Hoteles en Shantou con desayuno

We chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the Shantou railway station. The night prior, we stayed at a nearby Hampton but had a disappointing experience, so this was our first stay with a local Chinese chain brand. Check-in was smooth and efficient, although no English was spoken at the front desk. We had requested a higher-floor, quieter room via WeChat in advance and were initially assigned Room 602. Upon entering, the room appeared clean and well-maintained. However, we encountered an unusual and inconvenient issue with the Wi-Fi. Guests are instructed to turn on the TV to access the Wi-Fi password, but we discovered that the TV must remain on in order for the Wi-Fi to function. This was confirmed by multiple staff members, including what appeared to be a front desk supervisor. This setup was quite disruptive, as the TV screen is bright and cannot be dimmed, and the work desk is positioned directly in front of it. To their credit, Ms. Lin—responded promptly and offered to move us to another room (also 602, but with a different layout). The new layout was more practical, with the desk positioned at a 90-degree angle from the TV, which helped mitigate the issue somewhat. That said, the second room had its own drawback: there was a noticeable gap in the window, which allowed in road noise. Since we stayed over the weekend, traffic noise and honking were quite noticeable at night. In addition, we heard neighbors chatting and laughing past midnight. Lotion could be a nice addition too. A small humidifier with scented oil definitely gave a zen touch. Aside from these two issues (Wi-Fi dependency on the TV and sound insulation), the overall stay was comfortable. As a gesture of goodwill, the hotel provided complimentary breakfast. While we are not typically breakfast eaters, we did try the noodle station. The offerings were entirely Chinese-style. One suggestion would be to label the protein options more clearly (in Chinese or English), as we observed multiple guests asking staff about them—one of which turned out to be pig’s heart. Overall, this was a good introduction to a Chinese domestic hotel brand. I learned that they got a few locations in Europe. While there are areas for improvement, particularly in technology setup and soundproofing, the service recovery effort and general room quality made for a satisfactory stay.

Vi el hotel Atour, supuestamente de alta gama, clasificado en segundo lugar y, basándome en las reseñas, decidí ir. Al entrar, el vestíbulo era muy bonito, pero no formaba parte del área privada de los huéspedes. Había muy pocos aparcamientos, y la verdad es que había frutas pequeñas y excrementos de pájaros cayendo de los árboles, así que no me atrevía a meter el coche por miedo a no encontrar sitio y a tener que lavarlo al salir del hotel. Contras: 1. Reservé una habitación executive con dos camas, pero me sorprendió lo pequeña que era. No era lo que se espera de una habitación executive. 2. Suelo llevar mis propias sábanas y fundas de edredón cuando me hospedo en hoteles. Al hacer la cama, encontré pelos en las almohadas y también en las sábanas. Las almohadas y los edredones tampoco estaban tan blancos. Llamé a recepción y la camarera vino, echó un vistazo y dijo: 'Seguro que han sido los chicos de limpieza que tienen las manos un poco torpes y no lo limpiaron bien', insistiendo en que las sábanas eran nuevas. Después, recepción no hizo un seguimiento del asunto. 3. Atour es famoso por sus almohadas, edredones y albornoces. Me decepcionó mucho. A solid, modern choice for a short trip. The property is fresh and has some really cool features, like the robot that delivers food directly to your doorstep—it's a very convenient and cool touch. Highlights: Love the dual-pillow options (soft/hard) and the 24-hour front desk that helps manage the laundry for you. We were also grateful for the free room extension until 1 PM. Drawbacks: No ground-floor staff to help with bags since the lobby is on Level 2. Wi-Fi signal is weak, and the breakfast is the same every day (though there are many eateries nearby). Smells: You’ll notice the wet market smell outside and the strong essential oil scent in the lobby, but it’s manageable since you aren't at the hotel lobby all day.

Habitaciones estupendas con un baño grande. Incluso nos dieron una lista de recomendaciones sobre qué comer y qué visitar. También nos dieron fruta al hacer el check-in. Hay mucho espacio en el aparcamiento. Hay cafeterías geniales a menos de 5 minutos a pie.

Great furnishing and located right at the city center of Shantou. Facilities were not much to avail, with no refrigerator or microwaves in the hotel or even on the floor. Staff are attentive but quite young. FYI staffing hours are only until night so you will need a card to come back. Love the concept, just the facilities leave a little to be desired.

El hotel es nuevo y cuenta con muchos restaurantes cercanos. Está a pocos pasos de la calle de ZhuJiang Food. El XiaoDu en nuestra habitación no es muy sensible y no sabíamos cómo ajustar el aire acondicionado como pensamos que estaba controlado centralmente. La habitación se sentía muy caliente, pero no se lo aclaró con el personal.

All good especially the service and food for breakfast. The best breakfast selection for all the Hampton hotels by Hilton I have stayed . Special thanks to Ms Joy from the front desk who provided very informative and well recommended places to eat for local foods in that area . Her patience must be commended !👍

Very friendly and quick responsible. Lots of meal choice for dinner and lunch but not breakfast, we settled with McD. Like the coastal park with great view while I did my morning run. Very clean apartment and equipped with all our essentials.

Yuting bie yuan is clean and tidy, and it's within walking distance to the longyan south road. We enjoyed the breakfast, and at night we watched a movie using the projector provided.

Staff are friendly and very helpful. I was locked out on Didi car ride due to previous payment incorrectly paid directly to the driver via WeChat, the concierge staff helped me to send messages to didi customer service to explain my situation and unlocked my account; moreover, the staff also helped me to call a ride service using his apps and allowed me to pay him back. Thanks to their attentive service that made our trip smooth and easy.
