Hoteles con spa en Hue

The hotel is not in the city centre, but that's why we choose it ..... for the tranquility and the quite environment. The establishment is impeccable, we pay around HK$8xx, and have to admit this is very good value (even considering not much facilities). The restaurant team are awesome, very attentive, eagar to assist in a warm and welcoming manner. We went for breadfast daily, and from the second day, they remember our breakfast drink! The spa, much room for improvement...... considering the price, really would not expect ”smelly” bath robe (the price is around 2 to 3 times the price one pay at a spa parlour locally). During my stay, the hotel is under a planned renovation construction (we were told) - work is going on even over the weekends, that was very unfortunate. Especially we are looking for a quite hotel! I really think they should state at the booking portal and let people know! The most disappointing part is, the reception team were recommending car service to us (for our return trip to Danang). The original price quote was US$92. We booked. On the departure day, we were asked to pay, the bill was shown in VND (local currency) and I noticed there are service charge and tax applied. So I ask if the US$92 included the service charge and tax. The reception gentleman was slight agitated and say something like ”every body knows service charge and tax are applied to bills in Vietnam”. We were then checking the bill and tried to figure out if the US$92 were inclusive of the service charge and tax. While we were doing that, the reception gentleman told us, yes, the US$92 were already including the the service charge and tax. We were a bit itimidated then, and not wanting to further ruin our holiday mood, so we paid and leave. The car trip was very pleasant and the driver was very polite and attentive. When we are home, we check the bill again, and find out, we paid around US$112 for the trip. (ie, the originally quote price US$92 is not inclusive of service and tax. More so, the reception gentleman that explained the price to us, was either uncompetent or dishonest!

El hotel es relativamente nuevo y está bien mantenido. Lo único que no me gustó fue que la ducha no tiene calentador de agua instantáneo. Hay que esperar a que salga el agua caliente y el suministro es limitado. Todo lo demás es muy bueno. El desayuno superó mis expectativas para un hotel pequeño, con una gran variedad de opciones. El personal es muy atento. Tienen conductores y coches que se pueden reservar. El conductor es muy amable y habla algo de inglés. Utilizamos el servicio de traslado de Da Nang a Hue y una excursión de un día en Hue con traslado al aeropuerto. Fue una experiencia muy agradable con el conductor. La vista desde la terraza también es muy buena.

The service at Ancient Hue Garden Houses was incredible! Everything was nice and helpful. They even called us to see if we wanted breakfast and they extended the availability by an extra hour. The hotel is really beautiful, with a mix of traditional royal architecture and French colonial. There are two pools and two restaurants as well. The location is near the Imperial City by a stream in a quiet area of the city. It was a great respite to the bustle of motorbikes in the city center. I highly recommend it.

Las habitaciones del hotel estaban muy limpias y la comida del restaurante deliciosa; el personal de recepción fue muy amable y profesional. El hotel tenía una excelente relación calidad-precio. El día que me fui, Hue estaba inundado, y el hotel me ayudó a llamar a la estación de tren para preguntar sobre los horarios. Cuando cancelaron los trenes, me ayudaron a conseguir un taxi para irme de Hue, y el conductor fue muy responsable al ayudarnos a encontrar una ruta aún accesible a Da Nang. Gracias al hotel por su ayuda y organización.

Esta era mi primera vez en un Banyan Tree y mi primera vez en Vietnam, así que estaba emocionada y nerviosa a la vez. El resultado fue inesperadamente bueno; la experiencia fue fantástica y superó mis expectativas. El hotel no es nuevo, pero todos los muebles y accesorios del baño estaban impecablemente mantenidos. En comparación con otros hoteles en los que me he alojado en los últimos años, como el Westin en Phuket e incluso el Dusit Thani en las Maldivas, los estándares de la marca Banyan Tree son excepcionalmente consistentes y completos. La limpieza de la habitación dos veces al día, los pequeños obsequios y refrigerios diarios, y un delicioso baño de burbujas y una decoración romántica para dos el último día fueron sorpresas encantadoras. Como nuestra villa estaba en la cima de una colina, el carrito eléctrico estaba siempre disponible, y todo el personal nos brindó un servicio siempre amable y paciente. Incluso con un inglés limitado, no había ninguna de las típicas sonrisas falsas que se ven a menudo en la industria hotelera. El spa merece una mención especial. Habiendo probado los spas de los hoteles hermanos Banyan Tree y Angsana, las técnicas eran profesionales, dedicadas y con una excelente relación calidad-precio. Visité el spa cuatro veces durante mis siete días y ocho noches, y aún quería más. No tengo palabras para expresar mi admiración. La verdad es que soy una persona muy exigente y un poco maniática de la limpieza. En los últimos veinte años, me he alojado en varios hoteles de cinco estrellas en islas de diferentes continentes. Estoy realmente agradecida por este viaje, porque fue una decisión de último momento; reservé y pagué en septiembre. Después de la visita, mi ansiedad inicial se transformó en gratitud y satisfacción. Tengo que decir que soy fan de Banyan Tree. Espero probar otros hoteles Banyan Tree en China este año.

A haven for my soul !!! I accidentally discovered Va Riverside Retreat, and it turned out to be a hidden haven along the peaceful Huong River. The scenery here is simply serene—watching the golden sunset reflected on the water and waking up to the sound of birds at dawn felt like stepping into another world. Besides relaxing in the refreshing pool, I also had the chance to try paddle boarding on the river. One of the most unique moments was listening to the mystical melodies of the Hầu Đồng ceremonies drifting across from Hon Chen Temple—a truly authentic touch of Vietnamese culture. The local breakfast was delicious, simple yet full of flavor, and made the mornings even more memorable. What stood out the most was the staff—they welcomed me like family, making me feel at home even though I was far away from mine. If you’re looking for more than just a stay, but an experience that touches both your senses and soul, I highly recommend coming here. Discover it as I did, and perhaps you’ll enjoy it even more than I did.

This is so far the best ever resort I've had the pleasure to stay at. From exclusive and delicious food, to a delightful Spa, this resort has everything you need or want. The restaurants: Moomba, Rice Bowl, Rice Bar and Saffron, offer a wonderful selection of dishes suitable for lovers of meat and fish, and also suitable for vegans as well. The pool is incredible and has a nice little bar. The staff members are beyond friendly and caring. They remember your names, they always ask about your stay and they pay close attention to all of your needs. Especially, I'd love to mention Hien, who was very kind and caring, Linh, a wonderful lady, making sure we had no issues during the stay, and Trinh, who was a joy to talk to when we visited the golf facility. Overall, it was our second time there and we'd definitely go back!

La habitación es mayor. Salud: Bien Medio ambiente: bueno, especialmente el restaurante de desayuno buffet del 9o piso. Puede ver toda la ciudad de Xinjiang, junto a la escuela primaria de Hu Chiming. Desde la estación de tren, las atracciones son muy cercanas. El servicio es muy bueno. Especialmente el servidor de puertas, especialmente positivo, enviar el equipaje a la habitación. Puede almacenar el equipaje gratis. Lo 👍

Este hotel, de principios del siglo XX, rebosa historia. Todo está repleto de información sobre la historia del hotel, incluyendo su arquitectura y sus visitantes ilustres. El desayuno y la ubicación son sus únicos puntos a favor. Sin embargo, las habitaciones son bastante antiguas y deterioradas, lo cual es una pena, ya que no se han renovado.

The hotel is in a convenient location, about a 20 minutes walk to the old city. Plenty of eateries and shops around. It's also just a 25 minutes drive to the train station (we took the scenic train to Danang). The room was ok and mostly clean, but the bed was very hard and the pillows felt like a sac of potato. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel seems to caters mainly to Chinese tour groups. They are very noisy and unruly. The breakfast area felt like a market, the bread and pastries were stale and un-edible, the bacon was hard and dry. Maybe the Asian fare was good, the continental/western fare was terrible. Would not recommend!
