Rats in restaurant On arrival the hotel is really beautiful - a small oasis tucked away with gorgeous colonial style. The reception staff were really lovely and made us feel welcome. The room was really nice - but there were a few things we noticed (which we let slide at the start) - massive dirty lipstick mark on one of our water glasses, filthy lampshades above the bathroom sinks, bed linen that didn’t feel particularly fresh and the robes as well had a slight greyish colour rather than bright white which they were meant to be. These were all minor things at the start which we didn’t even mention to each other but did notice. We then had our first night at the cocktail bar where our drink was served by the lovely barman (very polite and smily) - as we were drinking we saw a huge rat run across the terrace - we decided it was an island and maybe this is normal (although we really weren’t happy about it). We then were dining within the restaurant and again a huge rat was running towards the table. For us, this is not ok. We asked to move tables as we saw a rat and the waiters barely acknowledged it - didn’t offer any apology and then proceeded to avoid our table for the rest of the night. We informed the manager the next day who assured us he was aware and the rat had been caught, and to “give it a chance”. We weren’t offered so much as a complimentary drink. After dining in the restaurant again the second night and again seeing a rat - for us it was time to check out. Not only is it unpleasant seeing rodents running around while eating but I would say it’s a hygiene issue and makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the safety of the food. The only concession we were offered was to not pay for the remaining nights that we would not be staying for. Really disappointing. On hindsight some things we would add about the whole experience: - Not a 5 star in terms of food, service or cleanliness - Staff really hit and miss - some very friendly some really rude and unhelpful - Rooms didn’t feel clean - Food was average - nothing felt fresh including breakfast - Quite stingey with water - water not replaced within our room (had to ask for it) We are now staying at a different hotel and haven’t seen one rat, so don’t think this is “just an island thing” as the manager stated. The service and food are also worlds apart which has really solidified that our review of 20 degres sud as completely justified - not a 5 star experience whatsoever.

Tuve una estancia agradable en el Solana. El servicio es increíble; el personal estará pendiente de ti al menos dos veces al día. Agradezco la sorpresa de mi cumpleaños. El pastel estaba delicioso. Pensé en pasar desapercibido, ya que esta vez no viajé con mis amigos.

Hotel super acogedor y relajado con acceso directo a la playa. Pequeña tienda y más restaurantes a poca distancia a pie

No hay muchas críticas sobre este hotel, así que se lo presentaré en serio. Reservamos el tipo de habitación Nirvana. Este tipo de habitación es solo para adultos. Está en la zona más alejada del lado del hotel. También hay un restaurante separado para el desayuno. Tiene una piscina separada. Es tranquilo y hermoso con pocas personas. Por eso elegí Le Méridien esta vez. . Los platos principales del restaurante de desayunos son a la carta y saben muy bien. El paisaje a la orilla del mar es particularmente hermoso. La falta de aglomeraciones y la tranquilidad es realmente la mayor ventaja, es realmente apto para tumbarse. La habitación es larga y esbelta, y hay una pequeña piscina en el balcón de la parte trasera que no se ha utilizado. La habitación debería haber sido renovada, se ven signos de renovación, pero no es exquisita. El ambiente y los servicios del hotel son bastante buenos, hay muchos artículos gratis en la casa de la playa, tomamos un bote con fondo de cristal y practicamos snorkel en alta mar. La cena buffet del hotel realmente no era deliciosa ni acorde con los gustos chinos, no me atreví a probar otras opciones, en los días siguientes condujimos ida y vuelta durante 2 horas para comer comida china afuera. El ambiente del hotel es muy hermoso y la experiencia general de la estadía es buena.

Seemed like a new hotel with amazing service and very polite and courteous staff. Pricewise, the quality you get in this hotel surpasses many others that charge you twice as much. It's in a serene, quite, and beautiful area. Definitely a place to revisit!

La prioridad número uno compartida por cada miembro del personal de Salt es brindar un servicio de atención al cliente superior a sus huéspedes y garantizar que se satisfagan sus necesidades en un ambiente hermoso y relajante. Todo el mundo fue amable y acogedor, lo que hizo que nuestra estancia fuera agradable. Nos encantó tener fácil acceso a las playas, así como a las numerosas actividades acuáticas que ofrece el hotel. ¡Los caballeros de la casa de botes fueron serviciales y nos alentaron a participar en todas las actividades! ¡La playa está muy limpia con impresionantes vistas del agua azul clara y turquesa, días soleados y hermosos amaneceres y atardeceres! El spa, Salt Equilibrium, es muy bonito! ¡Anju tiene una personalidad divertida, despreocupada y muy profesional y conocedora de la terapia de masajes! La comida era buena, pero mi amigo y yo estuvimos de acuerdo en que es un poco cara. ¡El desayuno se hace a pedido! Los croissants de chocolate y praliné eran mis favoritos… ¡oh! ¡Y chai latte! Los cócteles no eran nuestros favoritos porque creo que los camareros probablemente eran principiantes. Sin embargo, ¡tienen buenas selecciones de vinos! En general, nuestra experiencia fue excelente y definitivamente volveríamos a reservar este hotel nuevamente. Una recomendación sería disponer de transporte (moto o coche) para poder aventurarte a conocer otras zonas de la isla. Sin embargo, la recepción del hotel estará más que dispuesta a reservarle el transporte.

Un hotel agradable con jardines preciosos y bien cuidados. Tiene una playa amplia donde nadan las tortugas. El desayuno es bastante sencillo, pero tiene todo lo necesario. El acceso al agua es fácil y la playa se mantiene limpia. Se puede alquilar un kayak gratis. Desventajas: El almuerzo y la cena son caros si no se contrata el todo incluido. El hotel es bastante antiguo. En general, nos gustó: la playa pintoresca, el personal amable y tuvimos la suerte de ver tortugas en el mar.

Muy agradable y el personal muy acogedor.

Tuve una estancia estupenda. La alegría fue la mejor. Muy educado, muy acogedor y nos hizo sentir muy cómodos. El hotel era hermoso, tuve un gran cumpleaños 🎉.
