Hoteles en Katmandú con desayuno

Me alojé en este hotel en Katmandú varias noches y me encantó el ambiente. Las habitaciones eran increíblemente cómodas, me hicieron sentir como en casa. La cama también era muy cómoda; me sentía increíblemente relajado cada noche. Las habitaciones estaban muy limpias y el ambiente en general era tranquilo, así que no tuve que preocuparme por si me molestaban por la noche. El agua caliente del baño salía constante y la presión era fuerte, lo que hacía que ducharse fuera una experiencia realmente agradable, algo muy importante para los viajeros. La ubicación también era muy práctica; estaba a poca distancia a pie de muchos lugares, con cambio de divisas y un pequeño supermercado cerca, lo que lo hacía muy práctico. En general, fue un hotel muy relajante y cómodo, y sin duda me alojaría aquí de nuevo si volviera a Katmandú. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente a cualquiera que viaje a Nepal.

Hotel perfecto para una estadía agradable en Katmandu. El personal muy amable hizo nuestra estancia perfecta, siempre con una sonrisa, en especial nuestro cocinero de huevos en el desayuno y Ram el chef. En recepción nos ayudaron con todas las dudas y recomendaciones del lugar. Las habitaciones muy limpias con todo lo necesario, hasta una cafetera y unas galletas muy ricas para el coffee brake, que reponian todos los dias, incluso nos llevaron fruta de temporada. El restaurante de arriba tipo chill out con buena musica y comida muy buena. Elegi este hotel por la valoración en las páginas de viaje y SI ES CIERTO, la valoración es muy alta por el buen trabajo del personal, el espacio muy bien decorado y la zona céntrica.

Kantipur Temple House is my choice of accommodation each time I visit Kathmandu. There’s always a relaxing welcome when arriving after the hustle and bustle of the journey from the airport. An oasis amid the chaos, full of nostalgia and ancient charm. The rooftop yoga is an added bonus, highly recommended.

Me he alojado en otros lugares de precio similar, pero la habitación aquí estaba en las mejores condiciones, y el servicio del personal fue excelente. El agua de la piscina estaba templada, así que fue agradable nadar por la tarde. En cuanto a la sauna, comparada con las de Corea, simplemente se agradece tener una. Un amigo que usó el gimnasio dijo que estaba bien. Mientras desayunaba en el piso 12, fui al baño del piso 11 y vi una clase de yoga con mucha gente participando. Es agradable que un hotel limpio esté ubicado en el centro de la zona turística. Una parte inesperadamente agradable de mi viaje a Nepal fue el tiempo que pasé paseando por las callejuelas de Bhaktapur.

En general, una buena estancia con un servicio excelente. El hotel es bastante bueno en general. Ofrece buenas instalaciones como gimnasio, sauna, baño de vapor y piscina infinita. Lamentablemente, no pude nadar durante mi estancia porque la piscina estaba muy llena de niños ruidosos en ese momento. Lo que más me impresionó fue el personal: fueron extremadamente serviciales y amables. Su hospitalidad fue realmente excepcional e hizo que la estancia fuera aún más agradable.

The hotel is conveniently situated right behind of the Garden of Dreams. Just a short walking distance to the busy Thamel area. The vicinity has convenience stores, cafes, eateries and pharmacy. The room is quite small but it's alright for a short stay. The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as other hotels that I've stayed. Very basic fitness facility in the hotel, do wish that they would make the gym bigger and better equipped. The breakfast buffet is good enough for some fuel before heading out to explore. Omelette could definitely be improved but I do like the mushrooms and bacon with my omelette. They also have a soup station which you can pick what you want to go into your soup. The soy latte was nicely done. Some day they serve the chocolate cake which is a must try. Staffs are very well trained and speaks good english. I'd definitely recommend staying here for the value for money, fantastic location and good hospitality.

The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

Location is alright, there’s occasional cockroaches running past you when you are in the room, cleanliness has a lot to improve on. Worst part is that I booked a single room and was given a room next to the elevator with a window without curtain, anyone tall enough would be able to look into my room and everything in it, to add on to that, the room was next to the elevator and you can hear every footstep and noise/chat coming from the corridor, and when the elevator moves, there’s this super unnecessary music that runs with it so you would get a sense of that throughout the day and night. When I went to the receptionist to ask for a different room, she told me there’s no other rooms available and I have to pay an extra 1500 rupee to upgrade to a different room, that amount, adding with the original I paid for- would already be much higher than a standard deluxe room. Obviously she and the hotel was trying to scam me by leveraging on giving a super lousy room at first. Even though they eventually agreed to change room for me at no charge, I was honestly traumatised by this hotel and was uncomfortable through the stay. Then at check-out in the next morning, the guy was reluctant to let me go asking if I had already paid and making calls to confirm about it. Overall there’s surely better rooms for similar price in Thamel, so do try to skip this hotel unless you like some good memorable reasons to spoil your trip.

Encantador Hotel, muy bien ubicado y cerca de todo. Con tiendas, cafeteria y restaurant en el mismo sitio del hotel, lo que facilita mucho el encuentro con la familia y amigos. Excelente servicio en un hotel con historia.Muy recomendable

I stayed for 2 nights, it didn't feel safe for me as a solo woman traveller. One the first night around 11pm there were 3-4 men shouting and laughing and knocked my door. I was scared and called the reception. The phone wire was not connected to the phone, i have to hold it tight to the phone while i was speaking. It was a terrifying experience. When in emergency even the phone wasn't working! the receptionist took 30 min to for the men to calm down. The next day morning the receptionist told me they men moved out. But i saw them in the evening in the hotel. Didn't feel safe. Again, the men, shouting and aloud. Still i couldn't sleep there, awake whole two nights i stayed there, didn't feel safe. The place was clean. Location was good.
