UUsuario invitadoMuy satisfecho entrar en la puerta para estacionar un coche bueno y tener un coche interior del hotel para llevarnos a la recepción. El entorno es muy bueno, piscina sin bordes, junto a la playa. La habitación está satisfecha con todas mis fantasías sobre el hotel de vacaciones realmente quiero vivir más por un tiempo. Lo que hay en WhatsApp es que los camareros están en contacto en cualquier momento. La más agradecida es que hemos equivocado el tiempo de vuelo y que los camareros descubrieron que esto evitó que llegamos pronto al aeropuerto para quedarse en el hotel.

小小K宝宝Compare to Lux Belle Mare and Lux Grand Baie, Lux le morne is a disappointment in terms of service level. The structure of the buildings look nostalgic but it’s well maintained. The level of hygiene seems to be high. I love the beach which has the best on the island. But it is a shame they couldn’t utilise this. If you imagine the other two lux hotels I mentioned above are for Waitrose and harrods sippers then this le morne hotel is for Tesco shoppers.
They made mistakes in billing and quality of drinks is mediocre. I can do better at home.

On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome.
The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice.
We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food.
The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for.
Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience:
- Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness
- Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful
- Rooms didn’t feel clean
- Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast
- Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it)
We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

UUsuario invitadoNous avons beaucoup apprécié le cadre, les buffets étaient très appréciés du point de vue de la nourriture, qualité et diversité. Manger avec la vue sur l’océan a été très appréciable. Le personnel très présent et bienveillant, ainsi que d’une grande gentillesse.
Merci infiniment à Emilie pour ses conseils et disponibilité.
Merci au chef pour le repas que nous avons dégusté, le plateau de fruits de mer, car ça été un moment inoubliable.
Concernant le SPA, dont nous avons fait un massage en duo, avec bain, merci à Sweta et Léanne pour leur professionnalisme et la qualité de leur travail. J’ai également fait une manucure avec pose vernis semi-permanent avec Léanne et son travail fût top 👍🏻

Nous remercions tout le personnel ainsi que les managers du complexe Tamarina, car notre séjour s’est extrêmement bien passé, dans un cadre calme et de toute beauté.

HHuyaniuniuNo hay muchas críticas sobre este hotel, así que se lo presentaré en serio. Reservamos el tipo de habitación Nirvana. Este tipo de habitación es solo para adultos. Está en la zona más alejada del lado del hotel. También hay un restaurante separado para el desayuno. Tiene una piscina separada. Es tranquilo y hermoso con pocas personas. Por eso elegí Le Méridien esta vez. . Los platos principales del restaurante de desayunos son a la carta y saben muy bien. El paisaje a la orilla del mar es particularmente hermoso. La falta de aglomeraciones y la tranquilidad es realmente la mayor ventaja, es realmente apto para tumbarse.
La habitación es larga y esbelta, y hay una pequeña piscina en el balcón de la parte trasera que no se ha utilizado. La habitación debería haber sido renovada, se ven signos de renovación, pero no es exquisita.
El ambiente y los servicios del hotel son bastante buenos, hay muchos artículos gratis en la casa de la playa, tomamos un bote con fondo de cristal y practicamos snorkel en alta mar.
La cena buffet del hotel realmente no era deliciosa ni acorde con los gustos chinos, no me atreví a probar otras opciones, en los días siguientes condujimos ida y vuelta durante 2 horas para comer comida china afuera.
El ambiente del hotel es muy hermoso y la experiencia general de la estadía es buena.

TTarynAn amazing hotel right on the water with every room facing the water. The staff are friendly and always willing to help. Beautiful big rooms with lovely balconies. The dinner and breakfast were also really good, with a great variety and a lovely outdoor area to sit at.
I do however think the cleaning staff need to take a bit more care when cleaning. We were there for 6 nights and 3 of the nights we had to phone housekeeping because we did not have towels, or we did not get toilet paper, or we did not get our bath robes… and then housekeeping took at least 20-30minutes to bring the items.
The other thing was that they put a single duvet into a double duvet - so when you are sleeping there are many times when you only have a sheet and no duvet. Maybe change that.
Otherwise I really can’t complain about anything. There are plenty of beach chairs and there were always chairs available and it was an amazing and relaxing place.

RRanoshI had a great stay at Royal Green Resort. The hotel is very clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The location is good if you have a car — about 57 minutes from the airport by car. I would like to thank Vedhna in particular; she was professional and very kind in all her interactions with me.
