Desde que el Hilton se incendió, los precios se han duplicado, pero las instalaciones del hotel también se han quedado bastante anticuadas. En concreto: 1. Sin aire acondicionado, la temperatura de la habitación sube rápidamente, haciéndola insoportable. Con el aire acondicionado encendido, el ruido de la ventilación es extremadamente fuerte y molesto. 2. Tras mucha negociación con recepción, conseguí cambiar de habitación, pero la tapa del inodoro se cayó dentro. ¡Además, había zonas del suelo que no estaban bien limpias! He hablado de estos problemas con el hotel. Finalmente, volví a contactar con el hotel esperando una compensación, pero me respondieron que no habría ninguna, solo un reembolso y un cambio de hotel. ¡A más de 1400 yuanes la noche, simplemente no merece la pena!

We knew the service would be good as soon as we booked, and within hours we received a welcome email, listing the ways we could contact them if we needed to. On the pick up at the airport, they were speedy and efficient and the taxi ride only took us 20 minutes with traffic. As we walked through the door we were blown away by the interior decoration, only then to find that hotel had been a former palace! Historic artifacts and pictures were strewn through the hallways and the outside only matched the royal feel with perfection. We stayed in the royal suite, with a big bed and balcony. The staff were great, the breakfast was standard for off peak times and although the location isn't in the depth of Thamel, the area most will go out for eating and drinking, it was within 30 minutes drive of most landmarks and as it was the ambassedy/ office worker area, there was a nice vibe. There were some things that can't be controlled. The hotel did a good job of providing heat as the weather in February is still chilly. The pollution was real. Especially as you walk nearer the streets, something to think about if you are sensitive to this. Apart from that, It was all really wonderful. Si te alojas en Katmandú, este hotel es una buena opción. Lo mejor es que es nuevo (abrió sus puertas en 2024). Todo el personal, incluyendo el del spa y el desayuno, es muy atento. Además, todo está en perfecto estado, como las duchas y los baños de las habitaciones, el wifi, las tarjetas de acceso electrónicas y la televisión por internet. Lamentablemente, otros hoteles suelen ser un poco más antiguos, con aparatos electrónicos rotos, algo sucios o que no funcionan. Si bien es cierto que los hoteles más antiguos tienen jardines y una ubicación excelente, no se pueden comparar con las instalaciones más modernas. El desayuno también tenía unas vistas preciosas. Soy japonés y vivo en el extranjero. Recomiendo este hotel tranquilo y apacible para familias con niños y, por supuesto, para quienes viajan solos.

Me he alojado en otros lugares de precio similar, pero la habitación aquí estaba en las mejores condiciones, y el servicio del personal fue excelente. El agua de la piscina estaba templada, así que fue agradable nadar por la tarde. En cuanto a la sauna, comparada con las de Corea, simplemente se agradece tener una. Un amigo que usó el gimnasio dijo que estaba bien. Mientras desayunaba en el piso 12, fui al baño del piso 11 y vi una clase de yoga con mucha gente participando. Es agradable que un hotel limpio esté ubicado en el centro de la zona turística. Una parte inesperadamente agradable de mi viaje a Nepal fue el tiempo que pasé paseando por las callejuelas de Bhaktapur.

Very good value for money. The location is not ideal if you want to explore Kathmandu but it's perfect if you have to catch a flight the following day. The view of the city from the rooftop is also amazing.

Nice Old Hotel, Great Staff with few needs to improve. Swimming pool is totally disappointment. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all. The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great. 2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges. Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience. Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days. Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern. Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager. A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.

The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

酒店服務非常專業，早餐豐富，前台服務熱情周到。説要水，很快就送來了。而且酒店裡面有電吹風，洗澡熱水非常舒適。 很多中國人到其他地方找中餐吃，結果發現最正宗的中餐在酒店樓上九層。而且這裏的巧克力布朗尼，非常正宗。原本應該是和冰淇淋一起吃，我提出來要吃熱的，酒店立即做了熱呼呼的冰激凌。酒店旁邊有個加德滿都最大的農貿市場，6個大蘋果，衹要不到20元人民幣。這裏什麼蔬菜水果都能買到。 因為加德滿都經常堵車，如果銜接航班，酒店離機場很近，這又是一大優勢。

Encantador Hotel, muy bien ubicado y cerca de todo. Con tiendas, cafeteria y restaurant en el mismo sitio del hotel, lo que facilita mucho el encuentro con la familia y amigos. Excelente servicio en un hotel con historia.Muy recomendable
