Hoteles en Katmandú con desayuno

Hoy es mi último día en este hotel. Mis amigos se fueron a otra ciudad a escalar montañas, dejándome solo en el hotel. Desayuné solo esta mañana, disfrutando del paisaje y charlando con el personal del hotel; todos fueron increíblemente amables y acogedores. Lo que más quiero destacar es la ubicación y el entorno; ¡es absolutamente perfecto! Si estás planeando un viaje, no dudes en visitarlo antes de decidirte. Sin duda, volveré a elegir este hotel la próxima vez que esté en Nepal. También miré otros hoteles en la zona, pero la ubicación y el entorno siempre son mis principales prioridades. Esta fue la mejor opción para mí. Claro que cada persona tiene sus preferencias de alojamiento, pero para mí, ¡la experiencia aquí fue realmente fantástica!

Kantipur Temple House is my choice of accommodation each time I visit Kathmandu. There’s always a relaxing welcome when arriving after the hustle and bustle of the journey from the airport. An oasis amid the chaos, full of nostalgia and ancient charm. The rooftop yoga is an added bonus, highly recommended.

Estaba un poco preocupado porque no había reseñas de gente japonesa, pero las calificaciones de Google eran buenas, así que hice una reserva y ¡fue todo un éxito! El diseño parecía nuevo, así que pregunté por él y me dijeron que había sido inaugurado el mes pasado y que era increíblemente hermoso. (Por eso entiendo por qué hay tan pocas reseñas). Creo que este hotel también sería adecuado para japoneses, por eso escribo esta reseña. [Puntos positivos] •Es un edificio nuevo, por lo que está nuevo y limpio. •Las tomas de corriente son de diseño global y hay muchas de ellas (incluso las de tipo USB en la cabecera de la cama) Dos botellas de agua de 1 litro. • Incluye jacuzzi, sauna y sauna de niebla (no lo probé, pero la sauna de niebla olía tan bien que quería probarla. Creo que es buena idea llevar traje de baño). •El desayuno es delicioso! ¡También hacen té masala! •El personal es extremadamente amable (incluso el gerente habla un poco de japonés) •Está ubicado lejos de la carretera principal, por lo que es tranquilo por la noche. •¡El colchón de la cama era firme y dormí profundamente! Estuve varias noches pero no había servicio de limpieza. Esperaba eso ya que tenía mi equipaje distribuido, pero me hubiera gustado que al menos hubieran cambiado las toallas. Si lo pedías en recepción te daban toallas nuevas así que no había problema. Había una casa de cambio en el camino al hotel y el precio no estaba nada mal. Estaba muy limpio y era barato, ¡y definitivamente me quedaría aquí nuevamente si me quedara en Katmandú!

Me he alojado en otros lugares de precio similar, pero la habitación aquí estaba en las mejores condiciones, y el servicio del personal fue excelente. El agua de la piscina estaba templada, así que fue agradable nadar por la tarde. En cuanto a la sauna, comparada con las de Corea, simplemente se agradece tener una. Un amigo que usó el gimnasio dijo que estaba bien. Mientras desayunaba en el piso 12, fui al baño del piso 11 y vi una clase de yoga con mucha gente participando. Es agradable que un hotel limpio esté ubicado en el centro de la zona turística. Una parte inesperadamente agradable de mi viaje a Nepal fue el tiempo que pasé paseando por las callejuelas de Bhaktapur.

En general, una buena estancia con un servicio excelente. El hotel es bastante bueno en general. Ofrece buenas instalaciones como gimnasio, sauna, baño de vapor y piscina infinita. Lamentablemente, no pude nadar durante mi estancia porque la piscina estaba muy llena de niños ruidosos en ese momento. Lo que más me impresionó fue el personal: fueron extremadamente serviciales y amables. Su hospitalidad fue realmente excepcional e hizo que la estancia fuera aún más agradable.

The hotel is conveniently situated right behind of the Garden of Dreams. Just a short walking distance to the busy Thamel area. The vicinity has convenience stores, cafes, eateries and pharmacy. The room is quite small but it's alright for a short stay. The bed wasn't quite as comfortable as other hotels that I've stayed. Very basic fitness facility in the hotel, do wish that they would make the gym bigger and better equipped. The breakfast buffet is good enough for some fuel before heading out to explore. Omelette could definitely be improved but I do like the mushrooms and bacon with my omelette. They also have a soup station which you can pick what you want to go into your soup. The soy latte was nicely done. Some day they serve the chocolate cake which is a must try. Staffs are very well trained and speaks good english. I'd definitely recommend staying here for the value for money, fantastic location and good hospitality.

The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

I stayed for 2 nights, it didn't feel safe for me as a solo woman traveller. One the first night around 11pm there were 3-4 men shouting and laughing and knocked my door. I was scared and called the reception. The phone wire was not connected to the phone, i have to hold it tight to the phone while i was speaking. It was a terrifying experience. When in emergency even the phone wasn't working! the receptionist took 30 min to for the men to calm down. The next day morning the receptionist told me they men moved out. But i saw them in the evening in the hotel. Didn't feel safe. Again, the men, shouting and aloud. Still i couldn't sleep there, awake whole two nights i stayed there, didn't feel safe. The place was clean. Location was good.

Their toilet door's nob was broken and one of my friend was trapped inside for 30 min almost. It happened 2 times. They didnt offer us to change the room. We were humbly passed the night. Such a good hotel like KGH should take this things seriously.
