The Oberoi Beach Resort, Mauritius

The Oberoi Mauritius has been by far the best hotel that we have stayed, this comment is made based on traveling across the world and not limited to travels in Mauritius. The staff paid careful attention to satisfying our every need and personal food requests that were happily accommodated by the hotel’s chef. Having fallen ill while traveling, the hotel doctor was readily available for a consult and prescribed medication within a timely manner. The visit to the spa was relaxing and all rooms were well-maintained. The therapist was able to provide treatments on our individual needs. The room was beautifully decorated with a private pool and garden, this meant that we were lucky enough to have our breakfast with a magnificent sea view🌊. Overall a true five star ⭐️ hotel that delivers an exceptional experience to its guests. Well done Oberoi Team⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Resort de playa Oberoi Mauricio! Te has ganado mi corazón y me has hecho tu huésped de por vida. Desde la recogida en el aeropuerto hasta nuestra habitación, nuestra vista, nuestra comida, el taxi para ver los lugares de interés, todo ha sido una experiencia maravillosa. Me dieron una idea de la cultura Oberoi, se superaron con su impecable servicio al cliente. Me mostraste que el resort Oberoi y la cultura mauriciana son lo mismo: cálido, afectuoso y muy acogedor. Cualquier establecimiento que tenga la capacidad de retener a sus empleados durante más de 20 años habla por sí mismo. Desde el momento en que entramos en las instalaciones del hotel. Recibimos una gran bienvenida que siempre recordaremos. Bhavna fue nuestra asistente de recepción que nos llevó a nuestra habitación. Raj y Pritam llevaron nuestras maletas a la habitación y las colocaron ordenadamente. Raj nos llevó en el BMW para disfrutar de las vistas del viaje al sur. El Sr. Ghanshyam, el chef principal de 'The Rock', vino personalmente a hablar con nosotros y a darle opciones vegetarianas a mi madre, que nunca sintió que tenía que comprometerse con los platos. Nadir, Pritam y Darrel nos llevaron de ida y vuelta al restaurante principal para el desayuno y la cena, ya que mi madre no podía caminar la corta distancia debido a una discapacidad. Siempre estaban sonrientes y corteses y hacían todo lo posible para que ella se sintiera cómoda. El gerente de F&B, Nishal, hizo todo lo posible, analizando personalmente cada detalle. Fue asistido por Mevin, nuestro servidor, con un gran sentido del humor y una gran actitud. Aum y Omar también fueron muy dulces. Hansy y Preety en el spa fueron increíbles con su masaje. Ashwinta y Razia fueron excelentes amas de casa que tomaron cada instrucción y hicieron que nuestra habitación se viera genial todos los días. Fue increíble hablar con Natacha y Amanda en la recepción y, por último, pero no menos importante, Raj. Es un veterano en este hotel y un gran activo. Se nota lo orgulloso que está de representar a Oberoi y lo bien que cuida a cada invitado. Tuvimos una gran conversación con él cuando nos llevó de viaje al sur en el hotel BMW. Todas las personas con las que hablamos en el hotel tenían la misma calidez y afecto constantes. ¡Esto también incluye al gerente general del hotel, el Sr. Dhiraj Pereira! Muy sensato y agradable. Juntos, todos te hacían sentir como si fueras parte de su familia. En general, las experiencias y las instalaciones que brinda este complejo son insuperables. ¡¡Volvemos pronto!!

Bueno, por dónde empezar. Todo el complejo es absolutamente fantástico con espacio en abundancia. Nos recibieron y nos llevaron a nuestra villa para registrarnos, sin perder el tiempo. Nos obsequiaron con una hermosa villa con su propio jardín y vistas espectaculares al océano. La primera tarde cenamos 'en villa' y el servicio y la comida fueron perfectos. Eso me lleva al servicio, es ejemplar en todos los aspectos. Nada, pero nada, es demasiado problema, pero nadie es entrometido de ninguna manera. Las piscinas son preciosas, fuimos a la de adultos, que está más aislada pero sigue siendo preciosa y espaciosa. ¡Ultra limpio también, de hecho, todo el lugar lo es! La comida es increíble, desde bocadillos ligeros hasta comidas completas, mucha variedad, incluso los bocadillos en el bar eran geniales. He viajado mucho y me he alojado en muchos hoteles de cinco, incluso de siete estrellas, pero este lugar realmente se lleva una paliza. ¡El espacio es un lujo y esto lo tiene en metros cuadrados! En resumen, es un complejo absolutamente hermoso y uno para juzgar a los demás. ¡Realmente no puedo esperar para volver! Una mención especial al encantador Raj, que es el chofer del resort que espera para llevarte en su serie 7, un buen tipo. También Nisin y Melvin en On The Rocks donde cenamos casi todos los días a la hora del almuerzo con las espectaculares vistas sobre el Océano Índico. ¡Chicos de primera clase, primera clase!

We had a wonderful holiday at the Oberoi and the attention to detail provided by staff made our experience so memorable.

The resort is breathtakingly beuatiful, with incredible scenery in the background. What sets this hotel apart though, is the flawless service. The staff can never do too much for you, whether it is setting up a tennis court with towels and refreshments, putting up a big screen in the meeting room so we could watch Champions League football or making us whatever food we wanted at breakfast or dinner and completely accomodating our groups dietary requirements. The service levels from the chefs, restaurant team in going above and beyond are the best I have experienced in any hotel. One last thing, the resort is on the west coast and the sunsets are gorgeous.

What an experience. Everything was wonderful: the accommodation was great with comfortable beds and excellent bathroom facilities! The breakfast was succulent and so was the food for lunch and dinner. The spa, steam room and gym are excellent. The kids club is also wonderful and the activities such as rhum tasting, star gazing and magicians and the daily live music are also great. However, the level of service and care is what sets this hotel apart from the rest: from welcoming and check in experience and throughout all staff interaction, the staff has been amazing ! We can only name a few but Shaan, Adarsh, Ayushi, Natasha…all of them have been fantastic!

This is our sixth time here and it always impresses. The ambiance, food and all the staff are outstanding. It is a peaceful zen type experience, so if you want plenty of entertainment and games this won’t be the place for you. If you want 6 star quality and excellent service, in beautiful surroundings (there is a coral reef so will need beach shoes when swimming in the sea). We stayed 14 nights this time, usually 10 nights and we never felt it was too long

Courteous and respectful staff, always ready to help and assist. Stunning pools and beaches. Gorgeous views and breathing sunsets. One of the most relaxing trips by far in one of the most private resorts I’ve come across. I can’t wait to go back!

We have travelled the world, but The Oberoi will certainly take some beating the tentativeness of every member of staff was superb, the choice and quality of food was amazing, the hotel grounds were immaculate so quiet and peaceful, rooms were amazing, you are waited on hand and foot whether you are on the beach or in the restaurant.
