dunno how to switch on for shows though due to remote all in chinese. Location was strategic but we had own transporter so it didn’t matter but easily walkable to eateries and convenience store.

The room and bed are good, but the air con is very old and no heater, so, it was very cold at night in winter time like now. The front desk staff confirmed that there was no heater, but could only provide 1 more blanket, but I didn't need that. The location from the map is opposite to the high speed railway station and by the name of the hotel you would expect it's very near and can just cross the road to go to the station, but in reality it is located on the back side of the station and that huge road there had no zebra crossing and the cars run too fast and it links another road downward from the bridge and merge to this road too, making it impossible to cross the road to walk to the station. You instead have to call Didi taxi to pick you up and send you off to the station and need to drive big half round of circle around that huge road to get to the station even if the distance to the station by foot was only 800 metres, so, the location is very inconvenient and there was no restaurants or food stalls or anything interesting to do on this side of the road too.

Exceptional Stay – Panorama Sea View Every staff member I encountered – from reception to housekeeping – went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Their friendliness, efficiency, and genuine hospitality really made me feel valued as a guest. They also help to receive my taobao delivery of parcels. Well down for all staff. They also specially provide our room upgrade for seaview to our special honeymoon couple. The hotel’s room & lobby cleanliness is well-maintained. My room felt fresh, tidy, and inviting, with thoughtful touches that showed the care and attention put into daily upkeep. The housekeeping team did an amazing job, and I truly appreciated their promptness and consistency throughout my stay. The location is also a major highlight – conveniently situated near key attractions located at seaside , dining options, yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep. It made exploring the area effortless, and I could easily return to the hotel for a quick rest before heading out again. The amenities are well-equipped, thoughtfully designed to cater to both leisure and big group of families. From the helpful lounge areas to the private big room, and in-room conveniences, everything was in place to make my stay both enjoyable and productive. Overall, my experience here was nothing short of excellent. It’s rare to find a place that delivers consistently on all fronts – service, location, and amenities – but this hotel truly does. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their dedication and kindness. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future.

服務佳，房間也不錯，不過隔音欠佳。夜裡隔壁房間的客人不自覺，大聲交談，擾人清夢。酒店周邊環境平平，好在門前停車便利。早餐不在酒店內，需步行五十多米，在路邊小店能吃上一份特色腸粉。總體而言，其他方面都令人滿意。

We all together 3 couples checked in 3 hotel rooms at Jinjiang Inn at Shantou 20-22 Dec 2023. We should thumbs up to the on-duty gentleman/manager with a technician who offered his kind service to open up a faulty locked travel baggage belonged to our team-mate after we checked in. Although the hotel is not in the busy city center, it is near to public bus stations for 10 minute ride to Shantou famous old business district /小公园 packed with visitors . We also found that the stall opposite the hotel offered delicious braised pork at very reasonable prices ! Also, we are thankful to the young lady on-duty at the reception for her quick response to our request for a SUV that took us to Chaozhou on 22 Dec. The decent Chinese breakfast at the hotel was acceptable if not compared to 4/5-star rated. Overall we were happy during our stay at Jinjiang Inn Shantou
