El hotel era grande, sin duda este hotel no fue abierto hace mucho tiempo y por lo tanto las instalaciones están en su forma. El desayuno también era grande, muchas opciones para elegir. En general, recomendaría quedarme aquí.

The location is pretty good, near lots if restaurants and metro station. Easy to get the cabs. Walking distance to the opera house and city center. The room is big and the bathroom is clean. The only weak point us the air condition which is too old to cool down.

Хорошее место расположения отеля, просторные номера. Уровень сервиса не соответствует заявленному. Сан. узел в отвратительном состоянии. В душевой кабине забит слив, при уборке не устраняют. Кран смесителя в душевой закрывается под собственным весом, чтобы помыться нужно его придерживать рукой. Можно мыться в ванной, но в ванной испорчен клапан блокирующий слив, сломан запорный механизм , клапан просто установлен в сифоне на синей изоленте 🤦🏻. Клапан убрать сложно, но можно, при этом в смесителе в ванной нет давления, помыть тело хватает, но волосы промыть крайне проблематично. В номере нет гладильной доски и утюга, приносят по запросу, ожидание - 20-30 минут, гладильная доска далеко не первой свежести, на продавленный металлический каркас натянут тонкий универсальный чехол, болтается складками. Нет блокировки двери (щеколды/цепочки), переключатель на замке не останавливает персонал отеля от доступа в номер, отдельное впечатление это проснуться от того, что по номеру ходит человек из службы сервиса 🤦🏻, столкнулся с этим после первой же ночи, после вывешивал табличку «не беспокоить». Если утром у вас номер не убрали, по любой причине, то номер в этот день без вашего напоминания не уберут совсем.

It is located centrally, enabling travellers to have easy assess to connecting public bus services, subways, walking distance to nearby eateries, restaurants, the famous Green Bazaar and the sceneic, spacious park that housed the famous Zenkov Cathedral! All the staffs were amazing, from the frontline to the housekeeping and managers on duty. They communicated well, speak good English, and were extremely patient and helpful in answering my questions about the hotel facilities, going to certain places, etc. Although the breakfast food selection is not much, it was still outstanding - the bread were fresh, the coffee selection is excellent, fresh cut fruits, and these were sufficient to fill my appetite during my stay for the breakfast! I would definitely recommend travellers and visitors to Almaty to consider staying at the Grand Tien Shan hotel, its a ”GRAND” feeling you wouldn't want to miss! Enjoy!

It’s had such a great ambience. Very family friendly. We could enjoy the nature outside as tourists. The breakfast was delicious and homely. The room was really comfortable.

The hotel feels quite dated, with a design and atmosphere that clearly reflect an 80s-era style. While some may find it nostalgic, overall it comes across as old-fashioned rather than charming. Inside the room, the amenities and furnishings appear low quality and somewhat cheap, which takes away from the overall comfort and experience. It doesn’t feel like good value compared to more modern options in the same area. Breakfast is another weak point. The selection is limited, and the taste is quite underwhelming. There isn’t much variety, and the quality does not meet expectations. Overall, the hotel might be acceptable for a short stay if location is the priority, but there are definitely better choices available in terms of comfort, quality, and value.
