La ubicación es excelente, a poca distancia del barrio de Thamel. Está cerca de la zona, pero es tranquilo y silencioso. Nos ofrecieron bebidas calientes al registrarnos, lo cual fue perfecto para un cálido día de invierno. La habitación estaba muy limpia y tranquila, y el hotel tuvo la amabilidad de ofrecernos un pastel. El servicio de lavandería también fue muy práctico y eficiente. Todo el personal fue muy servicial. El tío, que estaba ocupado con nuestro equipaje, nos ayudó a identificar nuestras matrículas (ya que aquí las matrículas son en números arábigos), y el joven de recepción nos ayudó a reservar los billetes de autobús.

We knew the service would be good as soon as we booked, and within hours we received a welcome email, listing the ways we could contact them if we needed to. On the pick up at the airport, they were speedy and efficient and the taxi ride only took us 20 minutes with traffic. As we walked through the door we were blown away by the interior decoration, only then to find that hotel had been a former palace! Historic artifacts and pictures were strewn through the hallways and the outside only matched the royal feel with perfection. We stayed in the royal suite, with a big bed and balcony. The staff were great, the breakfast was standard for off peak times and although the location isn't in the depth of Thamel, the area most will go out for eating and drinking, it was within 30 minutes drive of most landmarks and as it was the ambassedy/ office worker area, there was a nice vibe. There were some things that can't be controlled. The hotel did a good job of providing heat as the weather in February is still chilly. The pollution was real. Especially as you walk nearer the streets, something to think about if you are sensitive to this. Apart from that, It was all really wonderful. Me alojé cinco noches en total, demasiado agotada por el viaje para cambiar de hotel, pero el hotel fue decepcionante en todo momento. Tras varios intentos fallidos de solucionar el problema con el restaurante, solo recibí una disculpa y una compensación después de contactar de nuevo con Ctrip. En el desayuno, me detuvieron en la puerta por un error del personal, y tras una segunda comprobación, ni siquiera se disculparon. Después de hacer el check-out, cené en el restaurante y pedí la misma pasta que había pedido antes, pero olía muchísimo a agua sucia o a trapo de cocina. Lo único positivo fue la actitud del personal; tanto Katmandú como el hotel en general fueron decepcionantes.

Estaba un poco preocupado porque no había reseñas de gente japonesa, pero las calificaciones de Google eran buenas, así que hice una reserva y ¡fue todo un éxito! El diseño parecía nuevo, así que pregunté por él y me dijeron que había sido inaugurado el mes pasado y que era increíblemente hermoso. (Por eso entiendo por qué hay tan pocas reseñas). Estaba muy limpio y era barato, ¡y definitivamente me quedaría aquí nuevamente si me quedara en Katmandú!

Me he alojado en otros lugares de precio similar, pero la habitación aquí estaba en las mejores condiciones, y el servicio del personal fue excelente. Es agradable que un hotel limpio esté ubicado en el centro de la zona turística. Una parte inesperadamente agradable de mi viaje a Nepal fue el tiempo que pasé paseando por las callejuelas de Bhaktapur.

cozy room, bed was big and clean. very spacious room. clean swimming pool. foods were great at the restaurant.

The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

El hotel tiene una ubicación perfecta, a 20 minutos en coche del aeropuerto. Es increíble: la habitación es grande, los artículos de baño son muy útiles, el servicio es excelente y el desayuno es muy variado y a la vez un poco pesado. Buena relación calidad-precio.

I have stayed in this hotel multiple times but it gets progressively worse each stay. The only good thing is the location, the fact that it is near the airport and it’s only good for international arrival passengers not for departures. As someone who had quite a heavy luggage and a morning flight, it sure was an excruciating workout to walk a steep ramp with a trolley full of luggages to reach the departure hall which is entirely on another platform compared to the arrival halls. I’d only recommend it to people who have lighter luggages, arriving passengers and/or people who have late night flights because a having a hotel near saves a lot of time . The rooms were fine but there were a lot of insects likes moths, even though all the windows and doors were shut close. The beddings had stains and the worse part was that there were feces stains in the toilet which showed that cleaning was not done properly, even though they made me wait 20-30 mins to just to check in after arriving at the hotel. The good thing is that the staff were very attentive, especially the man in the reception. He was very kind, friendly and knowledgeable.
